Cons: Average qualityRidiculously short sata power cable

Pros: CheapNot noisy
Comment:
I was looking for a cheap psu that could power my Pentium Dual core E6300 and my HD4850. It does the job but the sata power cable was so short that i couldn't reach my HDD and my DVD drive simultaneously. So I had to run to the store and buy a 4$ 4pin molex to sata adapter cable.

Cons: Quality is not very stable

Pros: Looks good, black color, sleeved cables.
Comment:
I used this one over 6 units for friends, one dead after one month, one had bad shape and the iron cover didn't fit each other and found dead later, other units are okay. So I would buy it again. One suggestion, in this price and power range (400-450Watt) you can try SPI 400W which should be much better than this 430W.

Cons: - Length of some cables

Pros: - Sleeved cabling- Solid build & Quality parts- 5 year warranty
Comment:
First Thermaltake PSU and was quite surprised in the build quality of this item. The cables were sleeved making it much easier to tuck away behind the motherboard tray. Some cables are a bit short but I still managed to use them. There is a 5 year warranty so that is a big plus!

This is a nice psu for people replacing an old psu or for a cheap build. It can also support a mid range gpu (AMD 4850). Really good deal for the price.

Cons: None for a budget PSU

Pros: InexpensiveDecent Stability
Comment:
On sale this is very reasonable (25ish) for a budget-low end system. It's nothing on par with the higher end PSUs and you shouldn't expect it at this price. It's a heckuva lot better than the balsa wood weight generic PSUs you'll find in many PCs. If you have a generic PSU in a system I'd recommend geting one of these on sale and replacing the generic PSU so you won't have to play 'Russian Roulette' anymore.

Cons: Unsuitable for newer SLI or Crossfire solutions as most of them recommend 450-500W for a PSU[ personally I think it could handle it, but hey, I don't write the requirements]

Pros: Rock solid power, ultra quiet, I barely see the fan moving at full load, and cheap! Also the sleeved power connectors help immensely with keeping case neat and cool.
Comment:
Bought one of these about a month ago for a budget gaming computer/HTPC runs great, even with massive overclocks to the system, the voltage supply stays well within margins, no dips, spikes, drops or blips...

Cons: the last one I bought lasted 4 days, but I had it for 6 weeks before I installed it, so the warranty is with thermaltake in claifornia...

Pros: previous units I had all worked fine, looked good, and were quiet.
Comment:
So I've bought a few of these units and they've all been great except for the last one which died after only 4 days. The problem was, however, as this is a retail packaged unit and not oem the warranty after 30 days is with the manufacturer in california and not ncix. I didn't install the unit into a machine for about 6 weeks, so but the time it failed my warranty replacement ( rma to california at my cost, and UPS brokerage charges on the way back at the border ) will cost more than the original purchase price of this unit. If you buy one, install it right away and test it.

I bought this so I would be able to run my HIS Radeon 3850 Turbox ICEQ3. It was very easy to connect and works well. It seems to run cool, and the fans are very quite, even more so then the stock fans my computer had.

Cons: limited # of SATA and PCIe connectors -> not great for new systems, but perfectly fine for upgrading older systems

Pros: inexpensive
Comment:
I bought this unit to solve some display issues I was having due to an old and cranky ps. Other than wattage, my biggest criteria in selecting a ps was that it be quiet. This one sure fits the bill. I've been running it for a year now and have had no issues with it.

I buy this psu for my 3800x2 setup. It is very good althought the fact that you will no be able to install power hungry video card. I wasn't able to use my x9150pro because the system showed gliches when windows started due to lack of power. But for an integrated video system this is the ideal psu.

Pros: Works Great, well built.
Comment:
Be prepared to pay FULL price as rebate never comes. I am still waiting for over 3 month. Not even an e-mail confirming receipt of mail. No one answers the phone (always Busy, leaving a message is fruitless as no one ever calls, WEB tracking is nice but has no record of my rebate. And my was only $10.00 in August, its now $12.00

Pros: High wattage.Very good price.Accurate rails.
Comment:
I took a chance and bought this PSU when the FSP was out of stock and I wasn't disappointed. The 430 watts is more than ample power to run my 3 hard drives,2 DVD writers, loads of fans, pci devices and power modules, plus a 25% overclock.I tested the rails with a PSU Tester and all the rails are accurate. The price is great, but the PP price is substantially better.

We're running 8800gtx cards, 2gb of 800mhz ram, and 4800 am2 cpus on all our pcs. These PSU's handle them without any problems at all.EDIT:After 6 months of using these with the above specs, 1 of them exploded and blew fire out the back. Another one made a loud bang after turning it on and fried our motherboard.6 out of 8 are still fully functional though. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-29-08 09:36 PM

Had to get a quick cheap PSU for my new 8800 GTS, went with the termaltake TR2 because it was cheap and had more then enough for my computer. Don't mind if it dies within 6-12 months, I only spent 30$, and next time I will go with the 500W Thermaltake PSU.Looks really good, and was happy with all of the connectors that it comes with. A great buy if your looking for a cheap PSU. Look at the other Thermaltake products if you want more W for cheap.

I bought this Power Supply Unit (PSU) to replace my coolermaster, which conked out on me. I got it with the mail in rebate and only paid $30 or so for it, which is a great price. The rails are stable and there is more than enough power for my rig. Good buy!
