Nice case, awesome fans and powersupply. I employed it for as my hometheater laptop and its higher so far. Air flow isn't also great, I have the two 80mm stock fans in the back as outtakes and added a 120mm and 80mm on the side as intakes and I'm finding 40C on each CPU and Technique Temp Quite good case, defiantly would recommend

Tiny Footprint, Good Appear (bought for wife and she loves it). Decent construction. Red is essentially a metallic deep pink color as other reviewers had mentioned. This is my sixth Aspire/Apevia case and I have yet to be disappointed with a single yet. Great quality, appear and worth. PSU mounting location interferes slightly with PCIE card (Geforce 9800 GT). 6-pin PCIE cable has to bend a tough 90 deg instantly from the connector and is tight against the PSU. 1ቬ" significantly less space and it would not match full size graphics card. Cant actually anticipate otherwise even though from a HTPC case that fits an ATX mobo. Knew it going in and not genuinely displeased at all even though. Sides are a little flimsy but support 19" WS monitor devoid of deforming when set up as a destop. Non-modular PSU lends itself to single HDD in the case, extra HDD slot offers space to cleanly stuff the rest of the unused PSU cables.

Could have been a excellent tiny case. Exceptional form element and handy to set up an HTPC in. Junky supplies hold the front panel on. I was removing the front panel the 1st time and a number of of the plastic connectors(meant to be straightforward disconnect, I guess) just fell off. More than time they all just fell off, without having me abusing it at all. The flaky plastic material holding the front panel on was the only key drawback to this set. Otherwise it was actually good. It wasn't flimsy or anything and fit all my stuff in(standard atx + additional hdd) just fine. Just be careful with that front panel.

It's a good searching case, from where it sits in my entertainment center it's a pleasant enough red. My wife nonetheless preferred our old Antec Overture, but it had to be replaced immediately after second energy provide failure. The case is a bit tight for an ATX mb, but with the energy provide and cages up in the air about an inch it performs perfectly. With my sata ports being on the side of my mb it was hard to plug the connectors in my other bigger case , but with the design as it is I can plug the connectors in with a straight cable rather than a 90 degree bend. Now I can use all four if I want to. The leads are a bit also short to attain the headers. They attain, but a couple of the wires are a tiny taut, I would like to have a bit additional length. Not a case I would want to be opening up and operating inside on a standard basis, but as it's utilized for an HTPC I won't be. As a person stated, the blue led is very vibrant. I like to know when my Pc is on so disconnecting it is not an choice. I'll most probably just move the Pc behind one of the smoked glass doors to dim it down a bit.

Appears very good from the front. Energy supply meets my needs. Not also high-priced The metal utilised to make this case is very flimsy. This case was missing 1 of just about every screw. The spacers that you put among the motherboard and the chassis have been to shallow so the supplied screws do not go in all the way. This tends to make the motherboard really loose. I ended up working with some spacers from an additional case. The rear fans got in the way when I was attempting to set up my motherboards back-plate. I had to get rid of them to get it installed. This isn’t a major deal but if they had moved it 1mm up it would not have caused any challenges. The power provide was also turned off when I got it. Turning it on includes taking off the front panel and flipping the switch from O to | . This would be fine if they documented it, but the documentation is totally useless. And somebody who didn’t recognize the energy provide as a normal typical every day run of the mill PSU wouldn’t know there was a switch to appear for. Only get it if you have spacers of your own, or don't mind a loose motherboard. Also be aware that there is a hidden switch on the PSU behind the front panel. To the front panel off, pull up on the notch in the bottom of the panel and pull out on the top rated. The poor metal is a widespread issue and you just want to investigate that when you obtain. The thin metal was fine for me in this case simply because I just required a cheep htpc sort setup, but if you want a excellent case look elsewhere.

Construction seems good. Create went easy, although spacing was tight. Must be a matte, the gloss shows dirt and scratches as well effortlessly. They put a lot of believed in how to place as a lot into as little space as possible. Be patient with it.The situation seemed deeper than I was expecting. But given that I wanted an ATX as opposed to a Micro-ATX, I seriously cannot see what they would do in a different way.As far as the color goes, if you are below it hunting up it does appear pink. If you are above it seeking down, it does appear maroon. So if you're creating a desktop, its fine, but if you are making a HTPC, then look at either the black or the silver.

Excellent no frills case, fairly low-cost. It is pink, but it was bought for a girl so no worries there. Fairly roomie inside thinking about it's size, but I don't know if I'd cram an ATX board in there. It utilizes a regular ATX energy provide (thankfully). Energy provide has been good so far, but..... I don't know how substantially I trust this power supply. Apevia isn't exactly recognized for high top quality power supplies, but I'm not placing a lot of anxiety on this a single, so I hope it will be alright. I believe some of the accessories were missing (screws, et cetera) but no big deal. Not really considerably far better in the price tag range

Really fashionable design ideal for a residing space HTPC. My wife and I recently painted an accsent wall in my residing room this color, that's why I chose it. You can't truly tell from the picture but the black aspect of this case has a high gloss finish. I'm utilizing a 42'' flat panel HDTV as it's monitor along side my stereo receiver and satellite DVR. This fits nicely into my setup. The style of this case makes for straightforward cable management Not the greatest case for venting heat. Only 2 additional slots for fan upgrades. Requires some creativity to make effetive air-flow. Not too terrible although, that's why it still gets 4 eggs. I recommend working with the ZALMAN CNPS8700 NT with this case it's a little power residence that comfortably fits. You'd be content with this case

Case - is great excellent for the price. Energy supply- supplies ample power for low energy 45nm processors. Some have fantastic expertise with it in the long run some don't. Use it to start and upgrade when it brakes is my reccomendation. Front button- power button appears a tiny "low budget". Doesn't seem like its going to break but doesn't scream high dollar. FRONT PANEL IS HOT PINK NOT RED, NOT MAROON. I like the case. Performs fine and I'm finding it the front panel painted. Get a unique color is my recommendation unless its a develop for a chick. Fit for vid cards is so tight. 1 or 2 mm much less space in between power provide and pci express slots and they wouldn't fit.

