Got this with my new 3570k build. The board gave me no problems so far. I don't really like the new bios UI, and OCing blind didn't really work. So I just set the mode to OC genie since 4.2GHZ is fine for me. |

This was my first MSI MB, and my last. The board was DOA on arrival. NCIX verified this when the board was returned. This indicates poor quality control on MSI's part. And due to the shipping costs both ways, this experience completely negates any savings associated with internet orders. Would have been better off buying this board at a local computer shop. Props to NCIX for giving a refund on the board. I have ordered gigabyte many times and have never had a problem - went back with them.P.S. MSI seems ok for video cards - had good experience with them on that front... |

I have setup this motherboard with a Xeon E3-1230v2 and I had no issue. So it looks like the BIOS support Ivybridge processor out of the box. I have also installed 32gb of ram and it was detected without any issue. |

This has to be one of the easiest setup ever. The only thing I don't like about this motherboard is the placement of the sata connectors (off the side of the motherboard). The BIOS screens are a novelty, you can navigate the menus with the mouse. Great (and long overdue) improvement ! |

Pros: Everything I was looking for. The setup is nice, thought I think I could have gone with a mobo with the CPU holder a bit more to the east of where it sits had a slight issue with a mid tower case and a water cooler. That's first world problems though. Comment:

I got this board bundled with a 3570K for a great price. The board looks great and has many features for an entry level gaming board. SATA6, USB3, THX Sound, PS/2, 3 Video outputs and UEFI BIOS is awesome. Could use a few more USB 3.0 ports, and only has 2 SATA6 posts. Also, no IDE, Floppy or PCI... at least PCI slot would have been nice. Overall a great board though - works great! |

In the details it says that it does not support SLI, when in fact it does. OC Genie 2 allows for very easy overclocks to 4.2 GHz The board looks fantastic and was a joy to build on. |

Cons: -with the new 2.4 BIOS update, overvolting my CPU became a little problematic as the click bios didn't work. I eventually figured out that just manually pressing the +/- would adjust it. Minor annoyance rather than con.-A bit fussy to get into the I/O shield, but nothing too bad.
Pros: -Excellent BIOS. Super easy to navigate with Click Bios II, made overclocking my i5-2500k to 4.4 GHz a breeze.-Worked perfectly out of the box. Installed it in my new MSI Ravager case, hooked everything up and it was good to go.-Great looking color scheme matching my case. Comment:
First build where I picked out all the parts, and this is definitely a board I would recommend to others. The motherboard feels sturdy, and came with all the necessary accessories, and I cannot recommend it more. For the price point, it's perfect. |
