Good Looking case and portable hunting. Power provide worked ok with a Foxconn mini atx motherboard. Newegg Rocks as always! Rapidly shipping. Choose it up by the front deal with and the front cover will rip appropriate off and tear the front wiring correct off! No secure attaching of the front cover! Front chrome deal with is useless for carrying the unit. Front Fan no leds, cheap! Will never purchase one particular of these once more! Why no front cover attaching screws? Poor style for being a transportable unit. Manufacturer Response:The X-Qpack2 model case utilizes two screws to hold the front panel to the case physique.

Case is awesome. I managed to place a Thermatake HSF in there by utilizing a dremel a little on the crossbar :) I even installed two logisys meteor UV led lights in there and with the windows it appears amazing. Had to use my Enermax PS match as effectively since the Apevia PS tested fine when I initially got it then when i got almost everything prepared to go it stopped working. Not certain what occurred but I sent it back to Apevia and they sent me a new one no questions asked. If you want a smaller HTPC case this will work fine.. the fans in it are not incredibly loud at all and not Also bright. I extremely recommend this case. AMDx2 4400+ with ECS Geforce6100SM mb + 2GB DDR2 also have Pioneer 112d in one particular slot and a black mobile HDD rack in the other which just clears the energy supply. I advise you check the energy supply as soon as you get it. Mine failed so I had to send to Apevia direct and set up my Enermax 1. Please becareful of the black metal vents in the front of the case. Throughout set up I accidently pushed on one particular too much and it popped inside. I just removed the front of the case and hot glued each sides now it is fine. Just a precaution. Other then that.. make confident you have every little thing ready to go if you mod the case to fit a bigger HSF simply because as soon as you install the HSF you cant eliminate the motherboard tray any longer. Only point I would add is absolutely everyone I have shown my new case loves it. The deal with works excellent. I did adhere to an additional posters suggestions and make sure the handle was tightened in all the way which it wasnt but now it is. Overall I highly advocate it.

Before I had constructed my new pc, I was a bit of a novice when it came to cooling. Let me just say that this case supplies Fantastic cooling. Yes, the Heatsink/Fan may have a bit to do with cooling your CPU, but I've discovered with this case that so does what you put the guts into. I have but to see my CPU temperatures go close to 40*C, and my GPU stays involving 40*-50*C (Idle-Active). I tried my parts in a diverse case, and identified out that was a major error.I would hugely, hugely, highly, very, hugely advocate this case to anybody, as extended as you're constructing a MATX computer. Oh, and some little form optical drives. Dust buildup. That's about it. What personal computer doesn't that happen to, even though? The deal with is a excellent function excellent if you're a gamer on the go.

I was searching for a cube case and this 1 had an internal floppy drive bay which I necessary and the Antec did not. It is well laid out and gives very very good ventilation at low fan RPM even in a warm space. The building of this case is very poor and uses really light gauge aluminum for the motherboard tray and the case itself and is easily bent if you are not extremely careful. Also, right after only a few months the colour started to fade. The case also has a very poor electrical ground - a uncomplicated static discharge causes the complete computer system to shutdown!!

Excellent case for the price, exceptional appears, effortless to perform in thinking of the size. Energy supply is more than sufficient and has all the connectors I required. Removable motherboard tray an superb function; installing the elements would have been incredibly difficult without having it. Installing in this case was just about as easy as a standard mid-tower. Stock fans are quiet. Enough space to set up a full size video card. Outstanding case to create a LAN gaming box! The stock fans are not in a position to be connected to a motherboard controller. I would like to have much more than two SATA energy connectors. When I would avoid words like "chintzy", the case material could stand to be a shade thicker. You will want to be a bit cautious as you are installing components to stay away from bending the motherboard tray. Some comments have been created with regards to the color; the unit I received was fairly substantially the identical colour as in the Newegg product photo, which I would describe as electric blue. You'll want to be careful when you pick a CPU fan, as any fan more than 73mm higher won't fit. There seems to be a misconception that the front 80mm intake fan is supposed to be lit; it isn't. It's just a blue tinted fan with no LEDs.

It's 1 cool case, not as in hip, but as in temp. three fans total, front, rear, and on the energy provide, plus a ton of vents. Very light. You can see all the guts! The LEDs on the rear fan are vibrant, it's also possible to see the LAN led's. Not positive if those are pros... Anyway, the case performs, the power supply is fantastic sufficient, and it definately sticks out. The deal with is good, but feels a bit...weak. The slide out mobo tray is nice. Can match two HDDs but I would only use one optical drive or your wire management will grow to be not possible. I use the spare optical drive slot to retailer all the unused energy wires, which there are a lot. Really thin metal, tends to make the case lighter, but it's very straightforward to bend. The top cover was practically not possible to remove the 1st time, but then it got simpler. The clear windows scratch really easily, the case is a lot larger than it appears. There is only two SATA form energy connectors! Not significantly space for a tall CPU cooler. Check the specs, but I assume one hundred might be the max. Would not advise for HT, LEDs bright, and the case is huge, but quiet. When the complete issue is assembled, it feels sturdy adequate, but not to the point exactly where I would carry it by the handle alone. Two hands for positive. The temp sensors study about three or four degrees cooler than actual on the CPU. My wife thinks it's ugly as sin. Manufacturer Response:The maximum height for the CPU heatsink/fan is around 3.five-4", which would imply practically nothing more than 90-100mm will fit.

