The case is fantastic! The 2 fans that comes with the case sure gets most of the heat out of the case, also there is 2 optional fans if you sit the case horizontally!!a single additional 90mm fan and the HD on the other side, where there is lots of air!!!The 500watt power provide, its okay, but not the greatest, there is no video card pins accessible! but not adequate to sacrifice 1 egg! Noce, for this price tag variety!!

Cheapest horizontal case that will fit a full sized Motherboard. Power supply does every little thing I require. Energy provide is riveted down so it will be exciting to take out in a couple years to replace. Case is cramped. Would be a lot nicer with a psu that let you plug cables into it simply because it is complete of cable by the time you get performed. Not perfect but if its what you want you possibly wont uncover superior.

Good glossy finish, incredibly quite case. About as little as you can get and nonetheless enable full size components. Which tends to make it fantastic for turning your old computer parts into a media center. Lots of airflow attainable for case this size. One particular of my fans rattle. 8800gt is an insanely tight squeeze, even although it particularly says it will match. Fundamentally no way to take energy connector on or off right after putting the card in.

Fantastic finish on the paint, effortless to disasemble. Excellent wire managment. Comes with energy supply that is sleeved. Fitting my Geforce 7800 Card was a small tight and it tends to divide the computer in half. I will need to have to put a exhaust fan by the CPU to keep it cool in the cabinet I have it in. But it is a little type issue! Good seeking case500w ps Fan is on leading when in desktop orientation, would be nice is fax was on side or on top in tower orientation Came to me damaged. face plate prongs had been broken. screws and parts were loose in case mainly because the case was bounced so really hard the screws broke out of the bag that was tied to the 5.25 bay. That had to have been a hard drop to do that. At his point I can almost guarantee any case I order will be bent or broke from shipping

Substantial, sleak looking case. Lots of area to property everthing I put in it. Power supply operates great. Followed directions to eliminate front panel and several of the inexpensive plastic clips broke off. Could be additional tough or developed greater. Will have to "rig" the front case to be held collectively properly. Other reviews spoke of the bright blue LED on the front. Though it is bright and somewhat distracting as my property theater Computer (in a dark area) I feel other people suggestion of putting a resistor just before the LED would appropriate the dilemma.

- Very spacious- Adequate PSU with wrapped cables- Fans incorporated- Sexy- holes for two 120 mm fans- SILENT, however doesn't overheat - Rear dual fans hardly move air. Yes, they're silent, but they're hardly blowing something. In spite of this, the airflow seems to be adequate I have an E5200 connected to a gigabyte g42 micro-atx mobo in this case, and every little thing fits genuine nice (you can match a complete-size atx if you want... I attempted that and it fits properly but cable management gets bothersome). Overclocked the E5200 to three.33 GHz 鵊 MHz FSB x 12.5 multiplier) making use of the STOCK COOLER and the case temps under no circumstances go above 42 celsius (E5200 temps keep at 47 degrees). That's with the stock fans in the case and no 120 mm fans attached to the side vents, and a fairly hot ࿡ degrees), 3-yr-old GeForce 7600GT attached. Will be acquiring a 120 mm fan to put in 1 vent, to get it a bit cooler, but the current temperature circumstance is fine by me.I hugely suggest this case.

Nice look, runs quietly. For those that went to the effort of covering up the power LED - just unplug the cable from the motherboard, performing so won't hurt anything. The guidelines have been a tiny unclear on exactly where to place the mounting brackets on the DVD drive to function and cable management is an problem. The power cables are longer than they necessary to be. But it's better than not becoming extended enough! It's a good setup. The "negatives" are what I get in touch with "nuisance" difficulties, nothing of any actual significance.

Sexy hunting situation. Comes with pre-set up 500W energy provide and 2x80mm fans. Lots of area for hard drives. See other thoughts. The energy supply doesn't come out. (Down a star just for that.)Had to look around for a location to place the challenging drives, but located it soon after a while.Poor gluing job relating to the power button.Blue LED is absolutely bright. Were I to buy yet another MoBo, a Micro ATX board to go with this a lot greater than total ATX.MAKE Certain that you get a smaller sufficient graphics card to match in right here.

Conceptually the case has a excellent style. It fits complete-size motherboards and has space for two HDD's and two optical drives mounted vertically (who demands more than that?) The PSU gives adequate power for typical demands. I take pleasure in the appear of the case. As you may have read, the energy LED is extremely bright. I disconnected it. Also, graphics cards are Very tight inside the case. I have an 8800 GT which BARELY fits in. The PSU seems it could potentially be pushed far more forward to give about a different inch or two of space for a graphics card.PSU failed right now... bought on 8ቸ񳏉... time for an RMA. Soon after about four months of ownership the power provide failed last evening and will not energy up. Will be calling Apevia for RMA.

