Works just like it said it does. All I did was plug it into my PCI-express slot re-booted my Dell computer and presto Windows 7 automatically loaded the drivers and every thing worked. I plugged my majicjack and a external hard drive into it and have had no problems so far. Even gave me the extra power I needed to get the caller ID info on my phones display. It's nice to have another 4 USB ports. BTW I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit. |

I installed it in my Powermac G5 (late 2005). It worked right out of the box. No drivers to install, my mac simply recognized it right away. I connected my external USB hard drive and I was able to use "Time Machine" to backup my files. It also worked with my digital camera and my microphone. |

This product has worked fine for me. Considering some of the newer motherboards have goe to the PCIE01 (short connector) format, after adding a high-end video card, I had no other choice for upgrading my wireless connection other than to use this card with a USB wireless adapter. (All my other USB ports on the back of my machine were in use--printer, external drive, wireless mouse/keyboard adapter, UPS controls). |

The design and manufacturing of this product make it one of the worst purchases I've ever made for a computer component. Though I've installed other PCIe cards such as SoundBlaster Audigy in other PCIe slots on my computer, the seating alignment guide tab on the MassCool was placed on the board such that there was no way that the card could be seated into the PCIe slot. So, it was totally worthless. I also noticed that the metal plate holding the USB 2.0 female plugs was flimsy and easily pliable. That, coupled with the fact that the pc board was secured to the mounting plate with only two screws poorly placed in the center-rear of the board, unless the screws were absolutely tightened, when a usb 2.0 male connector was inserted/removed, the entire assembly moved in and out. I've used MassCool fans and found them to be a good product but they missed the mark on this product. |
Took it out of the box, snapped it in, connected my usb's and the rest is history
