Comment:
After extensive research for my new 2 monitor setup, I chose to go with these. I bought 2 with the intention of having my PC games on one screen while using the PS3/Xbox360 on the other. The response time is super crisp and smooth. Gaming on these monitors is a real treat. The only downside I can think of is the lack of power in the builtin speakers (who cares!)Using my ps3 via the hdmi in on the monitor, as well as plugging my headphones into the monitor, it makes for a compact and enjoyable experience. I couldn't believe these were only $160 at the time of purchase, great deal for a great monitor. At the time, for the size and specs, and the amount of inputs/outputs on this monitor, it was second to none regarding the price.I still recommend this product to all of my clients over the latest LED/IP models.BUY THIS.

Cons: Runs hot? Uneven Bezel. Not 100% great for portrait mode.

Pros: Great adjustable stand, great price.
Comment:
Monitor has a really nice stand which is extremely adjustable. Mind you that the stand actually attaches in the rear 4-hole system thing so you can salvage the stands later in the years even after the 1080p standard becomes obsolete. It's pivot in one direction only. Great color, quality, contrast (Everything is awesome) but I have noticed that the monitors actually do give off alot of heat. So if you are in a small room with bad ventilation, I would invest in fans or something. And the fact that if you pivot the monitors, your viewing angle from the "Down" side of whatever you pivoted from would have a lower degree of view. The lower bezel part of the monitor is not the same width as the sides and top so doing a 3-way portrait surround thing might not work as perfectly (It will work, just not perfectly.)Overall, VERY Great buy. I bought three for Nvidia surround.

Cons: No USB ports - which was my own fault for just assuming they came on monitors now.I found it to be a little too bright out of the box, a visit to the OSD and you're good tho.As others noted the base is large. And to be really nit-picky: the monitor seems to have more give/wobble then I would expect while setting up the OSD...

Pros: Quick installation - as you'd expect with a monitor.I think the image quality is higher then my BenqQ E2420.Height Adjustable Stand (HAS) was the selling feature for me - it still has all the other bells and whistles.
Comment:
You don't need to install additional software to turn off the power button - OSD Menu > Setup, you need to SCROLL DOWN, until you find power light, set it to off. With this setting the power light comes on when you turn the monitor on, after ~15 seconds it turns off.A note for those familiar with the round bases that used to come on LG and Samsung monitors, this one doesn't have the rotating/gliding base.Meets all my expectations, but no USB ports

Cons: None that I can think of

Pros: Nice picture, good color contrasting, pivots and height adjustable
Comment:
For $180, this is a very nice monitor. It works out of the box, although users with dual monitors may need to goof around a bit with the resolution. The picture quality is great, particularly if you're staring at documents all day. A good purchase.

Pros: Great picture, great price, good adjustment, fast grey to grey
Comment:
For $179 you won't find a better monitor. Worked perfectly out of the box. No dead pixels and ultimately no need to fiddle with the setings. The picture quality is excellent, text is sharp and crisp and colors are rich and vibrant. A fast 2ms response time make ghosting a non issue in games, video editing or watching movies.Great monitor.

Cons: a lot of backlight bleeding on mine

Pros: Fast reponse, Very good stand, very good brightness
Comment:
for 164$ on sale I can't find anything wrong with this screen. My biggest concern was response time and this monitor delivers. The stand is rock solid and it's almost as bright as a led monitor.

Cons: All black or dark screens you can see the back light bleed through around the screen edge

Pros: Nice color, Quick Response time,Stand is better than i thought it would be
Comment:
Overall a neat screen for the right price. I bought it for gaming as my S-IPS monitor wasn't quite enough for responsiveness.Sitting next to my S-IPS monitor the colors are a bit washed out by default, but spending around 30 or so minutes tweaking the settings produced an image that wasn't all that bad, nor unlike my S-IPS. (Not that the blacks, or color accuracy could possibly compare, I'm just saying this monitor does a respectable job.)Arrived with one dead-pixel, so I'll be sending it in for replacement, but I do eagerly anticipate setting it back up for some gaming, so no regrets with this purchase.

Cons: Careful about dead pixels

Pros: Great price, good quality monitor
Comment:
For the price you really can't ask for much more, the quality of the screen is good as well as the stand. Just make sure to check for dead pixels because the first unit I bought had one as well as another issue with the power connection to the monitor being wobbly and insecure. Glad I got the zero-dead-pixel policy, and the replacement unit is perfect. :)

Cons: I found that the backlight was visible from the top and the bottom of the screen. This light is only visible on a black screen. (Some sort of light leakage)

Pros: - Great Price! - Clear image and great screen format. - 3 different inputs (VGA, DVI and HDMI) - TILT, SWIVEL, ROTATE and Height adjustment. - built-in monitor Speaker can be really handy
Comment:
On another note, I bought two of these monitors for a dual monitor setup. gamma on one is set to 50 percent and the other had to be set to 100 percent or else the colors did not look the same

This an amazing monitor for the price (180$). The settings out of the box are WAY to bright. I suggest that you take a look at the prad.com review on the link above and calibrate with these settings. Quality is outstanding. Honestly I've own couple of screens that i spent 300$ on each and non of them is as much awesome as this one! Great product and I highly recommend it!

