Cons: -short usb cord-only works with usb cord it came with (for me anyway)-about 22MB/s write, decent, but I was hoping for 30MB/s

The usb cord it comes with is really short, about 1 ft long and other cords I tried didnt work.It works though, writes about 22MB/s avg, and a 3 yr warranty, and very quiet so thats good for 3.5 stars. If it came with a longer usb cable I'd give it 4 stars. Now if it lasts 10 yrs with no issues then I will give it 5 stars.I got it on sale from ncix at christmas for 70 bucks!!! Sold!! |

Plug My Passport into any PC, edit files, read e-mail, and view photos.This is a high end looking piece of equipment,great for work. Your data is protected with 128-bit encryption so if it gets lost no worrys. |

Cons: 320gig after program they load on it . Its only 298gig

This Ex. hard drive is great for taking info place to place . Works out great for taking it on a plane and place it as carry on . Its small which is a bonus for me but the storage was only 298 gig . Couldnt believe that the hard drive needs 22 gigs to run it . |

I bought the 250GB version of this hard drive about 8 months ago to replace my failed memory stick. It has been extremely reliable, portable, and useful. I have unfortunately already filled it up but I'm going to buy a 1TB express hard drive by western digital because I have been so pleased with it's results. The only problem is it's a little slow, and sometimes when it is plugged in it is improperly read and gives me a good scare by saying it has not been formatted, but after rebooting it it works fine. I run a private computer repair service and I recommend this hard drive to all my customers. Buy this product, you won't be disappointed. |

Plug & play on any computer i've connected too. I've created ntfs and fat partition so i can transfer larger file than 4 gb. Fat is for my ps3. I'm very satisfied with this product,its running all day long at my job and at home. |

I used it to connect to my PS3, which requires FAT32 format as shipped. Works great with the USB cable provided but not with a longer cable I tried. A lot of data in a very small package. Wish I could think of a reason to get another. |

Cons: you have to realize it is a hard drive in there and not a thumb drive. it wears out if moved around a lot while the disk is spinning
Pros: very portable, very easy for quickly swapping files between computers. especially between an xp and vista comp that don't like networking. not requiring an outlet is awesome. very highly recomended Comment:

This little guy served me well for the travels. No disconnects, very sturdy even after tossing it around a bit. I am very happy with this purchase. It even looks great!
