I bought this about 2 months ago and didn't hook it up till a couple days ago. Not a good practice I know !I installed the supplied 3.0 controller card and newest driver on 2 different machines and got the same error "Host Controller Not Found" or something like that. Plugged into a 2.0 slot, and works at that speed no problem.So I figure a faulty 3.0 controller card, and I bought an ASUS U3S6 3.0 card, and it works great !So I would recommend to buy the drive without the supplied 3.0 card, and get a good one.
