Cons: None (for me, see comments)

Pros: Good layout, reliable, Dr.Debug is a great feature.
Comment:
This board lived up to all the hype I've read about it. There's not much else to say. As for the majority of bad reviewers, look at the specs and if it meets your requirements I would highly recommend this board, if it doesn't then please buy a more expensive board that will suit your needs instead of complaining about what this WON'T do.

Jumped off the ASUS bandwagon to try out this board after seeing many positive reviews. Works great with my 2500k to allow for overclocking.

Cons: no usb 3.0 front headerbent cpu pins

Pros: pricepcie 3.0nice looking board and layout
Comment:
I have used an Asrock boards in the past and they have always worked alright. The Install was a pain mainly because I had 2E errors and my ram would only work in slots B1,B2 single channel....I even had the RMA all approved, but figured I'd check the CPU pins before paying the shipping to return it, turns out a couple of the pins were bent backwards which I definately did not do. I carefully bent the pins back into place and reinstalled everything then had A2,B2 slots working in dual channel with no more errors! I cancelled my RMA on the board and its been humming along nicely since then at 4.4ghz on an I5 2500k chip. I also have 8gb g.skill X F3 DDR3 1600 ram and a Sapphire 7950 OC video card and all work great now! I would recommend this board, but check the CPU pins first before you install!

Cons: -Cheaply made, you get what you pay for-South bridge heatsink gets in the way-Heatsinks aren't low profile, everything feels crushed together

Pros: -Cheap-SLI and Crossfire ready-Does a lot for the price
Comment:
Not too dissapointed, but the latch on my PCI slot just broke off on one of these, didn't take any force at all. The board is great for the price, but I do sort of regret not getting something of a better quality.A great budget board.

Cons: SATA Ports may be blocked off by larger video cards.

Pros: Great easy-to-use UI, plenty of expansion ports, SLI and Crossfire Ready, lots of air flow, looks great.
Comment:
This is an excellent board. I am not an expert when it comes to hardware setup, but this board makes things a cinch to adjust. Overclocking and adjusting RAM and CPU options are really easy. The only thing is that my card, a Gigabyte 6870, covers the SATAIII ports (next to the PCIEx16 slot) pretty well, and getting cables installed after installing the card is a bit of a hassle. Great board, though.

Cons: Heat sink blocks seem loosely connected.

Pros: Well built with a myriad of features.
Comment:
Actually, I'm quite impressed by this mobo. It was the first ASRock I've worked with. Lost of features, both in the mobo itself and the bios. There were many little touches that spoke of going the extra mile. (Minor notations of mounting on the mobo. Extra labels on the back panel, etc...) On top of that very competitively priced. In the past I've used mainly Asus and Gigabyte boards, but this one might just have swayed me to ASRock for the future.

Cons: No usb 3.0 front header. The 2 capacitor on the top of the mobo aside from the cpu power connector gets realy hot when overclocking, but soo far does'nt seam to affect stability.

Pros: Great looks.Tons of feature for this price point.
Comment:
Coupled with a 2500k and 8Gb gskill 1600mt/s ram gave me realy good oc with low voltage. It's sli ready and get an spacing between pci-e slots so your cards get good airflow. Even with 2 grafic cards you still have access to a pci-e 1x and a pci slot. And just look at it, it's beautyfull.Realy asrock got it right with this motherboard.

Cons: - No USB 3.0 headers- On-board fan control not great

Pros: + Looks pretty good aesthetically+ Loaded with high-end features for < $150+ Rock solid stable+ UEFI BIOS is user friendly
Comment:
I'm currently using this ASRock motherboard with an i7 2700k and 16GB of G.Skill DDR3. At the price I got it for ($135 price matched), this was a steal. There's a ton of innovative features and (supposedly) high overclocking ceiling with this motherboard. The unique features I have tried are the LGA775 mounting holes. These work quite well. I managed to recycle my Thermalright Ultra 120 Extreme with an LGA775 backplate. Another useful feature is the ASrock XfastUSB utility. I found that it increased file transfer over USB by about 4 MB/s (writing to my 8GB usb stick jumped from 8 to 12 MB/s; reading from my external hard drive went from 30 to 34 MB/s).Some other high-end features of this board include: Power/Reset/Clear CMOS switches integrated onto the board and a POST code display.Lastly, this board looks pretty good aesthetically. Dark brown/black and gold look great.

