Cons: -Somewhat difficult to adjust stand height

Pros: -Excellent, 120Hz refresh rate-VEERRYY low response time-3d ready, if need-be-Very good picture quality
Comment:
This board is very good. The colour reproduction is a lot better than my old samsung t220 monitor, and the refresh rate is very fast. As well, the 1920:1080 is a big improvement than the 1680:1050. Playing games on this monitor is a dream, and having the higher refresh rate really helps to spot subtle actions in the game.

Cons: Have to tweak to get good colours, Buttons on the bottom of the screen cant tell what youre pressing, only 3d for nvidia

Pros: Sturdy, 2ms, 120Hz, LED, 3d option
Comment:
Other than having to play around with the settings a little bit this monitor is amazing. Also the buttons being on the bottom of the screen is kind of annoying. This is the perfect monitor for gamers 2ms response time and 120Hz will make sure you won't miss a frame.

Cons: poor out-of-the-box picture quality, takes a long time to turn on, and poor vertical viewing angle: unavoidable color tint at the top & bottom.

Pros: 120 Hz, very low input lag, fast refresh rate, height adjustable stand, LED backlight, attractive, good price for a 120Hz monitor of this size, no dead pixels
Comment:
This monitor has good features and the picture quality can be pretty good after some adjustment. Good price for the features compared to other 120Hz monitors. It's a decent looking monitor and much better than I thought it would be from the web photos.I'd buy again at the sale prices, and for now this is probably the best deal on a 120Hz monitor if you're like me and don't want to pay $400-$600 for the higher end 120Hz monitors that may be only marginally better or even just equal.I recommend using http://www.lagom.nl/lcd-test/ to help you adjust the picture quality because the default settings are terrible. RGB mode or Standard mode can be used to get a good picture, but FPS mode (which was default) is bad.

Cons: Menu buttons difficult to get use to.Back light failing after 6 weeks looks and feels a little cheap.Backlight bleeding makes black in movies and games look blue on bottom of screen.

Pros: Feature packed at reasonable price, great picture most of the time
Comment:
Picture quality is great, great colors after you change some settings. Prepare yourself for first start up! The back light flickers and shuts off randomly on mine after 6 weeks. Requesting RMA from Benq now, so I can't say how the customer service is just yet, seems ok so far.The OSD is hard to navigate and is not intuitive at all. It is very hard to watch a movie because the blacks look blue on the bottom of the screen and is very distracting. Fantastic for gaming in bright maps, good for general desktop/internet browsing use, poor for movies/dark images. I love the monitor, but the lousy dark image performance and flickering back light has left a bad taste in my mouth. Its hard to rate. On one hand its a great monitor, on the other hand it terrible.

Cons: out of box setting are no good (im not picky either, so its bad)

Pros: smooth fluid motionsdef. good for gaming
Comment:
I bought this and replaced my very old 19" I-INC monitor. I am very pleased with the quality of this BenQ monitor. No dead pixels is def. a plus! Out of box don't look too great, took me 1/2 hour to fidget with the colors to get it looking right. I just wish there was a one touch button to switch from standard mode to FPS mode. Also it is set to 100 brightness out of the box, you will have to turn it down a bit if you do a lot of work at night. The 120hz make everything very smooth as well.

Cons: Default color settings are unusable

Pros: Glorious 120hz
Comment:
Got this monitor because I was tired of vsync, and it definitely delivered. Had to calibrate the color before using it, but that wasn't too hard.PBP works perfectly - I can play 360 on the HDMI and use my PC on the DVI easily. Great for reading forums or FAQs if you need to when playing.Pivot works nicely too, great for shmups.Haven't tried it with 3D so can't comment on that.

Cons: -BROKE WITHIN 32 DAYS OF USE!!!!!

Pros: -Good price-Great performance
Comment:
When I first got this monitor I was a quite disappointed with the color, but after fiddling with the color calibrations and doing a few Google searches for the best settings, everything started to look great. The monitor performed absolutely great. Until today. Today is the 32nd day since I purchased the monitor, and it just got a nice big verticle line down the middle... awesome... This is the second BenQ product I've bought. My previous monitor was also from BenQ and it also broke after 1 year. DO NOT BUY ANY BENQ PRODUCTS. They're decently priced, but man do they suck.

Cons: - 2ms/120hz is amazingly smooth and responsive for gaming

Pros: - OST/button layout is unwieldy
Comment:
This is an amazing monitor for gaming, given the price point. Upgrading from a 5ms 60hz Samsung, this monitor is both easier on the eyes, and you can see a huge difference in hand/eye synchronization whether it be just your mouse cursor in WoW, or your crosshair in a shooter.NCIX's no dead pixel guarantee is smart money spent here. Others have reported stuck/dead pixels, and I join them with one stuck blue pixel on the center. NCIX replaced no hassle, and the replacement is in perfect condition.

I'll be honest I was pretty sceptical about 120hz and gaming, but after buying this monitor I'm hooked. I have a 60hz screen that I use to the side of this one but it just doesn't compare it almost feels like it's lagging. This is a top notch monitor at a very nice price for what you get. I would definitely buy it again.