- Nice COLOR- STURDY- Price tag JUST Right- Involves SHIELDED 500W Power Supply- Good AIRFLOW- Consists of TWO CASE FANS - THE LAYOUT OF THE CASE INSIDE IS NOT Excellent (the energy provide and the case fan needs to be removed to really have the space to really feel comfy putting in the other parts) - WHEN I SEE ATX MEDIA CENTER/ HTPC CASE, I PICTURED Some thing ALOT Smaller sized THAN AN ATX CASE...Maybe SOMEKIND OF HYBRID ATX/MINI ATX CASE BUT NO Total SIZE...

Let's see..looks,the gloss black is good the moment you wipe your finger prints off of it, you can get a color to match your decor, the 500w energy provide, the ATX board size, space for all of you componets, 2 integrated 80mm fans and area for two 120mm,front ports for usb, 1394, audio, exellent air flow, comprehensive directions, and most inportant, it doesn't look like a computer system case, everybody who's noticed it ask "what is the blue factor" and that is just the response I was searching for from this unit, I've looked for a fantastic HTPC situation for allmost a year, and this fits my bill, looks- great...good quality....great...cost...this factor screams "buy me"...if you're searching for a HTPC situation this is the one particular to get. the gloss paint collects fingerprints, when i pluged up the front audio header, the rear audio ports stopped operating, but that's a motherboard(on board audio) If you price tag HTPC circumstances and compair the high quality of this, with the 500w energy supply, you'll wonder how can they sell them at this price tag....save oneself the difficulty..but two or 3 prior to the cost goes up.

gets the job carried out for me. power provide worked, only 1 sata energy connector, the front pcb which holds the usb ports and firewire port was loose and i had to mount in to the case, a lot much more challenging to put with each other than a lian-li situation, but a fraction of the price. for less expensive machines i would definately buy again or a machine that doesnt need to have to be changed out a lot.

-Plently of room, specifically if you set up a Micro ATX motherboard-the fans are above typical- the PSU, 500 Watt, is pretty quiet since it makes use of One particular 120mm fan , as an alternative of noisy dual fans. Also, the PSU is pretty strong-Uncomplicated optical drive mounting-Wires can be placed beneath the optical drive bay for "cleanliness"-cost is fantastic - If you place the tough drives anywhere other than the side vents (the vents exactly where a 120 MM fan is optional), it would possibly die quickly..since there's certainly no air flow for them there.- scratches effortless and a lot of, many fingerprints-annoiying blue led led that can be fixed with a black tape or black piece of paper - Despite it's con's, i'd still get the HTPC because it provides each a very good PSU and a HTPC- style case for the Right cost.

Incredible look. It doesn't look like a Computer, which is exactly what I was lookign for in a HTPC. Lots of expanstion slots. Excellent air-flow. Compact, but huge capacity. Sturdy contruction. The only purpose this case got a 4 for me was the following: It may possibly be my board but it is a small tight inside up against the energy provide. there is only 1 slot for an Internal HDD and it is quite tight, slightly concerned about cooling. the front Energy LED is retardedly vibrant. You need to paint it over with black or one thing. My program: AMD 64 4600+ 2.four GHz, 4 GB memory, 500 HDD, Blu-ray drive, DVD Burner, 64-in-1 Media Card reader, Pinnacle Tv Tuner. It all fits nicely in the situation as soon as cables were tied and tucked away.

Not a bad situation for the value it is. 1. When laying lengthy wise, to match my other audio equipment an item placed on leading causes the best door to concave and push against the heatsink. This would not be an situation if you applied a slime line heatsink, or if i appropriately wired the internals. minor concern thoughtwo. Power provide has an abundance of cords, i am utilizing it as a household theater pc, and the noise level created is perfectly acceptable. Nonetheless the additional cords do not hide and sit to the side extremely effectively. minor problem even thoughthree. Front power light is like a lighthouse in the dark. I only placed a square of electrical tap over the light to hide it. It is powerfully adequate to actually come by means of the tape so you can constantly inform. Main situation for watching movies, but easily fixed. 4. Cramped interior. Might be me, but my cpu and heatsink fit straight behind the pata bays. This lead to rather a bit of a headache trying to install the optical bay, as i had to tear the situation apart to get it in. important issue Overall, i am incredibly pleased i got the situation. It works excellent, and looks great with all my other equipment. (surround sound receiver, and dvd player, and tv) Would recommend for individuals searching for a case on the inexpensive to match your method, not a lan or heavy duty situation though. Set it and leave it.

