Fantastic lil card runs games excellent basic install. Much much less issues with drivers than ati. Get superior overall performance than equivalent priced cards as well. Sooo hot I can essentially feel heat radiate from that area of my case. With further fan cooling the card. Dont neglect to register for warranty bring about I could see that becoming problem.

- I am certain it would be a wonderful performing card if it have been to function w/ my show.- Bitstreaming operates wonderful more than HDMI- Does about 11K ppd for F@H Does not operate at all w/ the 27" iMac by way of DisplayPort. It performs for the duration of POST/boot up but after it loads the drivers for Windows the screen goes blank. Manufacturer Response:It may possibly be a diver problem. I adore the truth that this card is not a reference design and has exhausted cooling through the back slots. Seriously aids with my method design and style and general cooling.Card has fantastic create top quality and cooler appears solid. I did pull mine apart to apply AS-five to the chip (I would recommend, Zotac's thermal paste was caked on and all crusty), but not a con; I'm positive it would have worked wonderful without this further work.Does what it's suppose to do and I've encountered no difficulties thus far. At the moment operating as the secondary card in my SLI + PhysX setup and idles at 38c (with 3 vid cards installed, that's no mean feat - although not certain how a lot the AS-five is assisting here).Overclocked to 800񳈰񳏀 and could probably get greater when alone, but with my overclocked SLI GTX 460's and overclocked 9800 GT for PhysX, this is as higher as my program would let me get devoid of artifacts. Fan is a little noisy. As in, it's louder than my Gigabyte dual fan GTX 460 in the similar computer system, whether or not at load or idle, even when straight controlling fan speeds. Not actually a problem, but Zotac could genuinely jump into the mainstream if they start off seeking into the tiny things such as this. All-in-all, a fantastic card and a suggested get assuming fan noise is a non-challenge for a potential purchaser.Phenom II x2 555 @ 4.2 ྴx 210 FSB)Cooler Master V8MSI nForce 980aKingston HyperX Ɣ x 2GB) DDR3 1600SLI1: Zotac GTX 460 1GB @ 800񳈰񳏀SLI2: Gigabyte GTX 460 1GB @ 800񳈰񳏀Devoted PhysX: Gigabyte 9800 GT @ 700񳋸뭎RAID0 Boot: Dual OCZ Onyx 30GBRAID0 Storage: Dual WD Caviar Blue 500GBቬMBDual ASUS 24x DVD+/-RWAntec EarthWatts 750WAntec Six Hundred w/ PWM Side FanWindows 7 Premium 64-bit

Look no further this card is at a good value, OCs effectively, sips power, and is way quicker than the similarly energy efficient HD5770.* Solid construct* little size* the cooler truly vents out the back, due to the fact of design. But certainly not the greatest cooler out there. * lowest costing GTX-460 1GB 256bit DDR5* plays SC2 flawlessly @ 1680x1050 at stock clocks. * running on my Thermaltake 430W PSU (over three years old)Every person else pretty much covered it. Nothing at all terrible to say about this card at all....just make confident you register your card inside 30 days of buy otherwise you won't get the Limited Lifetime Warranty, 2 years warranty for all cards that aren't registered or registered outdoors the 30 day period. It's posted at the zotacusa web site beneath warranty. The 450W PSU requirement is based off of systems operating the core i7 processor. I'm running it with a Thermaltake TR2 430W PSU Gigabyte G41M-ES2L motherboardIntel PDC E6500 @ 3.66GHz4GB A-Data DDR2-800Vista Ult. 64

Affordable, you can't beat the price on this, the prefomance you get in sli is as very good as many highend cards. Can run in sliMore than clocks to 800 mhz with ease. Runs cool, when i only have 1 the card always remain beneath 50 c with fans on 70%In sli the leading card stays beneath 75c with the bottom at 50c It can be a pain to get all the settings correct to run these to the fullest, but when you do these cards are incredible

Good performance,Wonderful noise level, barely noticeable in my machine even under loadHave had really couple of issues Have seasoned a handful of glitches with LFD2, but it has not crashed fully like with my buddies gtx 465. Runs nicely, had an issue with Samsung monitor, had to allow low HDMI blacks level in the menu of the monitor, the image looked grey at very first. Right after that the image high quality is truly fantastic. Not going to deduct any eggs as my issues are most likely not associated to the card itself, have a slow x2 240 processor which has problems keeping up I believe. Excellent card, I got it for 150 with rebates, fantastic price for functionality. Pondering of adding an additional a single later following altering the mobo and the CPU.

