Room for full ATX Mobo. with full height video card.two - 5.25 Drive baysregions for additional fans.comes w/ a 500w power provideSolid Construction with good gloss paint.Uncomplicated to get your stuff in and out of. (considering its an HTPC Case) see Other Thoughts.Pleanty of locations to get air by way of the case.Fans an PSU are fairly quiet The paint chips simply. (just be carefull)my parts bag was two stand offs and two screws brief for mounting a complete ATX mobo. (wierd, I would have included to a lot of components) The blue energy light is "the surface of the sun" bright. (just like everybody else says) This genuinely is a wonderful case for the value. and because i applied spare components from "older" computer systems the capacity to place in elements from "mid tower" cases is extremely handy. I was fully expecting to have to pull the complete case apart ot get every little thing in there but to my suprise i didn't have to, just the leading, bottom and front had to come off and that was enough access to do almost everything. now don't get me wrong it's tight but it all functions. The ability to get air by way of it is good due to the fact i didn't go acquire all new "quiet" elements.

Got case quickly - go Newegg Power provide DOA. Attempted to e-mail Newegg that I would prefer replacement power supply, but got RMA for replace. Now I am stuck with return shipping, which is steep, plus no guarentee replacement will not have dead power provide. Newegg should study RMA requests. Manufacturer Response:It is feasible that the energy provide was turned off by default at factory. If you have not already carried out so, eliminate the front panel and check to make positive that the power switch is set to the on ( | ) position.

Fine hunting desk top rated, properly completed case. Appears excellent. Build took 20 minutes, quite convenient case. The PSU power switch is behind the front panel. I completed the build then was stymied by the lack of the switch. I under no circumstances found the reference in the documentation. I came back to to the user evaluations to locate the location.

Not to substantially I liked about this case from the starting. I did use the smaller fans in yet another construct for cooling the challenging drives in my WHS. I had the all black version, but it is still the exact same case. It may possibly be excellent for a construct working with a mini itx or for a desktop. The case looked good, but did not like getting to tear apart front cover to get Blu-Ray drive in location. The case was nicely constructed and it looked good for the quick time I had it up and operating. I guess it depends on what you are developing and exactly where you program to place the completed system as I had overheating troubles from day 1. I am giving two eggs based strickly for Newegg and their fast delivery and buyer satisfaction as it has been superior to all others in the business. This was my mistake to obtain this case for the variety develop I planned to use it for. I had so many fans running that it sounded like a blow dryer. Power provide was replaced from the initially week. Initially two of the sata energy plugs died ,then the 12v rail went out. When I initial got this case, a fellow reviewer warned that the first issue to do was to replace the energy provide. Had continual overheating challenges. Cut my hands up on the sharp edges even though attempting to install a matx board due to size limitations. I know that all circumstances are sharp, but I just could not get adequate area inside to work with my hands. Tossed the case in the trash following about a month. Also if you put this in an entertainment center , you may well reduce out the back if it has a single. I think that was an challenge with most of my overhaeating troubles considering that I have completely removed the back of my cabinet on the side with all of my A/V equipment. With all of the products inplace, you cant see the back of the cabinet anyway. Case was bought mainly due to expense limitations at the time of my make. If you are going to obtain a HTPC case, make confident you don't make the mistake I produced. Obtain one particular that is large adequate to support an Atx board and a huge video card. If that is what you are looking to do. This will give you options for upgrades. Also I have identified that chambered HTPC situations perform very best considering that most of them end up in cabinets with other A/V gear. The heat from each and every compartment is exhausted out through the rear. I have 3 circumstances like this and the are the ideal in my opinion. Also give it a lot of breathing room and try not to block the back. I have a new case that is about the size of my AV receiver and it appears wonderful with my program set up. It is thicker than most ,but it has been a dream and will assistance an Atx board and a massive video card with no difficulty. I paid a considerable amount for it, but it was effectively worth the hassle cost-free installation and looks so substantially additional specialist. It is also H20 cooled and that tends to make all the difference. No additional hair dryer in my media space.