Pros: Great features, including- 120 Hz refresh rate- LED backlighting- 1080 resolution
Comment:
Would be nice to have if I got one that worked. NCIX please don't remove my review; this is not a isolated problem. What are the chances of 4 bad monitors in a row? This is a valid concern. No more BenQ products for me.

Pros: -Excellent Picture-No backlight bleed-Very fast response time for gaming-Good price-Nice base-Good looks
Comment:
I use this monitor primarily for gaming and that is what it what BenQ intended it for. I replaced my Samsung 2343BWX monitor with this and WOW what a difference in colour, response, looks, just everything I found was better. Backlight bleed was not an issue with this TN panel and I was quite pleased with the overall product.

Cons: Bad factory setting, menu buttons

Pros: 120 Hz, low price, versatile base
Comment:
For $320, this is the cheapest 23" 3D capable monitor you can find. The factory settings are not usable but I'm able to get a decent picture after playing with the settings for a while. Nevertheless this monitor has fast refresh rate (no lag at all when I play Crysis 2), it's 3D ready (I have yet to try) and is ergonomically very friendly. The monitor has no light bleeding or dead/stuck pixel issues at all.I have not tried playing 3D stuff on it and I'm sure it will not disappoint either.

Great monitor. Took advantage of the $50 instant rebate. Bought it mainly to play Flight Sim X in 3D which it does well. Works great for me with the nVidia 3D glasses. Flying over virtual Hawaii was nice with the extra resolution and screen real estate compared to my old 3D monitor.

Bought this monitor last week and been using it for about 5 days now i love it. Im a hardcore gamer and let me tell u i noticed the difference right away from my samsung lcd to this monitor all my games feel very responsive and everyone complaining about the backlight bleed is int he past these monitors ship with a new firmware wich supposidly fixes the issue. I have no backlight bleed so i cant complain. The pivot and the amount of operatibility of the monitor is great every adjustment i could want is there. If u are a true gamer i defently recommend this monitor its 3d ready and very fast response time.

Cons: Ghosting

Pros: Headphone jack (for HDMI audio)
Comment:
I noticed strong ghosting right away from the first 3D games that I've played and from my Fujitsu 3D camera. 3D LCD technology is not yet fully developed. I am willing to pay more for better quality (2D and 3D). The images of this monitor looks inert and dull near my BenQ FP241W or even my Dell U3011. The quality is on par with other cheap monitors.

I bought this monitor on sale for $300 and I don't regret it. It's thinner and produces less heat. The colors are better and more vivid. Haven't tried 3D yet, but hopefully I will soon.Note: the really long nGear cables that are "dual-link" don't support high resolutions and don't support 120hz either; read the reviews before buying long dual-link cables.

I was looking for a monitor that would support all my multi-purpose needs, this XL2410T fit the bill. The bezel is matte and subdued, so it will not attract fingerprints and also does not look gaudy on my desk. The function buttons on the lower right corner are easy to learn by touch - I mainly just use them to power on/off and to switch inputs.HDMI, DVI, and VGA connections let me connect multiple computers at once, and the Picture-by-picture (PBP) mode is surprisingly useful. However, only HDMI/VGA and HDMI/DVI can be simultaneously displayed - DVI/VGA support is curiously absent and would be nice to have.120Hz Nvidia 3D Vision-ready, and works wonderfully for games and 3D videos. 120 Hz can only be done through dual-link DVI on this monitor - HDMI 1.4 or DisplayPort would be another nice feature that this monitor lacks. The rotating stand combined with the excellent aspect & 1:1 scaling modes allow me to use this monitor to play my arcade hardwares that require a vertical screen orientation. I had to take a few seconds to adjust the VESA mount to allow counter-clockwise screen rotation. The monitor runs very cool thanks to the LED backlighting. Colours seem fine to me but I am not picky about this.It is a relatively pricey monitor but for the features this monitor has, I find it difficult to recommend anything else!

Cons: -Default FPS mode poor-Needs calibration-Overdrive artifacts noticeable-Pricey TN panel-1:1 pixel mode often missing, such as at lower 16:9 resolutions-OSD options locked out depending on presets annoying

Pros: -120hz-Height adjustable stand-Lowest input lag-Aspect ratio adjustments mostly work well-Static contrast ratio good for a TN panel
Comment:
Not too many options for a 120hz panels right now, but this BenQ hits many of the fine points you're looking for in a gaming LCD.-Lowest input lag on any LCD though some are pretty close.-120hz makes everything very smooth, going back to 75hz is no longer an option.-Aggressive AMA settings can often introduce artifacts more noticeable then traditional trailing IMO. Being able to tweak AMA overdrive beyond on/off would be preferable.-Being locked out of OSD settings in certain preset modes can be annoying.-Gamma at 2.2 on this LCD seems too dark most of the time, black level detail is lost and would probably need hardware level calibration to get it right. Gamma at 2.0 seems much better though at the cost of some white saturation.Quite surprised how well my old 8800GT 512mb is handling the 1080p resolution gaming but a GPU upgrade is certainly in the works.