Card is smaller sized than the GTX 260 it replaced.Displayport output works with the 27" iMac (released mid 2010) if you set up the official NVidia drivers. Installation manuals and technical support leave a lot to be preferred. No mention of the Displayport out in the manual at all. Technical support could not support me get the Displayport output functioning with an iMac. This card has a Displayport output that does not perform with an iMac as an external monitor, Till you set up the official NVidia drivers. This is not mentioned in the installation manual and tech assistance could not point me in this path.

So far it runs good. Operating fairly stable with Furmark in sli setup. However, the max temps for the leading card is operating max 90C and the bottom card operating 80C. Airflow is excellent in the case, even with side case open. I can get the air gap amongst the leading and bottom cards is quite thin. To be expected. I can a no cost x8 slot in the motherboard but the case won't let the card to fit. So far so great. I'll run the cards for a couple of hours and see how that goes. I'm just concerned as others have ran these cards with max temps of 75C. Anyone have suggestions?

-Low power consumption-Quiet-Cool-Very reasonably priced-Smaller-Excellent tesselation efficiency. This card is good! It idles at about 38c and maxes out at about 82c (not overclocked). This will fit in just about any laptop case out there (slightly shorter than 8.five inches). Fan under no circumstances goes above 30 percent usage, and even then it's nonetheless just about as noisy as my case fans. Given that it's an NVIDIA card, drivers aren't really an concern....so that's a pro. Fan appears to not run above 70%, i'm not certain if that's a problem with the card itself or the computer software i'm making use of (EVGA Precision).*When I initial put this in, it received a 7.2 on the Windows Expertise Index. Shorty after, my computer was telling me I had new hardware and the test had to be redone, so I re-ran the assessment. It received a 7. instead of a 7.2, i'm not confident how much that matters but that's some thing to note. Also, I have not messed with the clock speeds at all so I honestly have no idea why the score lowered.* I've under no circumstances purchased a ZOTAC but this card is excellent. I'm not sure if other individuals have been acquiring faulty cards but the fan generally spins at 850-1000 RPM, which tends to make it about as audible as your standard case fan. When installing, make certain you entirely wipe all traces of any previous drivers from your program, or you WILL run into difficulty. Lastly, make sure you're not bottlenecking it with a undesirable CPU and you should have a good knowledge.

Bought two of these for SLI. A single ran extremely cool, alone or in SLI, other ran 20-30 degrees C hotter alone or in SLI, so sent it back. The 1 I kept is completely great, way worth the money in particular when you get a cost-free game with it. A single card ran too hot, had to send back. Most gamers will not want SLI. I run battlefield two maxed with 60fps min. Only game Ive played that runs 30 fps is metro2033. Huge bargain for the buck here.

-Bang for the buck (MIR + newegg coupon code)-Idles at 32-34C* (ambient temperature 25C)-Loads at 64-68C*-Free of charge Game, Prince of Persia-Wonderful overclocking prospective-A lot of ports-Short card-Cool and Quiet*-Lifetime warranty* = other thoughts -Card can get really incredibly loud. Drove me almost to the brink of insanity*-Card can get incredibly hot as nicely*-No HDMI cord or displayport adapter included* = other thoughts This card demands a bit of tinkering to reach its complete prospective. I have read many reviews from tomshardware, techreport, anandtech, guru3d and techpowerup just before getting this card. All have stated that the card is not as effective at cooling and noticeably louder than other gtx 460's. I bought it anyways mainly because it was significantly less costly. Plugged the sucker in and seen that the reviews had been proper. Card idles at 40C and reaches 90C through game loads. I have an Antec 300 with 4 fans and great cable management so airflow is not a problem.MSI Afterburner is a Have to HAVE for this card. The voltage on the card can be lowered and the fan profile can be customized as well. After optimizing the card, it is Significantly quieter and averages around 60C on load even with the fan at a lower RPM. If you want to go even additional, you can reapply thermal compound to the heatsink to enhance cooling. Overall, an outstanding purchase. Soon after tweaking, it is just as cool and quiet as other GTX 460'

