I bought this to be utilized on my CPU/heatsink.The cool transparent fan blades, I can see right by means of to my copper heatsink. I hope it comes back in stock, lead to am going to get extras. Good deal! Really loud if utilised with out a fan control. After accidentally snapping off the retention bracket on my AMD AM2 although installing the stock fan/heatsink on my new mobo, I was out of luck searching for a replacement bracket, and so I purchased a brand name 'hiper group' copper heatsink, and also bought this 80mm Aerocool fan. The cooling temps are awesome with my new copper heatsink and this great fan.

1st off, let me just say WOW these issues move air. I purchased two of these for a consumers system, and they push a lot more air then the 120mm AeroCool fans I have. Past that, great looks, top quality construction, nice price. Loud, but what do you anticipate from a 80mm hurricane? As usual AeroCool is maintaining me pleased, and keeping my systems cool. =)

They move a lot of air. This fan has two modes: Loud with lots of air moving, or loud with small air moving. When I play games or run more intense apps, I turn the fans up. But, when I attempt to turn them down, they make an annoying buzzing noise. It is unbearable. I will in all probability have to get new fans...

This must be Thee most highly effective cooling/exhaust fan that you can place into your Pc!! This thing moves A-LOT of air and Quick!!, a lot more than I expected or could hope for. It is cooling down my RAM,HDD,MOBO,and X800 GTO at the same time!! I'm questioning if my exhaust can retain up with all the air stress in my case!! This is a excellent price tag as you most likely won't require much more than 1 of these Terrible Boys! Excellent Buy! Yes, it is a bit noisy unless you're playing music/ or I game alot and you can't hear it more than the speakers. If not, you may possibly want to put your case on the floor or below your desk if the sound of a travel-sized hair dryer in your ear may well be annoying lol- for genuine! I just ordered the Black CoolerMaster Centurion ATX Case which has a spot for an 80mm fan in the front in which I believe this fan would be ideal for that application.

Moves a lot of air, 3 to 4 adapter incorporated sounds like somebody left the vaccum running at the finish of the hall. I bought these for my new technique, but don't have all the components yet. So I decided to put two of them in my old system to see how a lot of a difference it tends to make. It was big. The quantity of air that these items push is amazing. I was just going to use 3, one for case venting, one for fresh air vent on the cpu and 1 for the cpu itself, but now I want additional...

I have my P4 three.0E overclocked to three.6 and this fan replaced the TR2TT TR2-M12 heatsink fan. My temps are a steady 31C/ 87F ! Some say it's loud, but it doesn't bother me, it does it's job really nicely! Adore it

Packs a punch at air flow. This tiny one particular puts the Tornado to shame in a lot more levels than 1. The building is merely acceptable. The plastic casing is seriously thin and could break if tighten too substantially. I suggest you prethread the holes just before you really install this fan. It is rather loud at full speed. Envision a compact handheld vacuum when you hear this fan. However, if your motherboard adjusts the speed then the noise is just background noise. 1 point thats annoying is that the blades are not all that balanced and it causes a helicopterlike sound at idle. I moved my Pc's contents to a new tower and decided to attempt 2 of these. The noise just requires receiving applied to. If you program acquiring these and hook them to a fan controller to decrease noise, then get the Vantec Stealth. The noise on this fan disapears at the similar RPM that the Sealth speens with no a controller.

Review Date: 05/03/13
Move TONS of air. none I am allowed to handle my fan speed in BIOS and this tends to make the noise definitely disappear. If you have the fan controller disabled, the fans will run at complete speed and yes, they are extremely loud. Turn them down a notch and they are extremely pleasant and straightforward to withstand.

Working with this fan in a notebook cooling pad...voltage on usb is five volts and this fan produces superb cfm. Previously utilised on a gaming rig at a full 12v with a fan controller to quell the noise.I have been working with this fan for two years, no sign of failure. This badboy makes some noise at complete tilt BUT with an adjustable fan speed controller you can custom tailor it to your wants.

Review Date: 04/18/13
This fan operates and feels like it could effectively be moving each and every bit of 52.80 cfm of air. For a Dell xps 400 񢉕 construct), there is not substantially air flow beyond the CPU cooler and I am hopeful this will make my video cards final longer than the 12 to 14 months they last now. Set up was simple. Thread the screws initially or use zip ties. Newegg reviewers warn it is loud but I didn't consider 45 dbA was all that loud so I wanted to check it with a db meter and share the specs. My radiosnack db meter says the back of my case reads in the mid 80 db range behind the back of the fan when the fan is inserted and tightly bound to the back of the case. There are other fans about but this being smaller and quicker has a higher pitch whine that most likely tends to make it appear even louder than it is. The back of the case was about 60 db prior to install so I consider this is substantial. To me, it sounds like a vacuum cleaner outside the office in the hallway. Not obnoxious - but fairly sure it's far more than 45.six dbA as stated in the X-blaster specs. This is not a complaint but rather an attempt to overview the item, which is rated at 4000 rpm, 52.eight cfm, and 45.six dbA. Even though I have it fastened tightly with all 4 screwz, it is loud. On the other hand, I knew it in advance and it may well lessen and I may well get utilised to it. If it saves my video card, then I will just turn the music up. Lastly considering that I can not monitor any temps, I purchased fixed rpm fans. This fan is appropriately named "blaster" and I am maintaining it on my machine.