Cons: Price, TN Panel, Viewing Angles

Pros: Stand, 120hz, Low Input Lag, AG Coating
Comment:
I'm a hard core BF2, BC2 and will be a BF3 player. I'm a former competitive CS player but this monitor is so bad-ass I may go back to playing CS Source. I'm also a Home Theater enthusiast with a massive movie collection run from a Home Theater PC that doubles as my primary gaming machine. I don't like having more than one computer in my home. One is plenty of work as it is.XL2410T Review:Panel Coating:This monitor has what I consider to be the perfect AG coating. It's very thin, not intrusive, and does not create  a grainy looking image unlike LG based E-IPS panels used in the Dell U2311 and NEC EA23. It also does a splendid job of not creating any reflections. AG coating: 10/10. Ergonomics:Excellent, the stand is perfect. The ability to adjust height is so important for TN panels. It's quite sturdy and comparable to Dell stands in every way. Ergonomics: 10/10Inputs:I don't use anything but the dual link DVI port. DIsplayport can't hurt though!Gaming:This is the lowest input lag monitor I have ever tried and it has definitely improved my online scores significantly. I have bought and returned the NEC EA23 and Dell 2311. I also own an Asus VW246h which is an excellent bargain TN with low input lag. My best friends have the Dell U2410 and the Samsung F2380. The Benq XL2410T is the best gaming monitor I have ever tried. Input lag is the most important factor to me. Pixel response has never been a big complaint of mine but I do prefer the 120hz and higher FPS cap that this monitor provides. It's not as much of a dramatic difference unless you are coming from an older display. My Dell FPW2005 had horrible pixel response by comparison but the Dell U2311 was pretty similar to this 120hz model. Where ALL these models fall FAR behind is the input lag. The XL2410T has a 5ms average input lag with no spikes over 20ms so long as direct mode is enabled. 120hz compatibility issues:I am not only a die hard gamer but I also run a 10 terabyte home theater from my primary gaming machine. If you're using an ATI graphics card then you will have issues trying to run 120hz to one monitor and 60hz to a TV or AVR receiver in Clone Mode. This issue does not occur with multiple computer monitors, only devices that the Radeon drivers see as an "HDTV". Me and two other [H] guys are having this issue. Oddly all three of us have Radeon 6950s but I believe it's an issue with the ATI driver. PM me if you are having this problem. I still may return the XL2410T because of the Clone mode issues.Picture Quality:The color depth and measured contrast once calibrated are both stellar for a TN panel. This is the best TN display I have ever seen by far. At almost 1000:1 contrast it was a pleasant surprise. Black levels are adequate but compared to the modern VA panels it's pretty awful. The picture on my Benq W5000 1080p DLP projector embarrasses every computer monitor I have tried. If I didn't play games I would return the XL2410T and buy the Benq BL2400PU VA monitor immediately. 3000:1 contrast is what I want but that is not possible on a gaming display. The XL2410T has pretty shitty viewing angles, it's worse than my old TN Asus VW246h. Fortunately the adjustable stand makes up for this shortcoming. Build Quality:The panel I got is free of any major back light bleeding and has no dead pixels. It has exceptional uniformity. It has a tiny bit of edge-led bleed at the extreme edges of the screen that annoys me.

Pros: fast, 120 hz, can do 3D, 2 ms refresh
Comment:
I use it with my Radeon 4870 video card. It does 120 hz on desktop and in games. I am somewhat disappointed with the desktop performance. People say that 120 hz monitors make the windows GUI a smoother experience. But while I can see some smoother movements, I can't say that I am all that impressed. In games, like in Titan Quest, it made a huge difference in smoothness over my Samsung SyncMaster 215TW 8 ms PVA monitor. The OSD buttons are at the bottom and they are difficult and annoying to use. I am surprised to see that there is an audio output on the side of the monitor for headphone use!

Comment:
I just received this a week ago and have been glued to the monitor ever since. FPS games have not been so great since buying this. Although I still have my CRT because I like doing comparisons between the two every now and then, but I must say, BenQ has hit the 120hz really well with this monitor. I know that Alienware, Asus, and some other brands also have their own 120hz monitors, but I can’t speak for those, because I haven’t tried them. However, the reason why I picked the BenQ over the rest was mainly because of its ergonomics of the monitor. I think this monitor is designed extremely well, because it gives you so much ability and room to move around. You can raise and lower the monitor by a great amount, you can swivel the monitor from left to right for about 45 degrees on each side, and you can also rotate the monitor from portrait mode to landscape mode. Not that I have actually used the portrait to landscape mode switch, but it’s a cool feature to claim that your monitor has. Overall the XL2410T performs superbly and is also LED backlit therefore making it seemingly bright, consuming less power, and also easier on your eyes. This is definitely a recommended 120hz monitor for those who are in search of 120hz LCD’s and is definitely one of the more adjustable monitors out in the market.