This is my second Apevia Situation. The very first 1 was the green 1. As with the green 1, there is lots of space to stick a complete atx or in my case an matx board. Each instances are being utilized for a HTPC. On the sides of the case you can either add a couple of fans or you can add a couple of hard drives. With the tricky drives, IMHO, I would be leary of placing 1 on the side that the motherboard sits as the heat from the difficult drive could influence the CPU. This situation really came with instructions on how to mount everything. The initially case lack them. Now for the cons:The blue light is way to bright - need to have to figure how to tone it down or replace it.Based upon which light you place the situation under it can either be blue or a alter to a shade to purple and it is a finger magnet. I am enjoying my green situation and am giving this full HTPC case as a Christmas gift. The only point that I am worried about is I wish to place an Antec Multi-Station Elite Internal IR receiver w/ VFD in the situation and considering that it utilizes rails to install tricky drives and DVD players, I have but to figure out how to install this 1 in the case.

I read all the reviews just before I bought this and was a tiny concerned about some of the diffuclut set up problems. I read the directions and checked out the comprehensive instructions on the Apevia website. When the case arrived, I just followed the directions and had no complications. The Energy Provide sales for แ at Newegg with a 4 star rating so that tends to make it a wonderful situation for ฤ. It is beautiful. You won't be disappointed in this case as a HTPC. Yet again, Newegg supplied excellent shipping. I installed a Micro ATX that required 8 motherboard stand -offs. Like the reviews said, I came up 1 brief (only provided 7).

Nice searching situation, I love the coloer and the further cooling fans. Power provide is DOA! Not especially also pleased about having to do an RMA for the entire situation and possibly get yet another bad energy supply. Will contact the manufacturer to see if I can get the power supply replaced. Manufacturer Response:You can do an RMA by way of us for the energy supply to get an exchange on the PSU if you are still under our warranty period. I was utilizing a midsize tower in my entertainment center and it barely fit. This case is drastically smaller, but will fit a complete size ATX motherboard and you don't have to be too careful about the size of video card that you are installing like you do with some other HTPC situations. The energy provide seems to be fairly decent and the mesh sleeve around the cables is a nice touch. Create top quality seems good as all of the panels lined up properly and I don't hear any rattling coming from the case. As an additional reviewer talked about the power L.E.D. on the front of the case is Really bright! I put a little piece of black electrical tape more than it and solved that issue. Incredibly small airflow more than the hard drives and it's impossible to fit a difficult drive cooler onto them due to limited space. The two fans that exhaust out the rear of the case are terrible. I will say they are quiet, but move extremely slowly even though they use a four pin connector. Specifications lists only 1 internal three.5" drive bay. This isn't completely accurate. There are really two areas to place HDD out of sight not including the external 3.5" bay. The instructions that come in the box don't even mention it, but you should be in a position to figure it out if you've ever built a method just before. Also the two side vents on the side can be employed to mount extra HDD's if you desire. So fundamentally you could have 4 HDD's and an external card reader in the case if you wanted so don't let that be the cause you don't choose up this case affordable!

Looks wonderful and nearly silent Excellent airflow indicates the fans don't have to spin up substantially. A small tight in there, but not when compared to other HTPC cases. :) Case is uncomplicated to open and close. External 5.25" bay flip-down cover looks and performs wonderful. HDD LED fell out of front bezel during shipping (QC problem, but too effortless to repair to genuinely complain about). Power LED is Extremely bright, but that too was very easily remedied. Internal HDD bays tough to get to (drive mounts practically correct up against the back of the front jack panel). Short screwdriver necessary to mount anything in the external three.5" bay since the side panels are riveted in location. All in all, it's a bit of perform to get this factor installed when compared to a conventional tower... but it's worth it for the price, appearance, and overall performance.

Nice feel to the powerbutton, front cover pops off simply. Little, but no problem fitting full ATX MOBO. The expansion slot covers are perforated opo pffs, rather than ones that you screw on / off. That seemed a little chintzy. Pay attention to the size commentary. This is excellent for my will need: a method that can use built in graphics and play blue ray disks without having to place in a big graphics card. Massive graphics cards can be a nuisance, even in larger cases!Finding at the power supply and disk mounts was not even a minor nuisance. The front panel pops off with a stiff tug that is nicely documented in the accompanying booklet.

Fits an ATX motherboard no sweat. Believed by the photos that I'd require a low profile card, but it can handle complete size cards up to 9" in length. PSU comes with a 6 pin card connector also, so I guess if someone wanted to place together a spending budget gaming rig they could. Two 3.five" slots and two five.25" slots are excellent for my purpose, which is working with this as a media center. Didn't have to eliminate anything from the case to install an ATX motherboard, large plus for me. Instruction manual was easy to perform with and this is probably the initial build that I didn't have to go on the web to appear up directions that produced sense! May wind up choosing up some quiet 120mm fans to mount to the sides as there is an option for those as well. I truly like the style of this case. None really.
