Retail price was a little high, but thankfully this site participates in Bing cash-back so that took some of the edge off the purchase. May not have purchased if it were not for the BCB. Router was a snap to setup and has been working flawlessly. I am not 100% certain of the benefit of the dual frequency wireless as all of my non-PC wireless media devices use the same 2.4ghz freq. The included network management software is a big plus. I piggybacked a legacy wireless router behind this one and the software realized I had neighbors using the wi-fi from the legacy router (I've turned to wi-fi completely off on the legacy router and implemented WPA-2 on this new cisco). Great buy - highly recommend!

Solid router with loads of features. Actually sets up two separate wireless networks simultaneously each with their own SSID for the 2.4 and 5 Ghz bands. The wizard was slow and I didn't really like it, but once I got to the admin interface setup was smooth. Port forwarding and static ip's work great. LAN static IP interface is a little hard to find, but it's there.

Installed without any issues, connected to all PCs and Macs on the first try. Range and bandwidth are noticably better than the Wireless-G router that it replaced. Configuration was so simple that ''a caveman could do it'' :)

I am very happy with my purchase. Set it up within 30 minutes and linked all the computers, gaming systems, and phones without any problems. Had to switch the 2.4 frequency to auto 20-40 frequency to enjoy the full speed. Not to happy to have to buy the full version of the software, but I can get by with the basic free version. A little expensive, but reliable and full of extras.

I upgraded to a wireless N Linksys router from a wirless G Linksys router. Set-up was very easy and performance has been good thus far. However, I did activated the 30 day trial of the Home Network Defender and it slowed the internet to a crawl, I disabled on the router's web browser managed Administration Tab, and the performance was drastically improved. In order to take full advantage of the dual-band 5MHz capabilities I also had to purchase Dual-Band N adapters for my laptop and desktop. Both the G and N worked fine on 2.4MHZ band, but you will need dual-band capability for the 5MHz. The Gigabit ports are also nice for wired devices! I would recommend building your home network using this router as the center point!

This is probably the worst tech purchase ever. I 'upgraded' from an 802.11g router to this 'n' router. After two months of trying, I can only get this router to work as a wired hub, which is sort of pointless. I had a Netgear router before which worked perfectly. This Linksys hardware and software are pretty useless. The software doesn't work - even if you go online to troubleshoot, you immediately get advised to throw away the software, and you need to get into your computer's IP settings to try and get it to work, but still doesn't for me.

This wireless router did not demonstrate the range in which I was interested. I was more easily using other peoples wi-fi than when I finally purchased this one, refurbished. I do not think that wireless routers with no visible antenna are worth purchasing.

I was skeptical about the price, and about having internal antennae rather than external ones I could replace with bigger ones, however this until was well reviewed and recommended so I went with it. I've been extremely impressed. I get much more coverage with it than I did with my classic wrt54g even with after market bios and antennae. Performance is outstanding, and I was able to use the old SSID for my 802.11g users and make a new one for my power users on 802.11n -- keeping the higher bandwidth for power users. Very good product.

I purchased the WRT610N last October and have absolutely no complaints. It really carries the signal quite far into my house and has never dropped the signal. I did have an issue with the set up (Modem would not recognize the router) but it turned out to be my cable provider blocking the appliance but this had nothing to do with the router. After a 2 minute call to Comcast, the network was up and running and has been ever since. Good Deal!!

Reaches clear out to the shop 75 ft. away through the metal walls of the mobile home. Fast, fast, fast! Or maybe I just had a bad one before. We couldn't be happier. I plugged it in and it worked. Period.

I purchased this item to set up my own wireless home networking system. I was surprised at how easy it was for me to follow the directions and be up and running in no time. I did not have to schedule an appointment with a technician and wait all day for them to arrive. This made me very happy.

I bought this new combined with the WMP600N Dual-N adapter. Before making any changes I measured the signal strength of my old 2.4MHz G router and wireless adapter setup and it came in -50dB. Then I swapped out the old adapter for new and found signal strength had dropped bouncing between -58dB and -65dB occasionally dropping altogether. I then hooked up the new router and the combo of new router and new adapter maintained the same -58dB to -65dB observed earlier with same dropouts. So the adapter appears to be at least partially responsible. The new combo also gave me a reading of about -80dB with frequent drops on the new 5MHz signal which is quite low. Updated the firmware on the router and connectivity issues improved but did not completely go away. In the end with tweaking the 2.4MHz signal is good. I have been unable to get a reliable 5MHz connection going despite the fact there are no other 5MHz networks in my neighbourhood.

Owned several other routers but this router is just great. I have a combination of situations. I have hard wire and wireless arrangement. Set up was a snap and have not dropped a connection since I installed the router. There are no antennas to worry about. My house is rather large and distance between and where I use a netbook or laptop makes no difference. Even while out of doors, signal is great. If you ever wanted a really good router this is the one.

The product was very easy to setup. I already had a wired network in place, so PC naming, etc. was already done. The LELA software is a good assistant to getting things connected and running. Speed and performance do not seem to be much slower than with the wired network. I have not yet done the video streaming with one channel while everything else goes on the other channel. Overall, I would recommend this product.