These are the major differences I see among X-Qpack and X-Qpack2:- Takes regular ATX energy provide (the original employed a proprietary form element), so you can upgrade to a larger a single, if needed.- Metal carry-deal with rather of the old plastic one. The old one particular under no circumstances had any challenges, I was just generally additional concerned about it.- Sleeker appear and much better colour (I had the blue of the original and the blue of the X-QPack2) None yet I'd really like a smaller version of this case make for miniITX.

I like the color.Holds an ATI HD3870 graphic card no challengeSeems rather sturdy immediately after filling up all the bays. HDD bracket screws stripped.Essential to extract tapped rivets and set up with nuts & bolts. This is my third 1 of this kind of case. All aluminum, excellent for transporting wherever.Don't expect it to be as solid as a .8mm steel case.I feel there is no require to have a window on the leading. If youchoose to location objects on the leading, soon after time, would scratch the clear plastic.

Smaller type aspect, Mother Board Tray (see cons) Mother Board tray is effortless to bend it's thin aluminum. I order this in the BLUE version. When I received it it was Marked as being Blue on the Box, However when opening the box, It turns out to be a dark Purplish colour. My wife essentially liked it much better than the blue she thought she was acquiring. Its a great case thinking of the price and what you get.

Had this thing about 15 months now, no problems. Lightweight aluminum helps with heat. Quiet fans. Fits a massive Zalman heatsink on my processor, and an ATI 4670 no problem. I lately squeezed a PCI cooler in it as effectively (see under). It is NOT flimsy, as I have rebuilt my rig at least five instances in it currently, no difficulties. Everyone loves the way this issue appears. I would buy another but the price is fairly a bit greater than what I paid here back in March of ང. Could use a single additional intake fan in the front. Clear plastic scratches effortlessly. The energy provide would be superior if it had a neater cabling solution. Fans have been keeping it cool enough till I began overclocking my Kuma and ATI 4670 under complete load. My easy remedy was that I added a PCI exhaust fan, and it sucks the heat right out. The temperature sensors are good, but not incredibly uncomplicated to secure to your heatsinks. Not sure why everyone would want to put a single on a difficult drive. I put that one particular either on my northbridge or my gpu heatsink.

Nice tiny compact size just what I was seeking for. The 500 Watt psu performs good. The two fans provided with case function excellent air flow that helps hold everything cool. The front usb, Fire wire, and audio ports worked like a charm.Would I buy yet another case like this "YES" The screws offered for the tough drive "Toss them" purchase new ones. the screws provided are self taping and have a triangle shape and tend to strip out the threads.Replace the screws for the motherboard tray, and the cover they have a tendency to strip out also. I bought the huge thumb screws. If you plan on opening the case over and more than once again, don`t buy it put the case together and leave it alone and it will be wonderful.A little compact wile attempting to place the psu wires on the motherboard. Its a good case, its not produced for some one that cant make up there thoughts and hold playing about with it. place it together after tie up the wires, get every little thing going and then close it up, and then leave it alone...

Quite good little case. Mine is quite really, like the blue led fans and appears to be well believed out. Not positive if I got fortunate in my selection of MB, but the case seemed to "just perform" when it came to operating all the the wires and such. I did not uncover the case material 'flimsy' but I do agree that it could be a small thicker. The only issue I can come up with is that the PSU is a little large for the case and the power wires come out appropriate where your DVD ROM is, perhaps my DVD ROM is bigger than the typical, but I had to squish the energy and IDE wires a small to make it fit.The blue colour of the case is extremely comparable to my Linksys hub, if you have one of those, you know what colour 'blue' it is. Not sure if that's a con for me. I am utilizing a P4 with an ABIT I-45CV and an x700 video card. Almost everything match perfectly. I did obtain a new CPU fan (ZeroTherm CF800) and it fit just below the rail (again, I consider I got lucky), if you have a massive fan, be ware, it could not match in the case.

