Cons: unknown so far

Pros: tiny, cute, good quality
Comment:
At beginning, I am hesitated to buy this little guy.anyway, I picked it at 20 dollars (when it is on sale). actually, It is nice one, pretty tiny but good looking, and strong signal.the driver is friendly, easy to install.it is also good for laptop as its cover, but which laptop doesn't have wi-fi now? I put it on my laptop. So far, I really like it.

Pros: Good signal
Comment:
This product is great. I'm using a Wireless N connection at home and this adapter picks up an excellent signal all the time. Would definitely recommand this product to anyone.

Cons: range is pretty small and not really fast

Pros: Really small, easy installation
Comment:
In the overall it's not bad at all, but temporary. You won't keep it for years. For the price I would recommend it when your internal wi-fi card freaks out.

Cons: The signal is not good.

Pros: Small size, easy to install.
Comment:
This wireless adapter has a very small size, and in Windows 7 it is plug and play, don't need install driver. But the signal of this product is not good enough, but for indoor use, the signal is good enough.

Cons: very rarely one has to manually click connect

Pros: picks up signal fast
Comment:
Works well. Used on 2 seperate desktops and gets good speeds. Also signal is not as strong as say something with an actual antennae on it but at this size who cares.Picks up my router (living room) singal in my basement and on second floor perfectly.

Cons: Weak reception

Pros: Small, works with WDTV Live, wireless N works with DIR-655 with no issues. Inexpensive (costs almost the same as the cat-5 cable I would have had to buy).
Comment:
Bought this to plug into my WD TV Live. Dropped in and worked with no issues. I am able to get good throughput and have no isses, but was surprised that the reception was rather weak. 10' from my router and signal strength is 35%-45% (according to the router).

Cons: -Can't think of any

Pros: -Plug and play-Small and compact-Great value on sale
Comment:
Bought this for a friend's build. He seems to be happy with it. The small form factor is great. I personally haven't had a chance to run any tests but it serves my friend's needs just fine. Can't really give this a five star until I test it for myself. At the regular price, this would not be a great value.

Cons: Bundled software

Pros: Compact, works like an N adapter should - fast, good signal strength even outside my house
Comment:
Excellent product so far, purchased for $25 - less than half the price of any other decent N adapter. I now have four of these working off a Linksys WRT160NL with consistently good signal strength, even outside my house. As others have mentioned I dumped the bundled software and just use the driver. To get 65Mbps+ connection speeds you have to set the Channel Width to 40MHz (wide) on your router. The connection speed on mine is 135Mbps anywhere within about 40ft of the router.

Cons: Weird utility programs, not the greatest speeds

Pros: Cheap, tiny, usb
Comment:
Well i recently got a new sound card and had to get a usb wireless card to replace my dlink dwa-552 so i could put my second video card back in. Picked this up on sale for $25 and it actually has a BETTER signal than the d link card. When i first installed it using the default windows drivers it worked fine, then i installed the buffalo utilities and didnt realize it set the adapter in to access point mode. Yes, this tiny adapter can be used as an access point, or even a range extender, although i havent tested the feature yet.At $45 there may be better options, but if you can get it on sale its definitely worth it.

Cons: Controller software is garbageExpensive when not on sale

Pros: TinyWorks as any other N-adapterEasy setup
Comment:
A very nice small N-adapter. Disregard its software and just rely on Windows to control this device. Good range and quite sturdy. Would highly recommend to buy when on sale. Bought for under $20.

Cons: -Not as reliable as straight Ethernet connection-Slightly slower than my laptops wireless connection

Pros: -Works quickly and easily-Don't need the cd for driver installation.. with Vista anyways-Very small.. looks good and is hardly noticeable-Low cost
Comment:
It works. Easy to install. If I could get an Ethernet cable to my desktop I would much rather do that, but since I can't I got this, and I'm completely satisfied for the price.

