I'm a full time pro photographer and I added two of these to my post production work station. Nice contrast, bright. Evenly lit. I did color correct mine because of the sensitive work I do. My only two surprises were that it didn't come with a DVI cable, and the stand doesn't swivel. I've bought two other LG monitors in the past, and they both had swivel stands.

With f-engine enabled this monitor absolutely gives stunning colour and contrast. After 8 months of owning it i was unfortunate enough to get a stuck blue line of pixels, so I called LG and without a receipt they had it replaced in two days with a new one, shipping paid for Great Monitor, Great support

Using 2 monitors on same PC with help of a dual graphic card, NV, all in Digital of course: DVI. Bright, crisp and fast response. What else do you need at a low price?!? Got it in a couple of days. Fantastic service!

Great monitor for the price, well built and good performance. I've owned several LG Monitors and they all have been reliable performers. No dead pixels, great color, fast refresh times overall good value for the money. A couple of things would make this monitor an even better product namely HDMI input and a smaller pixel pitch. The LG has .28 pixel pitch but some other monitors in this category have a small pixel pitch width and HDMI inputs for slightly more money. Something to consider if you're doing graphics or gaming. Overall you won't be disappointed with this monitor and at the price it's good value for the money.

Cons: - no DVI cable included- Stand does not telescope or swivel (but most LCDs don't)

Pros: - Sharp colours and contrasts
Comment:
Forget those cheap "16:9" and "1080p" LCDs - LG has a great piece of glass here with a 16:10 aspect ratio (read: more vertical space) and a pixel resolution that is usable for this size.My only disappointment is the lack of DVI cable in the box - in this day and age, a 22" really needs DVI.

Cons: No HDMI which is more or less the standard now

Pros: Great picture with vibrant colours and no ghosting.
Comment:
This monitor is an excellent piece of hardware and works exactly as advertised. With a small investment in a DVI-I cord you can enjoy an amazing picture. The lack of an hdmi port hurts this monitor but you cant go wrong for the price.

I had a Samsung 22 Monitor which I had returned 2 times for more than 5 dead pixels. I Purchased this LG 22 Monitor about 4 weeks ago. The color & clarity is second to none! It blows my old Samsung out of the water. My son likes to play Cod4 & NFS Shift on it and its truly amazing the difference from the old 22 we had. If your planning to purchase a 22 make sure its the LG W2242TQ-BF 22!

Cons: Not really a weakness but buyers should be aware that this monitor doesn't has any speaker.

Pros: Excellent picture quality and contrast. Easy to set up and adjust according to your own preferences. Convenient mounting. Quality-Price ratio turned out to be better than expected.

Comment:
I bought two of these and they look great. Not only is the monitor's casing nice, but the picture is nice and bright and clear too. The only beef I have with my purchase is this new ''electronics tax'' if you will. Nowhere on the site while making my purchase did it mention the $12 extra I would have to pay to the province as a ''disposal fee''. I'm under the impression that it's out of (the company's) control, but some heads up would be nice (instead of emailing me 2 weeks later)

Cons: - TN panel

Pros: - relatively inexpensive- bright- easy setup
Comment:
This is a decent, inexpensive monitor. It has all the standard weaknesses of a TN panel; backlight bleed top and bottom, narrow viewing angle, mediocre colour reproduction. I'd buy it again if I was low on cash...

Cons: -DVI-D cable not included, you need to buy it yourself

Pros: -Blazing-fast response time-Excellent for action-packed games, movies, and Photoshop work-4:3 ratio button on monitor is a neat touch-Colors are very sharp with DVI
Comment:
As I do a lot of digital art in Photoshop and gaming, I needed a wide-screen that would give me the best of both worlds. This thing has a very fast response time, perfect for action-packed games such as Street Fighter IV or Crysis. The colors are very sharp and accurate, perfect for Photoshop work and movies.I'm very glad I bought this, my 3-yr old 19" LG L1970HR LCD pales in comparison.

Cons: None yet but a little bit of color shifting at different angles.

Pros: Nice design, small foot print, bright, no dead pixels, it works!
Comment:
This panel is good for the money. Nothing special and probably not super accurate with colours but for an everyday use unit, it gets the job done. There is slight colour shifting at varied angles but that is expected for a panel in this price range.

Cons: Lower resolution than the Benq 21.5 inch

Pros: Great 22lcd monitor for the price
Comment:
I brought this for my new computer that i am building. Along with the parts and this monitor, i got a benq 21.5 inch for my sister. both the monitors are great. comparing the both of them, this one is slightly larger (height wise), and the autoadjust function is awesome. However, the resolution is lower than the benq one that i got for my sister. Both the monitors are 2ms response time which is great for gaming. O yea.. iw ould like to add.. NO DEAD PIXELS. Got both monitor around 200 (after pricematch). I would consider getting this to dual monitor :). I hope this helps those out there who wants to buy a new monitor.. happy shopping.

Cons: None really

Pros: Large, vibrant, no problems like ghosting, etcGreat value
Comment:
This is my first "real" LCD and I was blown away with it from the start. Great for gaming, and it's much larger than it looks in pictures. I reckon it's about the best value for this price range. Couldn't be happier with it!

Cons: Had to purchase separate DVI cable

Pros: Bright and vivid, great response time in gaming
Comment:
This is a very Nice Monitor. The picture is sharp and it is very responsive for Gaming. By default it was way too bright so I had to reduce that a bit during setup. I will end up buying another for a nice dual monitor setup.

This monitor has everything I wanted. Good size, widescreen for my movie enjoyment and a fast refresh rate with excellent colour. I have made no adjustments other than selecting the maximum resolution. Right out of the box perfect. Like the energy saving power down feature when there is no input, kicks in in seconds...handy when you've forgotten to turn it off! I enjoy being able to easily work with two windows or more open on the big screen. Unit is surprisingly light also, wasn't sure when I received it if I had gotten the right item from Tiger. Overall very satisfied with this LG product.

Cons: Small discolouration (a few mm) at the top due to side lighting. Blue power led is a lil annoying.

Pros: No dead pixels. Bright. Great colours.
Comment:
Great LCD monitors. Bought 2 of them to replace my 19" IBM CRTs. Was waiting for LED backlit monitors to come down in price but... anyways, recommended. No dead pixels either.
