I had owned a card with an antenna attached to it and the antenna had fallen off so I decided to replace it with this one. So far I'm loving it, the antenna is separate and can't fall off. I am getting very good range, I can pick up neighbor's connections that I can't pick up on my laptop and I had no problems installing it. I just wish the cables for the antenna were a bit longer, it only reaches to the top of my computer desk. It would be nice if your computer was in a bad spot to be able to put the antenna in a better spot. I have dead spots in my house :( |

Okay.. so i thought that pairing a wrt610n and wmp300n would be a good idea?... how wrong was i, so verrrry wrong.wrt610n - no complaints, great router, but this isn't it's reviewwmp300n - This guy has so many issues.1) installa nightmare under vista (linksys claims VISTA COMPATIBLE!), not only are the installers provided completely washy and only work half the time during install, you also (no joke) have to do a voodoo dance during said installation in hopes this will actually workmy tip - save yourself the effort and just go to device drivers installing ONLY the driver manually2) system bogggg.gg.g..ging downyeah, everything from mp3, xvids, dvd's, anything will start to chop and stutter as soon as this card is turned on.how do i know for sure? i disabled the card and all the gremlins decided to run away.3) N... what N?N speeds at a conservative distance... 10m away.. was non existent. I had to settle for 11mbps at best and that was with some VERY creative settings in the wrt610n.4) settingsoh boy is this thing picky, mixed mode sure... but I'll only give you 2 bars and 11mbps, forced N only? screw you i won't give you any signal you greedy hog. I'm being a tad illustrative with my language, but you get the idea.5)DO NOT BUY THIS CARDI've read countless resources from linksys forums to n**e**.com reviews from buyers saying this thing is terrible... i would have to agree at this pointSystem specs:biostart ta780g m2+2x80g HD raid 0 sys discvista business2mb ram ddr2-800kudos to the two guys below me getting this thing to work, you must have had a good voodoo dance :-) |

Decided to spend the money and get a heavy duty wireless card for my desktop. I was a little worried cause I heard this card could be tricky to install and get working properly but I had absolutely no problems. I went from 2 bars to a 5 bar connections and it has been great. The Antenna is a little large and ridiculous I just wish the cable was a little longer so I could put the antenna somewhere then on top of my tower. |

I have a DGL-4500 Xtreme Draft N Router, and there's been some problems with the Dlink network adapters connecting to it. I used to use a Belkin USB adapter. JUNK! I just installed this and WOW. I'm 2 levels down from the router and my connection is at 100%! I didn't expect this kind of awesomeness! I highly recommend for people that have problems connecting over a longer distance. |
This is a vary good networking card, it picks up my internet when on my laptop i had 1 maybe 2 bars and now my desktop has 4 bars and the speed is just great. All i wish is that the antenna cord could just be 1 foot biger so i could but it out of site but anyways recomend it to everone.