Cons: Cannot keep a consistent connection

Pros: Small & light.
Comment:
I've struggled with this adapter for months on an extra computer. It will connect, then disconnect. Proximity to the router makes no difference. The signal strength can be 100%, but it will still disconnect for seemingly no reason.Reinstalling or updating the drivers does no good, other than getting to connect briefly again before it disconnects again soon.Completely unreliable. I strongly do not recommend.

Cons: Very weak signal

Pros: Small and compact
Comment:
Installation was easy. Does not have a very good range at all. From the same spot (about 15 feet through 2 drywalls), I've tested a D-Link, Lynksys and this Buffalo. While others reached an average speed of 130mbps, this Buffalo has an average of 58Mbps, dropping very often below 10Mbps: Even set up at 40Mhz.It does not have the capacity to go through 3 drywalls really.

Cons: weak signal

Pros: physical size
Comment:
It very tiny and does not get in the way too much. Installation was easy. However, its range is not as good as compared with a built in wireless N in my laptop. For the price though, it's a good buy.edit: It has a max trasmission rate of 130mbps, and you will have to use buffalo supplied software to set it to 40Mhz in order to obtain this rate. It's tx power must be pretty low. About 3 drywalls within ~20 ft will drop  the rate down to

Cons: signal strength, only works on 32bit

Pros: size, price
Comment:
This device would only run at 65 mbps on various N routers. The range also seems to be weaker than my built-in wireless G on my netbook. Also this would not run on 64bit windows.

Cons: (If using XP software read below..otherwise if using Win7 this isn't an issue...runs at 150mbps the moment it sets up).LOL when installing software I let er install the whole suite which didn't allow you to sort of not install the Soft Router install and Soft AP. Anyhow at various points of the install when asked to remove the adapter and reinsert  you were left with a prompt that the internet was not found to complete install. Well...Duh...Anyhow, what I had done to remedy was plugged a LAN cable in.

Pros: Win7 64bit driver not needed..just plug in to a USB port and it's found automatically. Surprisingly Strong Signal Strength in my house on my PC, Small Footprint, Fast-Stable! Connected to my DIR-825 no drops or hiccups. Nice subtle tiny Blue LED.
Comment:
(update  OCT 31,2009) Running on WIN-7 64Bit and all you do is plug it in to a USB port..driver installs on it's own (no disk). Drive is stable and connection is 150Mbps now without tinkering. (Below is when I was using WinXP 32bit)Run the Airstation Bandwidth 20 or 40MHZ Tool After Setup to achieve 150Mbps. My connection was set to 65Mbps after setup by default on my DIR-825 N Router connection. After running the tool I'm now at 150Mbps and this seems the highest it goes which if fine for the price of this thing. Minus the hiccup of the software install I'm going to give this thing a solid 5 stars all the same because of the feeling I'm getting about it's stable operation. I can browse my network/NAS fast, cruising internet is snappy and the thing is so tiny!I love it's convenience and SIZE! I don't know...I'm sold. Cons: Supplied software is kinda weak... Small size means small antenna which means doesnt get very good reception.Cant get it to connect at 300MBit

Pros: Very Very Small... Resonably priced...
Comment:
I bought this because my older laptop didnt support the N format that my router was using(Dlink DIR-625).The supplied software is terrible, dont bother using it and let windows do the configuring... one thing that is needed is the 20/40MHz bandwidth selector when it set to 40MHz I was able to get 135Mbit and sometimes 150Mbit... I was never able to get it to connect at 300Mbit like my other laptops do... I've read some comments about this unit only reports half the speed... so 150 = 300Mbit but I dunno if its true. Speed wise it doesnt seem like it.

Cons: None

Pros: Works flawlessly under Windows 7 RC, able to get 135mbps out of box.
Comment:
The installation was idiot-proof. I plugged it into my aging IBM Thinkpad T40 running Windows 7 RC, and the device driver was installed automatically as soon as the OS detected the new device. I selected my AP (D-Link DIR655 running 11n), provided my pass phrase for WEP, and the connection was established at 135mbps. The entire process took less than 2 minutes. I am very satisfied with this purchase.
