Cons: -Doesn't have a HDMI port, but not much a problem.- Has a large frame, so for use for multi-monitor setup, it is not so comfortable- - The stand is stiff and has only a little angle for tilt.

Pros: -Full HD-Good color (I'm not a graphist)-Have some weird options to change colors (sepia, black and white, blur). I don't really, care, but it is pretty neat.
Comment:
I'm satisfied, but I would not buy it again. I bought only because it was on special, but it could be better anyway. The large frame is very uncomfortable for multi-monitor setup, especially the bottom who is as large as the double of the frame on the side (that is already a little large).

Cons: Non AdjustableViewing Angle can be a problem for some peopleNo HDMI

Pros: Great Price when on SaleNo Dead Pixels
Comment:
It's a great buy for the price when this monitor goes on sale. I got mine for $130 and as long as you don't mind it missing HDMI then you'll be happy with this piece. I tend to have a lot of older parts around to allow compatibility between old and new which meant this worked great for me.That's probably the biggest issue most people will have with this, but simply getting a DVI-HDMI is worth the money you'll be saving for a 23IN.

Cons: Base feels a little flimsy when adjusting vertical tilt, power cable is a little short, no HDMI port, base shaft cannot be detached from screen body.

Pros: Deep blacks, vibrant colours, matte non-reflective screen, easy setup, On/Off button light can be turned off, no dead pixels.
Comment:
Currently it's on sale for $165, and INITIAL IMPRESSION: its worth every cent of it. The colours on this panel are rich and deep, same goes for the black colour. White levels are very nice, you might even need to adjust a few notches down so the whiteness isn't so piercing. It is a matte screen, which is rare amongst large screens of this price range. This means no smudges, no staring at one's own reflections when looking at the screen, and the texts and pictures are still crisp; it's a win-win situation. Now I already know beforehand that it doesn't have an HDMI port - this is understandable as this screen does not have built-in speakers (who needs those anyway, I got my 5.1 surround set up).Another hitch is that this screen ain't designed to be ergonomically wall-mountable. The shaft that connects to the detachable base is built into the screen's back, which means it will always stick out even if you mount the monitor on a wall. Also, the base feels flimsy and plasticky when I try to adjust the screen's tilt. But that's only a minor annoyance and once you have the screen set up right, you won't need to touch that again.9.8/10

Cons: The power button is weird... works...but it's weird

Pros: Another solid monitor from LG
Comment:
A great value monitor. The source switch is pleasantly quick (unlike my current LG...which takes way too long). Colours are decent and the base is adequate. A great budget saver.

Pros: I love it the design and the OSD also glad this one doesn't have sound for when power On/Off (Also the power button is not ORANGE is totally epic RED some people are colorblind....) and i love it since i love Red hehe.the black glossy is very eye candy too.

Cons: Stand

Pros: Size and price
Comment:
It's a good deal for the price, especially when on sale. It's very bright and requires adjusting the brightness down a few notches but the image quality is very good. The stand is a little wobbly and would be poor if you were using a steering wheel while gaming. For a general use monitor in this size range it's a good pick.

Comment:
I'm using this monitor as the main screen in a duel screen setup with a 20" Widescreen Dell. So far, I like the monitor. It's a little rough on my eyes, but turning the brightness down from 100 to 15 fixed that for me. When I pulled it out of the box, the first thing I noticed was the flimsiness of the frame. It was making sort of a cheap plastic cracking noise and felt very light (which is good if you're moving it around a lot, it's actually very easy to carry). When attaching the base, I was a little disappointed with how cheap it felt. The locking mechanize is a cheap nob and I'm not even able to adjust the angle (up and down) of the screen although it looks like I can. This isn't a problem though as it lines up well with my face. Now on to the good stuff. This monitor, is very bright and has pretty vivid colours. As I mentioned earlier it was hurting my eyes it was so bright. The quality of image that the monitor shows is quite good. Playing HD movies on it up close is a little fuzzy, but isn't a problem as moving a little farther away from it makes it look fine, kinda like a TV. The overall design of the screen is sort of stylish, with the cool looking curvy button and curved edges and corners. The "Fun" effects are a bit pointless but fun to play around with. The menus have all the standard settings of your average monitor plus some unique ones I haven't seen. One thing to point out is the lack of an HDMI port. This wasn't a problem for me as DVI can support the same quality and I wasn't planning on using this monitor as a TV or anything. Although it's got some bad parts and I haven't used it that long, I'm quite satisfied with it so far. After all, it was pretty cheap.

I use this monitor for heavy gaming and movie viewing. This is easily the best monitor i have purchased. Also, this does only have DVI and VGA connections so if your looking for HDMI, look elsewhere. Overall, very pleased with this monitor.