Cons: NO FIREWIRE, NO USB 3.0 HEADERS for your usb 3.0 ports on your case!

Pros: UEFI Bios, onboard error code debug display, reset and pwr switch right on the board, clear CMOS button on IO plate, black board design looks good
Comment:
Absolutely solid mobo, awesome UEFI BIOS, only 2 major complaint with this board the biggest being no headers for usb 3.0! My case has two front usb 3.0 ports which I can only use for usb 2.0 now. Only USB 3.0 ports are on the back I/O on the mobo. Also would have liked Firewire, I know its a dated tech but I have an old video camera that I can't use unless I buy a Firewire controller.Still highly recommend.

Cons: Depending on your HSF combo, will need to remove before adding / replacing RAM (at least, with the 212 Evo)No USB 3 headers on the MOBO, limited to the two ports on the back.

Pros: Price + features / performance all around.Great UFEI BIOSOverclocks well
Comment:
PM'd for $138 to build up a system for a friend with an i5 2500k + G.SKILL Ripjaws X F3-12800CL9D-8GBXL + Coolermaster Hyper 212 Evo. Setup overclocked with ease (lots of step-by-steps out there with a similar CPU/MOBO setup), BIOS is super friendly and easy to work with. Tested everything prior to install in a case on my workbench and loved the convenience of the power on / reset buttons built onto the motherboard. Also has a CLR-CMOS button 'fail-safe' built into the back panel (didn't actually press it though, not sure what would happen if pressed accidentally!)I'd recommend and buy this board again. 5*'s for value on this one.

Cons: Build quality could be better.

Pros: Great Features for the Price.
Comment:
Purchased this board for use with a i5 2500K. Installation was easy and had no trouble booting or configuring. I will attempt OCing in the near future.Only issue was that one of the retention clips securing one of the chip heatsinks was broken. Easy to fix but in reality I probably could have sent it back for a replacement.

Cons: Turbo Mode voltage increase is excessive!

Pros: PriceFeaturesOverclockingUEFI bios
Comment:
I picked up this board along with an i5 2500k and a 212+ HSF. We have been able to get this CPU stable at 4.6GHz and 1.35v with great temperatures around 55C using MX-4 TIM.Originally, my friend tried the pre-set overclocking profiles in the BIOS. He set the turbo overclock to 4.0 GHz and we did some stress testing. The Turbo preset mode cranks the voltage up way too high! CPUz was reporting the voltage as 1.42 when it was running at 4.0 GHz and the temps were around 82C. This means the voltage setting in the BIOS was somewhere around 1.5-1.52V as the difference between what is set in the BIOS and what CPUz was reporting on this system were about 0.1v difference (so when we run at 1.35v, it shows about 1.25v in CPUz, so you get the idea of how high the Turbo mode went...)All in all, it is a solid board with a good layout, a solid budget overclocker, PCIe 3.0 support for the future and a fancy BIOS.

Cons: Needs bios flash or else keyboard/mouse don't work correctly on shipped bios.

Pros: -Very easy installation -Stable-UEFI BIOS-Overclocking my 2500k was a breeze.- Insanely fast boot times on. 13 sec on crappy Kingston SSD -Ivy bridge ready
Comment:
This board comes highly recommended. Have not seen a board at this price with this many features. O/C like a dream. Anything from 4.ghz to 4.4ghz stable so far. Have not test higher since I don't need that much speed. Fast bios boot is awesome. XLAN and FAST USB software are nice. I/O shield felt soft and easy to bend which I loved for some reason :P. Best board at prince range I find. You can price match for around 145$ which I did .

Cons: BIOS interface messed up when trying to use the mouse, even after latest flash.

Pros: Great board, great features, no disappointments. Cheap.

Installation went smooth. Needed low profile ram to fit my aftermarket cooler because the first two ram slots are very close to CPU. Other than that, this mobo is great!

I tried this because I was impressed with my Asus P8P67 Pro and wanted to try something new. I am very impressed and am not sure how this board at $130 is able to keep up with the high end boards!People underestimate how useful it is to have a clear CMOS, Power, and Reset button right on the motherboard. Talk about a troubleshooting dream!