Little size, looks quite cool, removable motherboard tray (makes life simpler for confident!), built in carrying manage, like the way you mount the tough drive, and the engineers should be pretty proud. Comes with a decent power provide as properly, and the value is very good. Fairly quiet also. Initial off, the front temperature display is plugged in to the power supply, but it does not perform at all. I have not bothered to take it apart to find out why, but it Need to operate out of the box. The fans that come with it are extremely weak, and only the bigger of the two 鲸MM back) glows blue. That suggests a single side is lit up, the other is dark and it does not cool really properly. I ordered two superior fans to fix this difficulty although. The removable top rated is incredibly weak to the point exactly where you want to be cautious with it, and the glass scratches simply. Lastly, the final touches to hook anything up can be challenging just mainly because it's a smaller case, if you cannot see nicely (or have massive, clumsy hands) assembly is not going to be effortless. Slowed me just a bit compared to a normal mid tower create. Nevertheless, that is the price tag you spend for the size, so it's not seriously a con. I bought this case for my girlfriend, as she is constantly bringing her pc from her house to mine so carrying a large case is silly. It's far from a best case, it would be good if the fans both glowed and the temperature gauge worked correct, and it's not best. I do query it's ruggedness, but so far so fantastic. I believe Apevia must offer you mods for it, such as screens to replace the glass panels and such, I am considering of doing some type of mod like that myself, it would cool far better and the scratches on the window make it appear like an older case than it is. It need to be noted the color is not purple, it's like an iridescent blue color. With a small much more refinement Apevia will make this even better. (Xpack3 anybody?)

Good case that is little and transportable, but nevertheless massive adequate for some expansion. Great if you want to move the case about as the handle is incredibly easy. Cramped, and has difficulties getting rid of heat. This case is not made for intense elements such as SLI or Crossfire. I had the original XQPack and this 1 is greater by far. It makes use of far more common components that are arranged far better, and just commonly feels like it is higher good quality. However the power provide was totally worthless. It died after significantly less than 2 years and was continuously giving me issues. Factor in the cost of yet another energy provide if you obtain this.

This case is a huge improvement over the very first generation instances.Just to let you know that I have utilized a Blue Orb cpu cooler in this case.It requires tin snips at the back corner and some cautious sliding of the motherboard tray to make it fit.All the venting they have add is a major aid to the cooling.I am glade to see the enhanced PSU,the initial generation PSU was for the birds. The add PSU clearance is going to make upgrading it sometime in the future a breeze. I found the bumpy finish somewhat of a disappointment.I have utilized Ultra Qpack types circumstances and the finish is considerably nicer. The cover is a mite flimsy but it just web-sites on my desk and not in a football game so it will do. 500W power, LCD display Looks affordable in actual, flimsy building, also quite a few sharp edges inside I can't think some people in fact loved this case ! Looks good in image, but the actual case is not extremely impressive. Appears seriously cheap. The material is quite flimsy. The aliminium sheets used to make this case are really thin. There are also many sharp edges inside the case, so need to have to be extra cautious not only with your fingers, but also the cables and connectors (they can quickly get cut). The power cables are as well huge for the size of the case, leaving a lot of clutter inside. The case structure is just not appropriate for IDE ribon cable. Thankfully my motherboard (Intel DG33TL) has 6 SATA ports, so I place all SATA drives (including SATA DVD-RW). This case will not accomodate any CPU cooler additional than 76mm in height, so it is not meant for overclockers. The only two excellent items about the case are 1) 500W energy supply and two) Front LCD display. I am not certain is 贄 is worth.

The case is little, low-temp, and the case wires are a ideal length to reach any sort of motherboard which is a difficulty I have had with some Antec cases, therefore my brand switch. The manage broke when I picked the case up to put it on my bench with my other elements to start out the construct. It has due to the fact eluded all attempts at repair and I gave up when my client told me that he had no use for the handle anyway, so I did my very best to make it retract and left it alone. Manufacturer Response:Manage broke with nothing installed? Sounds like the case may have been handled by a 'delivery gorilla'. Also the LED's in the 80mm fan stopped operating 3 hours soon after i turned my new machine on... Ů replacement fan was less difficult than RMA For what i paid and the appears/performance of the case i would absolutely obtain additional situations from this series. It would be nice if it was perfect but i really feel the good features outweigh the minor imperfections.

This case is certainly fantastic. The other critiques mention heat becoming a problem, even so I am getting no situation (Intel 945G motherboard, GeForce 7600, and so forth). The case is simple to work with and looks impressive sitting on a desk. The 500w power supply is an outstanding alternative as well. LED temp readout on the front is bright and uncomplicated to read. If I had to come up with a negative side it would be quite trivial at ideal. I sort of wish the case was small brighter on the inside as far as the LED's go. Also, the metal is a thin aluminum there it feels a hair fragile. This was my first Micro ATX develop and I was quite impressed. Though difficult to build an "uber" computer system in a small space, it still worked particularly well for my requires. I would advocate this case to everyone wanting to develop a micro with a "croud pleasing" look.