I bought this lcd for a customer, she needed an upgrade from a CRT screen. I decided to get an LG to replace a defective death pixel ACCER... PErsonnal advice: you are better to pay 10$ more and get an lg, better overall quality, that you won'T regret. On the warranty side it is also better. The contrast is good, white is white and not GREY lol. I recommend this screen if you can get it on sale. Watch the specials for free shipping offer.

Cons: Settings buttons are arcane and effectively useless. Can be too bright unless aggressively reset.

Pros: Bright display. Good finish. Benefits from upgraded video card DVI). Exceptional value.
Comment:
A very good value and a pleasant monitor when properly reset to realistic gamma values. Though it will run VGA, the quality is so much lower than DVI.

Cons: mot really any, but I guess the stand is a little bit flimsy.

Pros: Very bright monitor. Very big screen display. Very light to move around
Comment:
Really good monitor. I find it is really bright (it can be adjusted). The image seems sharp. One thing I like, is when the monitor goes to sleep, it is really fast at waking up.My old LCD screen took a long time to wake up.Also this monitor is very light. So it is easy to move around and its not bulky, but I find the stand for the monitor needs improvement. If you are looking at the specs on the LG site, they are incorrect, there is no HDMI port. It would be cool if there was one, but on a plus its easy to change souce from RGB (VGA) to DVI.Other thoughts: my old monitor had a detail/sharpness setting under misc, I liked to set it in a way so it shows less sharpness, making the image more blurred/soft so I can see it as the resolution was so high. It helped me to read text/fonts as it kind of bolded the font. This monitor is missing this detail/sharpness setting, but in a way it doesn't need it. I can see the image clear. Who knows if other montirs have this setting now. My old monitor was a Benq T903 its over 4 years old.

Cons: Clumsy front panel controlsVertically, picture is no larger than my old 17"May require video card upgrade for higher resolutionsFront panel illuminated power button is distracting

Pros: Bright, sharp, vivid widescreen pictureExcellent coloursStyling and goss black finish look great
Comment:
Overall, I really like this monitor. But don't expect a size increase vertically over a 17" display. I actually lost half an inch. I prefer a 16:10 aspect ratio so I'm not actually using the full wide available. If you're like me you can save some change and go for the 2243.

Pros: - Pretty good bargain (at $199)- Bright- Good colours and contrast
Comment:
Pretty good monitor for the price. Being a TN panel it's just about the same as any other manufacturer. Nice colours, really bright. Good build quality. Need to get used to the 16:9 aspect ratio. Buttons on the front panel feel a little cheap.

Cons: The glowing power button and the photo effects "inboard" of the image. One question Why???

Pros: Clear Very good resolution Good performance. At very good price for special rebate.
Comment:
This monitor is my main monitor. It's very wide theatrical way, very good for watching series on my PC. Would like to buy anotherone in dual screen. The design is good. The only drawback is the glowing button and the "image processing" feature. It's value is nothing and have rising up the value of the monitor.

Cons: Monitor stand dose not move to side to side.

Pros: Price is right for the spec. It has wide viewing angle. Less bleeding around the edge.
Comment:
I used to have Samsung 2243BW before this monitor and they are about the same size and feels same, but this one has higher resolution.(1620x1050 vs 1920x1080) Samsung has better utility, monitor OSD menu and functions. But if you compair LCD itself this one has wider viewing area and less bleeding around the edge. I have notice that this 16:9 is good for HD TV programming but movies will still show black bars. Overall, good choice for budget quality multimedia use LCD monitor.

Cons: Some useless functions on the menu

Pros: Good viewing angles(176/170 deg).Easy to change 16:9 from/to 4:3.
Comment:
I was looking for 24 inch one around $300~$350 but I bought this one. My major concern was viewing angles. I used to use a Samsung 21.5 inch monitor, its viewing angle is not so good like most other TN monitors. I'm waching movies a lot, sometimes two of more people together. This one is perfect for that. Another really good feature is you can switch easily from 16:9 to 4:3 mode or vice versa. You know some movies are vertically stratched, so every one looks very funny and short. Use this function. Everything back to normal instantly. I love this function. One thing I don't like about it is that I have to press buttons three times (Fun-Set-Menu) to switch. It would have been a lot better if there were a dedicated button for this function like Source button(switching input sources). It has Photo Effect(Photo Shop Effect) function. It's a crap. Who wants that function? Overall very good monitor. handy power button, no buzzing nose, no side bleeding lihgt, no dead pixel. I'm not a gammer so don't know about game.Paid $239.99.
