This is one of the best networking products I've ever used. You just plug the ethernet cable into the unit and plug it into the wall, then plug the other unit into the wall and connect it to the router using another ethernet cable. It connects immediately and works as well as if you were plugging your network device directly into the router! I have no idea how it works, but it works extremely well! I would recommend this product to anyone. |
It was not possible for me to run a cable from my modem, on the second floor to the room where my new computer sits, and i didn not want a wireless router because of unreliability and security issues, so this was my only option and while it may seem expensive, its actually cheaper than a very long rj-45 cable. The only issue i have with this is that it gets pretty hot, but overall, its flawless and works like a charm. I also like the possibility to add even more adapters to the network if i ever wanted to.