Cost When I Get My Rebate Verify, Fits Each ATX and Micro ATX Motherboards, Quite Decent Cooling for a HTPX Case With Areas For Two 120MM or 92MM Fans, Involves Two 60MM Fans Difficult Drive Mounting, Lack Of three 1ǘ Bays, Energy Provide Setup, Apevia Says a 8800GTS Will Fit and it won't Really Good Case But Take Your Time! Case has excellent finish but a little be for a HTPC. A ATX motherboard fits but be careful on your selection of Video card, MOST Video cards that require two Slots WILL NOT Fit, Also get your personal PSU

speedy shipping from NewEgg. Power provide unit was DOA, and yes, the secret energy switch behind the front cover was turned on. Now I have to spend for return shipping of a defective solution. I would question QA for releasing a defective product. I would assume twice in getting a different solution from the manufacturer.

Got the case for โ; hopefully, will get ษ MIR to make a ษ case. The quality of the case is greater than what I expected. All ATX screw holes are in-location. Nice HDD layouts. Believed the clear plastic fans would glow (bad as a HTPC setup) but they don't, great! Energy provide is low high quality; you will require a backup given that it will quickly fail on you. Power LED is as well bright (I left it unplug). Be cautious open front plastic face, the energy, reset, USB, audio wires can snap off fairly very easily. Kinda tight fitting a mATX, 650W PSU, GTX460 card, SSD, HDD, two CD drives but they match. I added further two 120 mm fans on the sides for ventilation. This case is a steal for ษ.

Newegg rocks - RMA was smooth and I got my funds back. The one star is for that...the solution deserves stars I initially attempted to get manufacturer to replace power provide beneath warranty, because case looked decent. Following numerous emails, the client assistance guy refused to believe energy provide could be dead. I gave up and RMA'ed the case With this sort of consumer service, I intend to permanently stay away from Apevia. I even told the guy that i would return case if he did not address energy supply issue, and he did not seem to care Manufacturer Response:We try to make certain that the power provide is undesirable just before issuing an RMA. If it is dead and nevertheless covered below the warranty period, then we honor it and do an exchange.

Good styling! USB ports in the front are handy. Power provide has sufficient oomph to power lots of peripherals but is still quiet. Plenty of mobo space and expansion card space. Feels sturdy and has great circulation. Only 2 SATA energy plugs. Also, only two HDD bays and no simple way to mount a difficult drive in one particular of the larger bays. The rear fans it comes with are quite noisy and are continually on. Not a massive deal, but type of a bummer for a HTPC case. Substantially longer than I expected This case has a good modest front to it, but it tends to make that up in length. It dosent conveniently match in my Tv stand, but thats my fault for not measuring initially. Does everything a case need to do and does it nicely with no considerably fuss. Manufacturer Response:There are in fact three internal three.five" drive spots (four if you count the external drive bay). Aside from the one clear bay next to the external bays, you can also mount a drive to either of the two vents if you do not set up a fan in those slots.

Fantastic price tag when I got in sale, decent look The PSU ultimately failed after a month and a half, quite unstable energy and it damaged other elements such as video card and cpu by the time that I realized that it was the psu itself.Named for RMA but I will have to spend for shipping and as properly have to ship first the PSU and wait for a replacement. Just asking yourself if it may possibly be worth specially thinking about that the PSU would be in all probability the same good quality It seemed a good deal at the time, but following obtaining to cover the expense of replacing the video card, the CPU and the headache of RMA of the PSU it does not look that appealing.Almost certainly the best way to consider about this item is to take into account just the case itself and organizing to purchase a separate PSU

Good style Case arrived DOA Manufacturer Response:If you are referring to the power supply, please make positive that the unit is flipped to the on ( | ) position before declaring it DOA as it is achievable that it was shipped turned off by default. You would need to have to take away the front panel to make sure.

Good layout and appear of case. Shiny black appears excellent from any angle. Quite cool and quiet operation. Fragile! Plastic front face was broken off at the mounting pins. Had to epoxy the pins back onto face and set for 24 hours. Not truly manufacturer fault, more shipping fault. Was quite annoying in any case. General I genuinely like. It does what I will need and does it nicely.

I was seeking for a low cost media center case and identified this 1. Good worth particularly with the included 500W PSU. Fans are quite quiet, I can barely inform that it is on. Effortless access by means of the best panel, also like the 5,25" slides. Blue energy LED in front is quite vibrant. Energy switch on PSU is on the front (have to open front panel) and somewhat tough to locate. Could be why other men and women thought they had DOA PSUs, I know I did for until I located the switch...

