I bought this to familiarise myself with Backtrack.I does have a Atheros Chipset which supports packet injection.If you are looking for a basic wireless card to test your own network security (WEP,WPA) I would recommend this card.Included with the card is a low profile PCI bracket, removable antenna and it worked in Windows 7 64bit without the need of additional drivers. |

Bought this for my desktop and it work fairly well. The downside is the signal strength but this may be due to the fact that my PC is backed close to the wall and metallic case may be affecting the signal strength. Regardless, the speed is still very fast and connects quickly on start up.Works on Win 7 x64 |

I bought this on sale to use with my home network. Runs very well. Just popped it in and installed the drivers and was good to go. Signal strength was very good and no speed issues at all. |
I had a ASUS PCI wireless card that failed on me, so I decided to buy this when it was on weekly special for $19.99.The quality of this d-link product is great. This is a PCI card, so the installation is as easy as any other PCI component. I haven't had any signal strength issues with this card yet and windows 7 automatically found and updated to the latest drivers.