this issue move the air incredibly incredibly nicely, cooled my case and CPU by three to six C, I'm getting two more for an exaust and intake. incredibly loud! extremely extremely loud, but with any halfway decente fan controller, the noise is cut in by 2Ǚ, on low settings I get excellent air flow and no a lot more noise than the other fans in my case, but on higher....WHAT DID YOU SAY, I CAN'T Here YOU ;) excellent air flow is worth the noise, and I hold them on low unless I'm gaming or encoding video and such. five eggs for newegg and 5 eggs for the fan well worth the price tag.

Review Date: 03/19/13
move lots of air noisey, make certain you have a way to control them, I anticipated them to be noisey I believe my personal computer may take off

Review Date: 03/09/13
Does Move Like it says. Did bring temps down a couple degrees. These are really loud. I got applied to them immediately after a while, but whoa. Did give the cooling I hoped for but they did enable. Need a case with flow to begin with or fans won't help significantly.

Review Date: 03/05/13
i have 3 of them and they hold the technique at 26degees Cat idle niosy but i don't care i purchased these in mind for cooling rather of maintaining a quiet method loves these

Review Date: 02/21/13
Wonderful Fan does specifically what it says i will. That is moves tons of air As others have mentioned its really loud sounds like a plane taking off but hey if you cant afford liquid cooling thats the value you pay to retain it cool

Review Date: 02/10/13
two of these keep my processor at five degrees above space temp! These issues move alot of air! Yeah, 50+CFM out of an 80mm fan is gonna be loud, DEAL WITH IT! I also have a 120mm ᥆+CFM and 2 sets of 5.25" vents in the front. I have the assinine passive cooling 7600GT's and they are about 60C and one particular of these fans dropped the VGA temps to 55C...Rockin!

Review Date: 02/05/13
It moves alot of air and genuinely keeps my computer cool. I bought two of these for the back to replace old ones. Fantastic obtain, and a actually excellent contructed fan. Would obtain this fan once more if I construct one more computer system. Excellent packaging and plugs proper into motherboard. Alittle loud but the additional air you move the louder it will be. That's what the fan is mad for, to move air. Excellent fan

Review Date: 01/26/13
Moves plenty of air just like I wanted. none If you want fans that will be quiter you could as properly acquire the ones that place out half as substantially air for half the cost. Lower air output indicates much less noise.

Review Date: 01/25/13
Moves a lot of air, doesn't expense considerably, doesn't have LED's (a plus IMHO). It isn't silent. This fan isn't what I would contact loud. It tends to make noise, but it moves a extremely huge volume of air. If you want to appreciate that this fan has a hum, but not a roar, listen to a Sun*n for about 5 minutes, or even superior, a V*nt*c Tornado. You will believe you are in heaven with this fan following hearing these, and I'm not kidding. My Sun*n sounded like a truck was going through the residence and it wasn't broken - it was just loud (which is a characteristic of higher CFM fans). There could be better fans or quieter fans than this a single, but you not at this cost.

Review Date: 01/04/13
Moves alot of air... as expected. I've owned it for more than a year with no concerns. I can hear my Computer from outside my creating and also from a floor above. Strategy on junking it quickly since I'm utilizing the Computer as an HTPC.

Review Date: 12/30/12
Really great fan. Sucks in a lot of air. My situation has somewhat of a funnel in the front bezel to permit air from beneath the case to go in and the fan slot was empty so i put this in there. It draws a lot of air even by means of that significantly less than optimal funnel. This fan truly seems to shine at obtaining air via areas that would take a effective fan to get good airflow by means of. It came with decent mounting screws. For the price tag you can't go incorrect. The only con i can believe of is it didn't come with a sticker, but it's just a fan. The cable is so long that it could simply get from one particular finish of a total tower to the other. I ended up in fact making use of cable management even with it mostly curled up. Could be a pro or a con based on how major your case is.I like stickers and would have liked to get one particular with my incredibly good fan.

Review Date: 12/19/12
Moves a lot of air... If you have heat problems.. This fan can resolve your troubles. It dropped the temps on my Computer by eight C Loud, but lives up the defined specs. Don't kid oneself, this fan is loud. If you want a rather Computer, this fan is not for you.