Wonderful case. I will use it once again for the next time I develop an HTPC. Looks good and has a two fantastic places to put 1 or 2 120 mm fans to retain it cool. If you don't use the spots for the fans you can place a HD there. The drive slots perform well with their rails. Instruction manual doesn't go into much detail, but if you have constructed a handful of computer systems ahead of it shouldn't be much of a challenge.Only comes with two sets of drive rails but it has 3 bays. I named help@apevia.com and they would sell me a set of 2 rails for 4 dollars, but it need to come with enough drive rails. Consumer help was very friendly.

500W Power supply, relatively straightforward assembly, nice appear, really quiet Practically no top ventilation, only one particular challenging drive bay, power LED is literally BLINDING (I unplugged it so I could sleep in the dark), equipped rear fans plug into PSU via molex, not significantly area to add fans I'm using this for my HTPC and to residence my Windows 7 RC machine. There is no ventilation on the top rated of the case (or the side, based on how you have it sitting) and it gets actually hot when the CPU is below a load of any kind (fried eggs everyone?). The two case fans it comes with plug into the power provide, rather than into the motherboard (an easy repair, I know) and run at a constant speed, rather than varying with the demand. The power LED (as other people have mentioned) is so absurdly vibrant that my bedroom walls glow blue at evening (I unplugged it, as I pointed out). It functions, and it's inexpensive, but quite honestly, I wouldn't suggest it. Manufacturer Response:There is really space for three hard drives in the case (four if you count the external 3.5" drive bay). You can mount difficult drives on the two side vents if you do not wish to place fans there.

I have 4 other Apevia circumstances and have truly had no concerns beyond possibly a PSU going in one particular of them so I decided to pick this up. It fits nicely with other devices I have, cable box, Xbox.. my very first HTPC develop and thought the case was perfect for this setup. Have not had any challenges with it seriously, the PSU design and style is strange as a cable runs from the PSU in the front to the back of the case but this does not result in any cabling problems with the setup. Only room for 1 internal HD, I have a 750gig in mine but it would have been nice to have more for expandability.

A seriously overall low profile case. If your hunting to for a thing that wont hurt your wallet, and a case that is low in profile then this is one particular for you. you have to get rid of the exhaust fans just to set up the motherboard, not a large deal. It comes with a energy supply that works, which is truly good, other folks have had troubles with this psu, but so far I haven't. This power supply isn't meant for gaming!

- Large Size: I have a MicroATX board in it and there is a lot of room. I could very easily put 4-five really hard drives in this case.- Energy Provide is a plus: It is quiet and supplies enough energy for my setup- The front audio, USB, and Firewire ports are appreciated- The Drive Bay door worked without having any modifications- Integrated Case Fans: They work fine and are quiet (for now)- Every thing is fairly accessible and cable routing was a breeze- Airflow is good due to the additional space - Bright blue LED power light; other individuals are not exaggerating- Case (Paint, Sheet Metal, and Front Cover) all feel and look cheap- Slightly bigger than it wants to be (Don't actually want full ATX for a HTPC case)- Only came with about half of the standoffs required for microATX (had to purchase a computer screw kit which was upsetting due to the fact I had to wait one more 3 days to start my construct). You get what you pay for right here. At the price tag and with the included power provide I wasn't expecting a high excellent case (and neither must you). Nonetheless, I was looking for a easy/economical case that would be uncomplicated to setup and I was disappointed.

Inexpensive case. Somewhat quiet. It's just what I needed for HTPC. Adequate room to perform with and took me just under 2 hours to get it setup and working. It came with a very good size PSU for my EVGA 730i mobo and the blue LED goes with with the blue lights on the mobo too. Appears good! I had to purchase a separate 4pin to 8pin 12V energy adapter. The PSU cpu power is 4pin and my mobo (EVGA 730i) is 8pin. The adapter cost me an further four bucks. Wish the power button isn't just a inexpensive plastic hunting factor and the power symbol on the power button light up blue as an alternative of a separate blue light below the button. My DVD player tray gets stuck on it's way out and retracting. Requirements greater design on the dvd cover plate. With ฟ rebate and ű.99 special on shipping, I'm very content with the result. Newegg is awesome :D