This situation is sturdy. Everything about it is quality. Great piano black finish on top/bottom and sides. Wonderful color on the aluminum faceplate. It comes with large rubber feet you can location on the bottom or side (desktop or tower configuration). Two SATA power connectors. I had plenty of room for almost everything. No 8 pin power connector for newer CPUs, an adapter or unique PSU would be needed. I didn't comprehend that the optical drive would sit behind a cover that flips down when the drive is opened. That silver button you see in the pictures is not just for show--it operates!

A friend is developing this laptop for me but he says the situation is fantastic, really properly designed, he just kept saying over and more than how impressed he was at the design and he has constructed hundreds of computers. It IS red, tomato red, not pink like absolutely everyone was saying. Possibly some come out pink and some red but I was hoping for pink based on other reviews. The very good news is I might be in a position to spray paint it simply. The color is the only purpose I gave it four and not 5 eggs.It is not what I would call a slim case, it is certainly a great large ol' pc situation.

The situation itself is really sturdy and I like the black glossy finish. The energy supply seems excellent so far & there was pleanty of room for the few componants I put in with a number of fans for airflow (cheaper fans, but suitable for the average hardware) I only gave this case 3 stars mainly because it is much more pink than red. Not positive if they are all that way, but it is definately not as red as the photographs on the web. If you aren't receiving it for a girl, stick with a single of the other colors they supply. I wish I had known it was pink considering that I did buy one more case on-line for my daughter, this would have been superior for that. The pink look really doesn't fit the wall of living area components I have although lol.

two side ports to fit 120 mm fans if required, energy supply venting independent of situation, supplied rear fans are pretty quiet as is the supplied power supply fan. dual orientation is a good plus. tiny but nonetheless fits full size atx board and a standard energy provide. about 9.5 inches of area for video card like power plug, this could be shortened by a lengthy optical drive or huge energy provide. none seriously just a fantastic smaller situation not tiny just smaller sized. wanted a smaller sized case to fit garage shelf as a juke box or movie player although working. fits the bill perfectly!

It's just about as tiny as you get whilst nevertheless becoming in a position to use standard size components. The energy provide and case fans are incredibly quiet and operate very nicely. Worked wonderful for developing an HTPC. It's a stretch to call it red. The a single I got is burgundy. I wish I had got a different color. It's a pretty minor complaint, though. If you are going to be adding a video card, appear for 1 that is shorter than your typical card or you may well find that it doesn't quite fit. I located a HD 3870 on newegg that worked nicely.

Fits every thing in a relatively smaller footprint for a complete ATX HTPC case.Solid building.Straightforward cable management and straightforward installation of every little thing I necessary.Contemplating the cost it was a fairly very good value. Missing screws.Motherboard standoffs spin in location, which means anything wasn't threated correct, generating it very difficult to screw down the motherboard. I did ultimately get everything down but it was a bit of a headache. These are my main causes for taking eggs. The following is fairly minor.Only 1 internal 3.five" bay (although I knew this going in). I had some spare 3.5" to 5.25" adapters lying around so I used 1 of them to fit double difficult drives. There is an external three.5" bay that can be utilized for a tricky drive if you aren't employing it (I am). It takes some maneuvering to get the motherboard in. If you're having issues try removing the double 80mm rear fans. They're on a plastic slider so it only takes two screws and they slide correct out.Be Quite cautious with your standoffs. Manufacturer Response:Aside from the obvious internal and external 3.5" drive bays, you can also install difficult drives on the two "grills" on the sides if you do not use them for fan mounts.

Plenty of area inside if your building a simple HTPC and considering that the cables from the energy provide are wrapped you can control the air flow greater by hiding the unused cables beneath the energy supply. The included 500watt energy supply was of very good quality and it vents out of the best of the case which, for my HTPC application at least, was precisely what I necessary. Please see below in the "other thoughts" box. The two 80MM exhaust fans where adequate but I would advocate making use of a single 120MM fan for exhaust on the opposite side of the processor fan, then flipping the 80MM fans about and use them to draw in fresh air from outside of the case into the case across the processor fan. Employing a Scythe SY1225SL12SH 120mm "Slipstream" Case Fan for exhaust I was able to lower the internal case temperature from 96F to 93F. With the two 80MM fans only for exhaust the the temp was 96F.

"How it looks" was most important to me - this looks Terrific! This was my first HTPC so I did not know what to anticipate in term of accessibility. I only took 1 egg off and even then it was not "lack of accessibility". This becoming an HTPC, I believe accessibility is acceptable. I do advise, if you want to use the HD slot, install that ahead of installing m/b. Case permit you to install HDs onto sides where you can also install fans - I didn't want my son poking at HD through mesh so did not do it this way. I removed one particular egg for two "minor" probs. The power button when pushed on too far will pop all the way in. Am not certain if mine is defective or that's the way it is. It's not worth me spending time to RMA - I intend to maintain technique on all time anyways. The DVD drive resides behind a plastic panel. The overall really feel of DVD coming out/going in doesn't really feel smooth with this panel. Panel looks nice, otherwise I would just remove it. I could anyways. Maybe I need to have to look at some other HTPC to compare. But for my 1st HTPC case, I am particularly happy with price tag, ease of sticking in all components and how it looks!
