Cons: -Not as fluid as an Ipad-Some Android-related bugs-Slightly heavier than competitors

Pros: -Sturdy Construction-Standard USB port-Fast Speed
Comment:
Very pleased with this tablet. It has a very bright screen, fast speed and overall good responsiveness, not as good as ipads, but more than acceptable. Still waiting for OTA Android 3.1 update.

Cons: - Camera gives low quality shots regardless of lighting or other conditions.- Everything slows down when it gets hot - Unintuitive file system- Very short charging cable

Pros: - Light- Fast- Hasn't scratched yet- USB port is very handy- Impressive screen- Great for gaming
Comment:
Loaded up with the right software, this tablet is a great machine. I decided on this over the Xoom because of the lower price point, identical specs and of course the USB port - you have no idea how handy it is until you need to transfer a file onto someone's flash drive and don't have any other devices. I recommend putting File Expert on it as this has worked flawlessly for me with network transfers and transfers using the USB port. Honeycomb, market and some other apps crash randomly but they recover quickly and I just remind myself that it's still a new OS. I find the volume and power keys to be in handy positions (despite all of the reviews I read saying they were difficult to use). Unfortunately the rotation lock switch can be difficult to move unless you can get it from just the right angle. I also feel the dock connector is a dust magnet and should've come with some kind of filler piece to keep it smooth and clean. For some reason Acer only included a 2ft charging cable, so unless you have a low table or high outlets you will have to use a power bar - this alone takes away from the great image of the tablet. Battery life is impressive as long as you keep the screen brightness on auto and turn it off whenever it's not being used. It has lasted me two days of fairly constant use. I even tried running down the battery by running BMW films back-to-back, but after half an hour it was only down 8%...Overall I'm happy with my purchase and would recommend it to anyone looking for a well priced tablet. Unfortunately since it's so new it's hard to find decent accessories for it. Hopefully this will change soon.

Cons: sometimes freezes and need a power-cycle

Pros: Does everything I need. Movies, web browsing, music, games, online stream videos.

I originally wanted to get the Asus Transformer tablet, but got this one instead. I didn't really expect much from it as I was disappointed that it wasn't a transformer (gotta love the name), but I was surprised. It did everything I wanted to do. Watch TV shows online, browse the web, music, camera, games, etc. It has pretty cool games/apps too. I like how the "home page" is customizable so it looks pretty I'm not really a techy kind of a guy but I really love this tablet. It plays HD YouTube videos flawlessly and doesn't get choppy at all. My friend got the Transformer and complained about frames skipping when watching HD YouTube videos and he is going to return it and buy this one instead. I was at first worried about the battery life as it's ~1 hour less than ipad2 ... but as I keep on using it, I really could care less if it was 6.5 hours or 8 hours. I just know it lasts a pretty damn long time for me watch few movies with it before charging it again. The best thing I like about this is that it has the rotation lock feature. I always hated browsers or skype rotating around when I'm lying on my bed (with iPhone). This one has a lock feature so it doesn't switch back and forth.

Cons: Accessories were not released simultaneously so protective cases etc are a bit hard to find but getting better. Also small selection of Honeycomb apps at the moment although growing.

Pros: Extended functionality out of the box unlike the Xoom. Micro SDHC works out of the box. Full USB port on unit that works with all Fat 32 formatted drives/sticks.
Comment:
Fantastic Honeycomb tablet option with a lot of bang for the buck right out of the box unlike the Xoom. Full USB port and working Micro SDHC slot!

Cons: No 3g, but I didn't care about that. Uses a micro hdmi connector instead of the much more common mini hdmi. Uses MTP for transferring files instead of showing up as a usb storage device.

Pros: Great screen, lots of memory. Awesome dual core processor.
Comment:
Really happy with this tablet. Runs the new Android Honeycomb really well and it's stable. Weighted and shaped for comfortable use. The MTP file transfer is kind of annoying as a linux user. It should show up as a regular usb storage device.

Cons: Cameras are not great (I do not really care about camera, it's a tablet), screen will wake itself for 2-3 seconds every hour. Android 3 could use a little polish.

Pros: Fast, good display, good sound USB keyboard support.
Comment:
Happy with this device so far. Was a little disappointed it was $50 more than in the US, but then saw it is 32 gb instead of 16 so fair enough. The A500 is fast and feels well built. I read some reviews before buying this that said it it thicker and heavier than the other android 3 tabs. I tried the Xoom and the iPad one at bestbuy side by side with the A500, once holding them you can't really notice much if any diffrence.Between the xoom wifi and this I couldn't find any reason for that to be $100 more. The cameras on the device are not great for picture quality, you can see sample pictures in online reviews. I do not really mind because I can't see myself taking many pictures with a 10 inch tablet computer. For tiny speakers they pump out fairly loud sound, no real bass though but exceeded expectations. Through headphones it sounds great (same song and heppearbuds sound better than on my HTC Desire). There is a bug where the devices screen will wake itself up for about a second or two each hour, I have read online many others having this issue, seems to be a bug.Wifi keeps a good connection even when set to sleep/wake on screen power, files seem to transfer pretty fast transferring files over wifi.Programs open and run fast. Honeycomb of course runs exactly the same as on the xoom that I was testing at the same time as this.Micro SD works as it should. 3 out of 3 USB flash drives (kingstong and Lexar) worked fine. I tried the only USB keyboard I had kicking around and it kicked in and worked fine by the time i opened the email app.Battery life seems fine. I am at 19% right now, had alot of heavy usage most of the day yesterday. None of my other mobile devices last close to this long.Would buy again.
