Cons: Freeze my computer if I insert my usb3 key before boot
Pros: Lots and lots of features, nice amount of usb 3.0 Comment:
Lots of nice features on this board like Dual gigabit ports , 10 usb at back including 6x usb3.0, latest wifi AC and bluetooth 4.0 technology.Support my 2133 ram flawlessly Using raid0 for two sata3 SSD and no bottlenecking under sata port limit Biggest con so farMy Scythe susanoo cooler is touching the ram, not enough to bend it but it does touch !Had to install windows with a usb 2.0 port |
I purchased this motherboard to go with the I7 4770k CPU and got the Kingston 16x4 stick at 1600mhz. The only issue I came across when building the PC is that I needed to use my old RAM sticks to configure the motherboard to be able to detect the Kingston sticks, without setting it to a XMP profile it wouldn't boot and wouldn't give me an option of going into the BIOS even with the BIOS switch on the motherboard. The Asus AI Suite III is an extremely cool tool but I find it overclocks the CPU too high and causes more stability issues than anything.
