They come with a fairly long extension USB cable, a plastic holder with velcro to attach it to a surface. Installed all of these on XP machines. Software installed quickly on 2 machines, but needed patience on two other machines. I ended up doing clean installs with MSCONFIG no non-windows services and no startup items on 2 machines to get the drivers and swr to install. I got BSOD's the first time I rebooted these two machines, but powered them off and on and have not received BSOD's since. Speed on these is good. They are dual band. These are Version 1 devices. Download 3.0.0.2 at the vendor site. Unplug the device and start the program load, I am using the Software's Driver, not Windows to manage the profiles. Using WPA2 and AES. |

I bought this adapter because I wanted to move my DSL modem and wireless router into the livingroom where I use my laptop the most and also so that I could hook up my Blu-Ray player and satellite box to the web. I have used it on my desktop for a couple of months now without and problems at all. Downloading and installing the software worked flawlessly as well. No complaints from me! |

I mistakenly installed version 2 software and couldn't figure out why it didn't work. Version 1 solved the problem immediately. I also bought a wireless N router. Now my equally cheap neighbor and I split a singly monthly HS internet bill because we both have great access and speed throughout our houses. As I hoped it would be, it is measurably better than the wireless g it replaced a month ago. I another one for my son. |

Bought this dual band wireless adapter to go with the dual band router I purchased (both refurbished). No issues with this product. Worked right out of the box. Connected to the router without issue (very easy to set up) and has provided great speed and range. No dead spots wherever I use it. Your service was excellent as always. |

I bought two of these for the client desktops I have on my home network. I recently upgraded my internet service to the new DocSis3 speeds. I have a Netgear DocSis3 wireless router so I thought buying these Netgear adapters would be the way to go. My clients have the Windows 7 64bit OS. Netgear does not provide Win 7 drivers for these adapters and I could not get the latest version of their driver to install correctly. I was able to get them working by going to the Windows Update site and downloading the drivers they suggested. However, I am not able to get anywhere near the speeds my internet service provides. In fact, the download speeds with these adapters are the same as I got from my Wireless-G router which is about 12Mbs. I am hard wired into my Netgear WNR1000 and get downloads of 62Mbs all day long so I know that speed is coming into the router. Unfortunately my clients cannot get anywhere near that with these adapters, however, they do work. |

I was looking for a wireless adapter to work on clients computers when they come in. Boy was this a good find, all I do is load the software, download all their updates and when I'm finished uninstall the software and they are good to go. It works fine for all my needs and a great price. |

The installation on both a laptop and desktop 64 bit Win 7 computers went with out a hitch using software from Netgear. Works side-by-side with no interference with Win Network Configuration. Adapter works on 9-ft (4-ft supplied) long USB cable extended above metal trailer, 300 ft from router. |

I've made my entire house wireless N and stream to everything. 4 Win 7 pc's (1 media center only pc), 3 Win 7 laptops, wireless printer, 3 xbox360's and a PS3. I bought 4 adapters and have them on all the laptops and the media center pc. Downloaded software and the program took over and installed on it's own. Easiest wireless setup I've ever done. |
