Properly-created and sturdy caseIncredibly compact with decent energy supplyCan use lightweight laptop tough drive and optical drive to save space and weightPower supply a lot more than adequate for dual-core and mid-variety video card Case does NOT have a half-height expansion card slot for PCI or PCI-E cards. The case is not tall sufficient for half-height and the instructions state that the shield has to be removed from hte card to set up it. My GT220 half-height with face shield removed sticks up 1ǚ inch higher than the case and hence I can not place on the case cover and close the case. The case and energy supply is additional than adequate for the hardware and my Computer has run nicely in the case for various days WITH THE COVER REMOVED. It must be noted in the description that it cannot accept half-height cards though it would be a great case for an nVidia ION mini ITX motherboard or other motherboard with onboard graphics. Manufacturer Response:The X-Match-one hundred is the smallest mini-ITX case on the marketplace. It will match cards up to 55mm in height and you would have to take away the shield in order for the card to match in the case.

Little case for htpc. Probably the smallest you could get that will fit a little kind-aspect video card and dvd drive in. Nice black finish (but scratches effortlessly). With a tiny tweaking, it's a incredibly nice setup that fits in smaller areas and packs lots of power. I utilized a core2 duo with 775-pin motherboard and the fan is suitable under the best air intake. No reset button. Paint scratches very easily. Poor placement of energy provide (see beneath). Challenging drive mount is in between power supply and cdrom. There is room toward back of case even though to have it "float" in the case. Mine is held up with just the cables going to it. It's an ssd so it doesn't vibrate that way. I prefer it there instead so it gets far better cooling and won't block air flow to the PS.Minus one egg for negative PS bracket placement. I bought this case to location behind my wall-mounted television. I have just enough space back there to make it match so now wires are showing. It gets truly hot although with just the tiny ྾mm?) powers provide fan running, so I added a fan. It says a 60mm fan will match so I purchased a 60mm x 10mm fan which is incredibly thin, but it wouldn't match mainly because the energy supply mounting bracket was in the way. I was in a position to make it match by dremeling away component of the fan shroud, and also had to cut away component of the energy supply bracket with some metal cutters. The part I reduce off was fully excessive metal and doesn't have an effect on the mounting stability at all. Now the case appears to run cooler, and the tiny power provide fan isn't often operating at full speed.I haven't attempted adding a low-kind element video card, but believe that Apevia is right, saying that 55mm card will match without bracket.

the outside of the box is nicely created and the energy supply seems good; if you don't have any want for a greater expansion board this would be very good. Measure meticulously, the box has a lot more space than the truly modest ones, but it's nonetheless a tight fit for some requires. I purchased this ahead of my other components arrived; undesirable idea due to the fact the height of this is low and the Zotac ION board is as well tall for it; even if it were tall enough, my blueray rammed rup right to the back of the Zotac board so that I could not plug in the cables in the back because there was no space involving the ION board and the back of the blueray since the cables were on the far appropriate side (when hunting at the back of the drive); if the cables were much more in the middle then it would have worked ok. I have no thought how an individual could mound the half height drive in there underneath the blue ray--it's tight; plus it would get some heat from the energy supply sitting correct on it, so I mounted my SSD memory drive horizontally in the back using a drill and some screws. Right after cutting the box up and attempting to make it operate--this did not function for me. I'm going to get a larger box. I personally would not advise this box if you are going to use any big expansion board. The on-off button is very loose. I extremely advocate a blueray or CD Rom drive that has the cables in the middle or left side (when searching at it from the rear of the drive)--not the far appropriate (toward the wall) since you will ram proper into your expansion slot. The height of this is low with only two.1" of breakout hole in the back panel--measure careful if you want to use the expansion board.

-Size, it's compact but also has an expansion slot. You must use a low profile pci express card and so far no one knows which ones fit.-It consists of all the screws required to mount the tough drive.-It contains the cables for a slim drive. This Is the tiny cable that has the tiny sata and power connector. It's not a typical size cable so this was far more of a relief to find. I checked at the local electronics store and they didn't even have this cable just before I received the case. So again, it was nice to uncover it in the bag of stuff.-It was the most affordable a single I could come across for the size. I wanted the smallest case I could get with space for a pci x card. I'm glad I did simply because now I will have to uncover a sata card to make use of that e-sata front port when I determine to use it. Much more on the cons. This only depends on what the case comes with and due to the lack of sata connectors on my board as you will see.-The leading opens smoothly following removing each of the rear modest thumbs -Hard drive has to be mounted upside down and it's appropriate amongst the power provide and the cd rom. The only thing keeping the cd rom from touching the bottom of the hard drive is the screw that sits on the side of the difficult drive, which in this case is above the drive. Also the cd rom screw on the side.-The side rear hole for the cd drive does not line up with the drive. This is the major of the 3 holes. You will know which one particular I'm talking about if you get this. This could be 1 or two mm higher. Due to the fact it wasn't I had to force this in. The screw from the hd prevents this from lining up. And you want maintain that screw on to stop the drive from moving and the cd rom from touching it. I didn't want to make the hole larger. I figured the drive bracket ought to bend down a tiny bit. It worked but it's a tight fit. After this, the drive was far better aligned and didn't looked off on the front panel. I left the rear side screw out of the cd rom 1st, but the drive just sort of stuck out of Other thoughts...I like the case, but you can nevertheless go with a smaller case if you don't want to add a pci card. Personally, I don't care to pay a lot more than thirty bucks for a case simply because they're just dust collectors anyway. This one particular is a bit on the longer but not so wide side of issues which functions fine for my tiny desk now. I also got mine elsewhere to same on shipping and tax.

Nice compact little size. Power supply died on the third power up. Apevia will not RMA components directly and demand you to go through the distributor. The slot on the back is slightly shorter than a normal half-height slot. Returning. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA via us for the power supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are nonetheless below our warranty period. You can get in touch with Apevia's consumer service at service@apevia.com or call at 鿍) 718-0789. We attempt to reply to all calls and e-mails as soon as we can.

Little footprint. 250 watts PSU. Best component of the front cover created of really thin plastic. PSU fan quite loud. HDD is located suitable on leading of the PSU and gets genuinely hot. Expansion slot is unusable (manual says you can\'t install the shield i.e. the bracket of an expansion card). Low profile cards wouldn't fit even without having the bracket. No provision to install extra case fans. Leading vent misaligned for Socket 1156 boards. I feel this board was only created for use with the atom boards, but why put a 250W for an atom board? Why put an expansion slot that cannot be utilized? On the front left side of the case are vents with mounting holes for 2 40mm fans but none of them could be utilized. One is blocking the AC energy cord of the PSU and the other one gets in the way of the HDD installation. On the front correct side of the case are vents with mounting holes for a 60mm fan but is also unusable because it gets in the way of the best cover. You can either leave the best case open or eliminate the hook that clamps the leading cover to the case. The cooling method for this case will only be the 40mm fan from the PSU and the CPU fan which is misaligned from the best vent.
