Connect to the world wide webworks with windows 7wireless NCheap Slower than most other adaptors (my usb G adaptor beat it)Wireless N only detect 233. MB not a full 300 I got this mainly because it was cheap I now understand i ought to have got a a lot more high-priced card from a trusted brand such as Linksys or d-link. Great luck obtaining it to stream HD videos, and or playing any games on the web without huge lag(my usb adaptor from cisco/linksys was wirless G and i averaged a 64 ping in counter strike with this adaptor i get a ping of more than 135+ not necessarily a fantastic factor. general this operates for simple videos and browsing but any intense video watching or gaming will bring this card to a crawl =(

Works for nearly all forms of wireless routers (b/g/n).Fits completely in the PCI slot.At ษ, with two antennas at 333Mbps, its a extremely good deal compared to many others.I'm running on windows 7 and have had no issues with it, now that i have had it for a month. Can't discover any. I had to update the drivers by initially connecting to te world wide web with an ethernet cable but soon after that i have been using the wireless card at all instances.

Very, Incredibly simple to set up. Computer software presents two install modes- manual and push button. Detail level of management computer software is quite excellent. Signal strength in / out meters is a plus. Be confident you are installing in PCI two. slot. Does not function in older PCI 1.x slots. Need to have a somewhat bigger case to insert card as the antenna(s) are fixed to the card so it needs some work to set up. Not a detractor at all. Just a footnote. This card is worth each and every penny spent. I place it into an older eMachine Sempron 1.2ghz, 512mb ram. Installed eMachine updated board drivers for nVidia chipset prior to installation. Check your Motherboard for PCI two.x compliance. Best Card and Worth on the Market.

These cards are quite substantially novice proof and it doesn't take special knowledge because they are plug & play. The software and configuration setup is extremely easy. The reception is wonderful on these cards. I purchased 2 for distinct systems; a Windows XP gamer and a Windows 7 64bit Media Center. The gamer is due a refresh/upgrade. It's a wireless network card so individuals should expect too a lot. Possibly Zonet could investigation to see if adding and more antenna could boost the signal variety even additional.

I wanted to upgrade my network to wireless N, and got a really great deal. Thanks to a newegg shell shocker. They seriously perform excellent proper out the box no problem what‘s so ever. All my computers are making use of windows 7 which has drivers for it. None! If you can get it with the shell shocker deal jump on it, but at this value with free of charge shipping. IMHO it is still a fantastic deal due to the fact they just operate below windows 7 I in no way gave the windows drivers a opportunity. I employed the Ralink drivers that was on the disk and not all the other software they included.

Affordable wireless card if you definitely will need 1. In no way connects more than 135 Mbps, and even then, it in no way stays continuous. Must have been marketed as a Wireless G card as an alternative of Wireless N. I ought to have gone with a additional respected brand as an alternative of this.

ฝ on a Shell Shocker deal with free shipping. Can't get considerably more affordable. When I got it configured properly it's been rock strong. Using it to connect to a wireless G router and the speed stays at 54 Mbps. Dual antennas at this value is amazing. Not really a con but I had some confusion concerning the set up CD. I did the CD install for the drivers and config tool on a Win XP OS Pc with no issue. Once in the config tool I entered my SSID and WEP essential to connect to the router. Connected quickly. Even so, the next time I rebooted there was no connection. I looked about in the config tool and absolutely nothing seemed amiss. So, I went into Network Connections and setup the wireless connection manually with the SSID and WEP crucial. Rebooted and the Zonet was connected to the router. Apparently, the config tool doesn't hold the SSID and WEP key right after Computer shut down exactly where Windows does. Just a little bit of a mastering curve I guess.

Economical, bought on Newegg particular. I have one particular of the pre-N super-G routers, and the connection is better than any of the super-G USB or PCI adapters I've had. Only had it hang after and it's on 12-16 hours a day. Installation was straightforward. Application is relatively simple no problems with Windows XP. Absolutely nothing I've noticed. When I upgrade to N I am hoping for far more throughput. Won't give five eggs till it's lasted longer and I can compare it to other N devices. Also this is only applied for net surfing, so I cannot comment on how effectively it handles continuous loads like gaming or video streaming.

- Great signal strength in a comparatively poor signal location.- Connected to current network with small problem.- I like the integrated network software program. - Had to cut (bottom) and bend (top) the metal chassis to fit card into current PCI slot!- Driver only accessible as .exe file, really annoying Superior small piece of hardware, the moment I worked out the installation kinks...

It performs. I get a excellent signal, I went from 25% strength on my old D-Link B/G adapter to 65% strength on wireless n. The best element is that is was dirt inexpensive on shell-shocker. None.

Shellshocker deal, so excellent price tag for N speed card. Driver installed with minimal complaint on new Windows 7 install. Occasionally the connection feels like it lags fairly a bit. Exteremely noticeable if playing on the net games or streaming video. This could be related to the Netgear N router, even though, as other N devices suffer the identical latency when streaming video (Sony BD player, New Xbox both stutter when playing streaming video). Hoping to snag a new N speed router for the residence, hopefully this will resolve the laginess of the connection. This does not happen when I have these devices on my DDWRT WRT54-GL bridge.

Excellent reception and speed. According to Windows, I get a complete 130 mbps. It has not dropped connection when because I bought it. Speeds are not any distinct from a wired connection. I can play multilayer games without having any difficulties. The antennas are not detachable and don't swivel 360 degrees, but this is not really a difficulty for me. The machine this card is in is about 15 feet from my router. That's not a lot of space, but I've taken it all through my two-story home and it nevertheless connects flawlessly. I just installed the drivers and let the Windows utility connect. That's what I advise undertaking rather of working with their utility.

None. Says that its still connected with 4Ǜ bars but stops sending/receiving packets. Not a challenge with the router due to the fact three other computer systems in property work flawlessly.Highly variable download rates - downloads anyplace from -20 kbps for several hours to 1.5MBps (with a max dl speed of 2MBps). Not ISP throttling since all other computer systems in residence ƒǛ bars cxn strength) download extremely consistently at 800-1000kbps. Zonet need to have taken several shortcuts in the making of the card itself to afford to sell this card (which has a excellent chipset) so cheaply.
