Cons: Can't connect my USB printer, but that's alright I plan on replacing it with a wireless one eventually

Pros: connect hard drive directly to router as FTP
Comment:
Had it for awhile, didn't have to restart the router.A little disappointed, even though my usb printer is listed as a supported device, I have trouble connecting it as it won't recognize the printer.I love that it has more than your typical 4 port router so it saves money and space having to buy a switch to connect my devices.Love the guest wifi feature, don't have to worry about guests accessing my network.

Cons: Unit does get a bit warm.

Pros: Works like a charm.
Comment:
Initially, I had like a few other people the router crash but what I did to fix the problem was ensure the unit has a chance to cool down while operating. It has a built in fan but I have never heard it kick on even though the unit got quite warm. I duct-taped a couple of highlighters to the top of the unit and then flipped the unit over thus creating about 1/2+" clearance for airflow underneath and now with the unit upside down, the holes in the top allow the hot air to freely escape allowing the unit to stay cooler. Since I did this the unit has worked flawlessly with no crashes. Note: I do have all ports being used for probably 16+ hours a day so the unit is getting used. I hope this helps those that are getting crashes.

Cons: none so far

Pros: Great range, features & ease of use
Comment:
This is a great router. Installed this in the furnace room of a large two story house, and can steam HD video (via WDTV live) in the master suite without issue.Strongly recommended.

Cons: Crashes

Pros: Easy setup7 ports
Comment:
I've only had this a couple of weeks and I had to reboot several times.Rogers network went down two days ago and it would not come back up and I had to reset to factory settings to get the internet connection to work. It's a great router when it's working. I love the 7 ports and the range. Not sure what NCIX return policy is. I have to make a decision what to do about this.Update: Since I reset to factory settings, I have not had any more crashes. Works great now. This review was modfied by poster @ 01-17-13 04:16 PM

Cons: Crashes/Buggy

Pros: Easy to UseEasy to Setup
Comment:
The router suffers from frequent crashing. Reading the reviews shows that it is a great product, and from that point it is all true; I love this thing. However, reading WD forums will show that these routers suffer from crashing and bugs that will bring down the network all the time.Buyer Beware.Would I buy this again, easy answer is NO... its not worth the time or risk.

Cons: -Fast track Plus does not help gaming in the least, in fact, it makes it worst since it prioritizes video streaming first making the latency even worse when someone is streaming video-restarting the router takes quite a few minutes more than most-only router and AP mode available on stock firmware-signal strength is rather poor for a 450+450 router even when it's

Pros: -7 Gigabit Ethernet ports!-Power button-Very clean and fast web interface-dual band 450+450-Guest networks for both bands-Fast track Plus works extremely well for streaming videos
Comment:
The promise of fast track plus technology sold me on this router for $140. Unfortunately it only fulfilled half it's promise. Even when the latency is +1000ms locally, I can still stream 720p youtube videos without any buffering issues. However, I cannot say the same for gaming, fast track plus currently does nothing for gaming. In fact, if someone is streaming a video in the house, it increases the latency drastically, making it even worse for gaming! Hopefully WD will be able to patch this issue with a firmware update, although I am not hopeful. This review was modfied by poster @ 11-28-12 08:24 PM