Excellent value, Prince of Persia The Forgotten Sands is awesome but this card blows by it so much that i got 600+fps on it and had to enable vsync XD mainly because of the screen tearing. I had not idea what graphics card i need to get, my purpose was to be capable to play WoW with 60fps everywhere but dalaran and i got my wish!. Installation was a hastle, had to install all the drivers and then uninstall them and then re-install it and it worked. It will take up four of your molex connectors, so i am down two fans in my case appropriate now. I have noticed a few artifacts through intense gameplay. AND THE Reason I GAVE IT A fourǛ is due to the fact it does not display 1920x1080p appropriately on my monitor. I have an Insignia 47" LCD screen, and if i go to that high a res then is does not display issues appropriately. My present operating resolution is 1680x900 This is the biggest it has gone whilst still displaying properly, i was actually searching forward to 1920x1080 but its ok, i can play WoW at 60fps, im additional than content. And BTW i am capable to record with fraps at 45fps no problem for these who are interested in that information. My initial video card i have ever purchased, its fairly huge in size and i dont know what peoples complications are, its fairly, cool and looks Awesome! I hope you all go out and get one particular. I am not interested in Hawx 2 and have for that reason not installed it however.

Newegg - rocks as generally.Zoatc has none - uncover one more vendor who will stick to-up on what they say and not leave you hanging in the dark devoid of a working Computer. Designed a RMA for defective card - which was overheating and crashing my system. Was promised a replacement card as soon as they got mine (and have the e mail stating that). So far no replacement card and no replies to e-mails/voicemails. Has been over four weeks because I sent in my defective card. Will be contacting BBB to report Zotac. Examine google for 'Zotac complications' and you will see they are sending video cards/motherboards to Hong Kong to be repaired and then returned back to finish user and not giving any ETA for return. Lifetime warranties don't imply something if Zotac can't even honor what they promise you and don't even have the courtesy to communicate what's going on to the end buyer. Remain away from Zotac, I'm not the only a single who has skilled this level of no buyer service use google. Decide on a larger far more reliable business like EVGA or XFX (ATI video cards only of course). Zotac has lost a repeat customer. Not only will I by no means get a different Zotac item, nor will I refer my buddies to this firm either. Manufacturer Response:I apologize for your expertise with ZOTAC's RMA division. It is uncommon for turnaround to take longer than 30 days! If there is a problem with your RMA, a representative really should have contacted you in regards to any delay. Please send me an e mail at Patti@zotacusa.com with your RMA# and I will personally look into your RMA situation. If you have an existing Help Ticket, you can also reply and address it to me (Patti) as effectively. Finest, Patti

Bang for the buck is amazing. I haven't run into anything that in SLI these guys can't handle. Running Undesirable Organization two 1920 x 1080 with max settings and 32QxAA, 16X AF staying above 60FPS. I can officially say I can run Crysis/C:Warhead absolutely maxed lol. The cooler is a bit loud. Not an concern when gaming, but can hear it fluctuate for the duration of intense action when the two of them get going. (It is silent when idle at 30% fan). Couple of fast notes. In the course of furmark the best card topped out at 86C, bottom at 81C - this is with a slight overclock to 750񳇌 core/shader and 3800 mem. Through the most intense gameplay the top will max at around 75C, which are quite very good temps. At these comfy settings I am hitting 28k - 29k in vantage with overall performance settings. The GTX 260롰s (decently overclocked) they replaced were at 20k and were nowhere near the ingame experience I am obtaining. If you do intend on SLI setup make confident you have sufficient juice from your CPU to keep up with it!

Not loud. keeps cool. runs at 32-42C at idle and 60's-70's with high finish games only. I can run negative firm 2 at high settings with only a small choppiness when a lot of stuff is blowing up. Going to SLI this card as soon as the price tag drops to fix that problem. One particular isnt adequate for max settings at 1900x1200 in some games. SLI even though will be much more than adequate. the overclock utility that came with the card is junk. download someone elses.

The cards are installed in a sli setup on a Gigabyte x58a ud3r motherboard with an Antec 1200 case. Both cards are installed in the PCIe x16 slots so the air gap is incredibly tiny. Each cards are stable running Furmark, but right here's the concern: The 1st card runs amongst low and mid 90C and the bottom card runs about low to mid 80C temperature. I could install the bottom card in the x8 slot but double slot won't fit in the case. So far I'm content with the cards as long as the temps are stable. Before opening the side and running a box fan, testing every single card individually with Furmark, each cards were running at 80c max temps. I guess as extended as it doesn't heat up above the Tj Max 104C it'll be fine. I do strategy on operating Seti and folding on these. Is the high temps normal for a GTX 460 SLI setup?
