I needed a good cheap way to add wireless to an older IBM Thinkpad. Glad I found this USB adapter. Worked great. Just run the software first and you should not have any problems. If you do just put in the WEP key and you should be good to go. I am going to buy several more just to have on hand. Thanks .

Wow! The delivery was quick and the item works great. The only suggestion I could make is to make it a little shorter. I have a tendency to bump it on my laptop and disconnect it. Loved the price!

I just bought a new home, and I have 4 desk tops, and a lap top and a gamming system all WIFI but 1 desk top. I didnt want wires all over the house so I went with the wieless USB. It worked on all 3 of the desk tops with out a problem. I run Windows XP Home , and Pro and I have always used Linksys to hookup my systems. I Trust this site and Linksys for all my PC needs! Great Job!

Good value. I'm using it on windows 7 home premium and although I had to download the latest drivers from linksys website (drivers in cd don't work properly for windows 7), the product performed flawlessly. Great price and great wireless range.

THIS ITEM COMES WITH A CD (WOH I WAS HAPPY) AND FIND OUT NOTHING WRITE IN IT. TRY TO FIND SUPPORT IN LINSYS PLACE. FORGET IT. NO WAY. IS PROBABLY GOOD IF WE CAN FIND DRIVER OR WATH EVER NEED TO MAKE IT WORK. TO MY LUCK I ORDER 2 OF THEM. NOW THEY ARE IN THE TRASH. IS MORE EXPENSIVE TO SEND IT BACK. MARIO GIL

I couldn't get it installed and had to call linksys for support. That took two days of phone conservation. It works now but my PC runs 5 times slower than dial-up. The router has to be close to the PC to work well. I am going to try a usb cable extension to see if I can improve the reception.

The problem with this offer is that it doesn't state if this is version 1 or version 3 of the device as both have the same description. There are Linksys 32 bit and 64 bit Windows 7 drivers available for version 3 but not for version 1. This might be why VJ on January 28 has no problems with Windows 7 but DjGamer cannot get a driver on March 17th: perhaps both versions of the USB adapter are on sale and it's pot luck.

I bought 2 of these and 1 worked fine and the other kept cutting out on me. The computer i put it on i always suspected had flaky USB ports. I put a USB2 PCI card in the computer and hooked it up to that instead of the computer ports and it has worked flawlessly ever since.
