Quick for the price tag, cool temp, Hdmi, plays a lot of up to date games and uncomplicated install not 256 bit but the cost explains that, the fan can be a small noise but i can live with that good card for the cash

Zotac makes excellent cards. Got this on sale so that's a bonus. Inexpensive selection for CUDA support. Simple install. Card runs cool and quiet. Totally free and rapid shipping from newegg. Lifetime restricted warranty. Incredibly happy. None as of however but maintain in mind that this is not a gaming card. Unless you're playing genuinely old games I wouldn't propose this card for something but CUDA support or day to day desktop use. Also, I'm not in a position to set the fan speed with nvclock in Linux. I had to crank the fan up on my old card when it got hot but this Zotac is operating cool all by itself so I'm not even worried about it. I got this card for vdpau support on my Linux box with a dual core Opteron that was overheating when playing h264. Soon after upgrading drivers and rebuilding mplayer with the nvidia patches it's running like a charm. Big improvement over the old 7600 GT I had in there. This card does all the operate so my Opteron stays nice and cool. No far more overheating and I can enjoy 1080p all day extended with out worrying about it. This is a excellent upgrade for people with older hardware that want to watch HD content.

Outstanding video card for the funds. This was purchased to replace a stock Nvidia 128 MB card that had failed in a Dell. Simple to set up, and Windows 7 went out and discovered the newest drivers from the net. Efficiency boost over the old card was massive! Graphics intensive games are much snappier now than with the old card. Software program includes capacity to overclock and to manually handle the fan. I just left it at the defaults. The fan is not noticeable at all (the Dell itself is louder) and hardly seems to run, even when gaming. My boys are extremely delighted with this, and so am I. None to this point.

Great buy for the price tag. I place collectively a price range gaming machine. Soon after comparing a handful of of them i picked this one. By no means utilized ZOTAC prior to but i like what i have skilled. None Never ever had a dilemma with cooling yet but that under no circumstances stopped all my other cards from overheating.

The NVIDIA GPU handles DXVA greater than the ATI. I'm employing it in an HTPC set-up, so I needed a thing that can do DXVA, for "Format profile: Higher@LX.X" above 4.1. My ATI 4650 couldn't maintain up with that. Also NVIDIA manage panel enables for additional custom resolutions, better for my Samsung 50" DLP....... The fan is a louder than my earlier card but I can't hear it more than the Tv/Stereo anyway. Does not impact image high quality. Pros - Considerably quieter then my GT8500. 1gb of memory is undoubtedly noticeable when compared to my 512mb. Not a enormous difference mind you, but web web page images load more rapidly and fps improved 20% in most games. Appears to run cool under a load (per Nvidia temp readings). Quite strong construction from Zotac. Value per efficiency could be lower. Would be a deal at 49.99. I have a Dell 8400 which I am nursing along till I figure out how and when to create the subsequent one particular. Computer system is bottle-necked by a Pentium 4 Ɠ.4ghz). After 7 years, it nevertheless runs fine. Dilemma is most games now are optimized for duel core. Very best I can do is place in a superior graphics card (memory is maxed). I am a WoW player ƕ years) so it's my chief game. This card surely stabilized frame prices in raids and the complete texture of the game seems sharper and much more distinct. I am also handicapped with a 300 watt power supply, so this card match the bill. If it lasts the year, I'll amend this and five egg it in a heart beat.

It's a wonderful little card for the cost. Runs good and drivers are practically unnecessary. it was just plug and play for me. 1 of the ideal things about this card in my mind is the slimness of it. It fits perfectly into one particular PCI.E slot and doesn't take up any area. If only it was Crossfire prepared you could run two side by side and not drop any PCI slots.Fan looks cool and the box it came with is art.stays a lot cool even on loads. wasn't cost-free

Popped this in simply, came in excellent shape, effortless to install. The ad right here & the box says 'Two DVI' ports, but it comes with only 1 DVI port and 1 VGA port. I knew this when I bought it (Thanks to preceding critiques) and only required one DVI port.So if you Need TWO DVI PORTS - DO NOT Obtain THIS CARD! The information right here is false and the box its self is false. (First time I ever noticed that truly, from newegg or a vid card!) The only thing this lacks is 256 bit, but the value difference of 贄 makes up for that.

I got this nearly a year ago to upgrade my old Dell Dimension 5100 (P4 3.0ghz) which was struggling with 720p and couldn't even touch 1080p video. This was the finest card my power provide could deal with. Video playback is fantastic, and CPU usage with 720p is only five-20%, exactly where in the past it was 40-60%. 1080p is playable with 50% CPU, but frame rate can suffer when there's a lot of action going on. Surely CPU bottle-necked even though, not a fault of the card.I also run BOINC, and can get an average function score of about 2000 on SETI with this card. Not excellent, but it positive beats the couple hundred I was getting with only the P4. Some codecs mess with the audio when playing video above 720p. Didn't come about with my old card, but it's not a massive deal to change the settings in the media player.Temps can get quite high beneath load, even at stock settings. 80c though running BOINC isn't uncommon. Never ever triggered any instability although, so no purpose to subtract an egg. A good alternative for an old Pc/low end power provide.

HDMI, VGA, and DVI output.Fan.No want for 6pin power. DDR2, isn't the base typical at minimum DDR3 now? For the price tag it is a very good card. I put this in a friends fresh build. All he wanted was to play Planet of Warcraft, and it will play it on High settings on his 1440x900 19"w monitor, at about 27fps steady, and Good settings at about 35fps constant.

I got this to watch streaming video on my tv... an older card could not give the frame rate that I necessary...this worked perfectly. Has 3 outputs, if you include the HDMI, but it seems that only two of them can be used at a time... selectable by means of windows. This appears odd...I would have anticipated that the third could at least mirror one particular of the other people. I did not fight with this for lengthy, as it was not specifically critical for my use...but thought I would point it out.

Wonderful card to upgrade to since it has three different output ports for any type of source also fantastic ammount of onboard DDR2 memory Ƒgb) also wonderful resolution for a 42' LCD outputting in 1080p....fantastic cooling and great space saver in your case plus no need for a 6-pin power source Does not output video in fresh built laptop or computer, meaning if you plop it in without installing some type of Nvidia drivers the card doesn't output a video source on any of its three ports......fail Nvidia requirements to put some flippin drivers on thier card so that this card can be employed proper out of the box in a new computer system...ive built two computers utilizing this exact same card and its done the very same thing to me....very frustrating to install but nevertheless a fantastic UPGRADE card
