Ordered new, received used, and missing the instructions and had software to install for what I believe; a different model. Software would not recognize router. Could not make private so any neighbor could access it. Range was weak with no antenna. Experienced conflict with neighbors on same frequency. Returned for full refund--purchased a New D-link 955 simultaneous dual band with USB port. Now I am happy!

This was easy to set up and configure. However it randomly disconnects from the Internet. Every time the computer is turned on you have to reboot this POS. Went to the Linksys site and found out EVERYONE that bought this has the same issues with it and zero response from Linksys. If it weren't for the no return policy I would have returned this the same day. Last Linksys product I ever buy...

This wireless router is the most unreliable I've ever seen. It goes down dozens of times a day. Regardless of channel. I've done all the setting changes suggested by Cisco, most current software etc. Nothing changes the frequency of total network failure. My 10 year old D-Link works better. If you live in an area where there are several other wireless networks this is NOT the one to buy.

Set it up, worked fine for the first two days. After that it kept dropping my connections on both computers. Every 20 hours I was having to reboot the router. Called customer support, of course they were foreign, so it took forever to understand what they were saying. Finally Linksys started blaming Verizon, called Verizon they were blaming Linksys. Never found a fix. Ready to give up.

This item was a gift for another but I have been expecting a call for help. None has come. He has it up and running with little effort. Now all his devices are alive and hooked up.

I was surprised just how well the range was on this considering it doesn't have an antenna. Surprisingly I can be outside and still pick up an almost perfect signal from my iPhone with this. Setup is easy as long as you're not a total noob and try to use the software when you can very easily set it up in 2 minutes by going to 192.168.1.1. Don't listen to the 2-3 people who rated this a 1 in all categories. There's lots of people out there that know nothing about computers, but like to think they do. I've bought one for myself to replace an old netgear and almost a dozen more for customers. All worked out of the box 100% of the time within minutes.

Junked my old D-link hardwire for this one. Great price, fast delivery, easy to install and set up. 2 pc's hardwired, 1 wireless laptop, 2 wireless gaming devices are connected and the network speed is good. Wish I had purchased it sooner.

This unit was purchased to set up a classroom to teach Sunday School teachers how to search the internet & make more exciting lessons. The set up was simple & the router comes up ready to work each time it is plugged in to the network. In HIm, Dr. Carl

This router works very well at keeping my computers linked together. It does just fine. However. If you are a big gamer I would recommend the wireless N.Ultra range and faster for gaming.

I got this one to replace my WRT150N that stopped working close to two years. It was easy to set up and runs pretty nice even with my laptop that is running XP on it. Took a little longer with the Xbox, PS3, WII and a MAC notebook to set up. I had to use the software Network Magic that gave the systems permission to join the network, an additional security feature and allows printing from various locations on the network. The Network Magic does nice things but you have to pay extra for it's features. Overall, the router is nice, and fast. Able to maintain a 8.5 MB download speed over the cable and close to 7 MB on wireless. No loss on bandwidth while gaming. Pretty nice.

I was nervous about installing a wireless network since I have never done this before, but you can't gain experience until you at least do it once. So I did. This is not a plug it in and viola you have a network situation, but almost. You have to fill in a few blanks and keep your wits about you and before you know it, you have a network up and running. If you need your hand held, this might not be for you, but if you can stand up in a slight breeze, then you're good to go. Certainly the price was right and the delivery outstanding. This was the first step in going from one pc and one printer to three pcs and two printers. At this point, three pcs are on line and one printer is available to all with one printer to go. All under a hundred bucks. Not easy but not hard either. It is doable. Unbelievable.

After my Dlink router died I picked up one of these and it has been working perfectly ever since install. When my office expanded there were places out of range so I picked up a second WRT54G2 and placed it in a basic bridge mode while using the first WRT54G2 as the main DHCP server.
