Cons: Not exactly cheap

Pros: Gold Rated Modular PSU from Seasonic
Comment:
This PSU is about as good as they get on the quality and reliability scale. It's a Seasonic PSU, and a gold rated one at that. The modular cables are a nice bonus, although they didn't really help me in my case because my single HD was in a different direction as the Optical drive, meaning I needed to use both SATA power cables. The packaging was mint, although excessive and ultimately pointless. A velvet bag for the PSU itself has just been converted into a massive dice bag. The dual pouch bag for the cables at least has some use to store the extra cables not currently in use.I sure as heck wouldn't buy this at full price, but I wouldn't hesitate to get one at the sale price if I needed one.

Cons: Cables not malleable, motherboard connector's pins are too tight and requires high force to push in completely.

Pros: Fully modular, sturdy case construction, quiet, good warranty.
Comment:
I purchased this PSU because it's fully modular and because of the Seasonic brand. The box contains nice accessories. Very quiet. The cables are hard to bend, however.

Cons: If you like full tower cases, I find most cable to be on the short side, I would have longer cables or either extensions.ATX power cable is divided in two plugs on the modular interface and was a bit hard to plug it, and cables are stiffs that's for sure.

Pros: Sleeved cableFully modularFan don't spin until a certain load is reached, great for noise.Overall package is the best I ever seen, nylon cable wrap, psu in a velvet bag, bag for storing unused modular cable
Comment:
My first seasonic and despite the cables being short and stiffs I feel I have a quality unit in my hand, from the package to the unit itself you know it's from a company that cares about its products. Five year warranty is plenty for me. And there where no buzzing noise from the power supply when it was in silent mode (under a certain load I don't recall). If you have a full tower case, you should order at least a 8pin extension and a ATX wouldn't be too much if cable management is important. Still that's my fault for not looking this up before so it's still a 5/5 from me.

Cons: I have a bottom mount case so the logo is hidden.

Pros: Replaced my old no name PS with this. Easy to install and very quiet at low power. My whole system runs quieter now.
Comment:
This is my first modular PS and I love the fact that it has so many options. I have a Cooler Master HAF 912 and had no problems routing cables. The large four pin fan connectors can be a little tricky but nothing to serious and the cables are a little stiff but not unruly. All in all I would buy this PS again.

Cons: Cables a bit stiff.

Pros: Very quiet, dead silent most of the time.
Comment:
The unit doesn't produce any noice when the power requirement isn't there. When used for general emailing, document editing, watching videos and internet surfing, there is no noise produced at all.If you value silence, this is a good compromise since it also has a fan that activates once temperature or load increases beyond a certain level.

It's a quality product. It's easy to see why lots of companies like to have Seasonic build their power supplies for them. Donj