This thing has one of the best included stands I've ever used. It's so versatile compared to cheaper models, and makes for a great screen. You can raise and lower, tilt, swivel and rotate this thing easily, making position super easy every time. Colors look good, and it's a nice size/resolution. Might not be a bargain at full price with full shipping, but on some of the free shipping promotions it's a good buy.

Cons: -Brightness uniformity is okay, but not a huge issue-Gamma is slightly off and needs some adjusting-OSD is a little hard to navigate -Not LED but those are only better due to power consumption

Pros: -Color accuracy is superb for a TN panel-Response time is better over all TN monitors in this price range-Cheap monitor for a gamer and for photo editing-Stand is adjustable and very good-CCFL produces a slightly
Comment:
The color accuracy on this monitor is probably the best you can get for any TN panel compared to an IPS which makes it more than reliable for photo editing. The response time is the best you can get for a monitor in this range because built in RTC which brings it down to 2ms doesn't show any weird artifacts as usually reported with other monitors with RTC. For gaming and accurate photo work this is the best you can get without dishing $500 on an IPS monitor. The only issue I have is that compared to my 21 inch Samsung the brightness uniformity was noticeable and I ended up returning the first one and the second one I got didn't have it as bad but it had a dead pixel. The third one doesn't have a dead pixel and the uniformity is manageable even in dark areas in games but still not as good as my older Samsung which I am willing to sacrifice as this monitor is much better. The Gamma a tiny bit off and isn't perfect but shouldn't be a huge issue. The OSD is a little hard to navigate which isn't a huge problem but it should be noted. It's a CCFL lit screen so it uses more power but it does have a wider color gamut compared to the newer LEDs because of this.If you're a gamer, and also need accurate colors and don't want to hurt your wallet this is the best solution.

Cons: Huge round base, compare to other HAS monitor in the market, takes a lot more desk space.Contract ratio is not very high, I found reading small text a little bit pain in default setting.Provided software's quick switch protait/landscape mode does not work with Nv card. So I have to click few buttons to toggle them.

Pros: Good quality.Come with DVI, VGA cable, audio cable.Has two speakers as well! Not loud when plug in 3.5mm audio. But for HDMI works OK.Easy swich bettwen DVI HDMI, I connect both PC and PS3 to it, work like a charm. The power light can be turned OFF by software provided, good for gaming in dark.
Comment:
Cheapest monitor has HAS in store. LG really put those fancy contract ratio thing aside, and focus on keeping all their product in good quality and affordable price. If you like me dreamed about putting screen vertically but hate those desk mount arms that cost so much. This is the monitor for you. There are quite a few weaknesses, but for this price, it's a steal.

Bought this for my gamer son, was using a 19" samsung 931c ,which is a very good gaming monitor ...this new LG has the real estate tho. after reading expert reviews online ,i purchased this monitor due to its fast response time , color and the fact that it can be calibrated to almost perfect , as per expert testing, after calibrating i can say this monitor does deliver , outstanding color and clarity , absolutely no ghosting ...good bang for the buck unless you care to buy a led lcd 120hz monitor.

Cons: wallmount option would have been nice. limited gamma settings (only 3 settings)

Pros: cheap, overall great images
Comment:
Bought this as a cheap 24 inches LCD. To be honest, I've never had a good experience with LG products, but this Monitor is really good so far. Not a single dead pixel so far, the image is very bright, good color depth. I have to say there was a lot of visible waves when I hooked it up to my laptop (VGA on a ATI Radeon X1600), but I've had no problem with it on my desktop (HDMI and DVI).For some reason, I wasn't able to find the latest drivers on LG canada/US site (it is listed as a discontinued modeul). A google search directed me to LG UK where I could download the latest drivers.

Cons: Source cycling is slow, menus are hard to navigate

Pros: Simple design, tilt/height adjustment, lots of inputs, audio output from HDMI, 4:3 button, 3-year warranty
Comment:
I have owned this monitor for about two years. When I first bought it it was fairly expensive but stood out in its class. By now I'm sure there are lots of cheap 1080p 24" monitors on the market but I'm considering buying a second one simply because this one is so great. The design is simple - no shiny black surfaces to catch light or get scratches on them when you touch them slightly. The pan/tilt/height adjustment is great. I often adjust the height based on how I am sitting in my chair and I can't see myself living without this feature! There are enough inputs for three computers or a couple of PCs and a game console, and they all work great. No issues with HDMI and the PS3 or 360 - build in audio is a little weak, but thankfully there is a speaker/headphone output that is very useful if you want to use this monitor as a TV, because it's a much better buy than any 24" HDTV you will find on the market! Overall a good product but I was unfortunately cursed with a unit that has one red stuck pixel near the bottom, and had no dead pixel insurance from the retailer I purchased it from!

I can only say I'm 100% impressed with this unit. Sold my 25.5" Asus monitor cause I couldn't stand the 16:10 AR and the picture quality on this LCD is even better than the Asus. Height Adjustable Stand is great and the base swivels as well, something I haven't seen on a monitor before. Overall great value at the sale price. NCIX had this monitor shipped in under 24Hrs and on my door step under in under 48 kudos.
