Max on BF2BC, L4D2, L4D, COD and each other game I own. Able to locate the cats that had been shooting me that I couldn't see prior to. Upgraded from 5770 and it is a enhance. None. For gaming on a price range this hits the sweet spot. I upgrade each 2 years so this ought to carry me over till they invent DX14.newegg is the only place I shop.

I can play fairly substantially any game maxed out @ 1080p at a higher framerate. Left four Dead 2 usually gets me about 200 FPS and I can play Crysis maxed out on Incredibly High with an acceptable framerate.Good overclocking card, you can get it up to 6870 stock speeds out of the box.Incredibly quiet, even more so than my old 5770. I haven't observed the fan speed go over 50% even when under load.Runs cool, generally idles somewhere in the 35C-40C variety and won't go over 60C-65C below load.Low power consumption, and I'm floored it only utilizes 1 6 pin connection. I don't assume any other comparable card on the market utilizes only 1 power connection. Certainly bigger than my old video card and requires up 2 slots on my tower, but I've got lots of room. For those with smaller sized cases, this could be an challenge.Nonetheless prefer NVIDIA's driver assistance over ATI/AMD. It doesn't get updated typically enough and I hate the new CCC. I just use Sapphire's Trixx tool instead. Bought this as a replacement for a nonworking HIS 5770. I'm absolutely happy with this card. While it's not a giant efficiency leap like a 6970맜 GTX would give, there's undoubtedly a considerable functionality get. It's crazy seeing how much efficiency you get with approximately 赀.

Quiet, Rapid, Overclocks EasilyI got it on sale. Greatest Value performance/$$$ None I flashed the card with the Sapphire Toxic bios 齴񳀼) and it performs wonderful. My card came with the 13.010 bios.I went to www.techpowerup.com/vgabios and downloaded the sapphire bios dated 12-13-2010 also a 13.010 version. You have to add the -f to force the flash with ATIFlash.I study about some guys flashing to a 6870 bios to get larger clocks. I tried it with the Sapphire 12-8-2010 13.010 bios and the card wouldn't boot. Oops! Had to flash back to the 6850 with my backup pci card. Operating good at 820񳀼. If I want a lot more speed, I fire up the Sapphire Trixx app and run it at 950񳁮

Overclocks nicely - 940񳁮 rock strong with a voltage bump to 1.174v. Only demands a single 6-pin PCI-E power connector and doesn't demand a monster power supply, by far a single of the best power/efficiency cards out there. Crysis two runs on max settings at 1680x1050 with 40-50fps with the OC. Outdoes a stock 6870 at those settings. Could not get voltage handle to operate in Sapphire's TriXX tool, had to use most up-to-date version of MSI Afterburner rather. I don't think the RAM modules are cooled, only the GPU is attached to the heatsink. ATI drivers are at times questionable - 11.two is main negative, 11.four Early Preview is awesome stuff.

1. Good worth for your dollarstwo. Puts out sufficient to max out most games Doesn't make toast. Im running this card now for about 6 months and no troubles. Operating Black Ops at nearly max settings on 1920x1080 28" monitor no troubles. If you crank it to max settings ྰx aa or whatever) the game slows to like 40fps from time to time, which is unplayable.

Excellent functionality vs my old 4890 card.Uses much less energy than my old card.Significantly quieter than my old card.Runs cool - just have very good ventilation for your case.Functions good with antialiasing turned on.Great price. I had the card for six days, and the card started to show some artifacting and minor distortion. I could see tiny green dots flickering across the desktop and on some applications. I under no circumstances noticed the flickering dots in a game, but a speedy search on the net recommended that I get a replacement, so I filed an RMA. Up till the sixth day of ownership, I was completely happy with my purchase.I don't overclock, the temperatures had been fine, and I never noticed any efficiency concerns, so the only issue that's left is that it was a manufacturing defect. I've sent the card back for an RMA, and I'm hunting forward to receiving the new replacement card. I do recommend this card. I just got unlucky.Games I play: L4D, L4D2, Battlefield BC2ǘ, Call of Duty 4/BO, CSS, Dirt 2, Dragon Age, Garry's Mod, Just Result in two, Killing Floor, Supreme Commander two, TF2, Minecraft, GTA IV.I had awesome overall performance in all of those games with this card.

low-cost Will only drive a single monitor. Suspect Dead outputs on on other outputs. Dead since day one. No customer phone service. No assist. DVD supplied did NOT even cover this board and was for various models. Worse than my 8-year old Matrox board which has never failed me... Sapphire, IMO, is junk out of the box. Obtain anything else. Starve this company....Do not buy. Waste of time. No excellent manage.

Fantastic card. Upgraded from a pair of 1GB 4870s. A bit slower, but a considerably better remedy. Card runs very quietly and requires up much less physical space than a 4870. Plays almost everything maxed out with my C2D E8500 @ 4.5ghz. None to speak of. Great card, pondering about adding a second for Crossfire. I had superb benefits overclocking the card above and beyond 6870 speeds with Afterburner as properly. 950񳁤 with a smaller voltage bump IIRC.

It can do three monitors. Or in my case two monitors + 15 foot cable to the Television. Functions fantastic, just what I wanted. I put this card into a Computer that's 5 years old. It can play Starcraft II just fine simply because of this card, so it now does every thing I want to do and there is no need to acquire a new computer system for an additional year or two. The only con that I see with this card is that later on when the fan gets dusty it will be difficult to clean it.

I am quite content with this certain video card. I have two in crossfire in a i7 gaming rig. They are cool and quiet most of the time. They max out any game on the marketplace such as metro 2033 and Crysis two !!! The only con is with Sapphire corporation. I bought two of these because of the fantastic deal after mail in rebate.I mailed every thing the firm asked for. Unfortunately, I haven't heard anything from them given that like 3 months ago. WILL NOT DEAL WITH THIS Firm Anymore EXCEPT IF THEY Fix THIS Concern !!! SEE ABOVE ^^^^

Incredibly very good overall performance, I can play any game with all the settings turned up to max on 1920x1200 with extremely very good framerates. The card is also very quiet even below load and the temperatures remain inside reasonable range. I can't feel of any actual cons. In my certain scenario this card blocked a pci slot i was working with for a firewire card but this is distinctive to my setup and i wouldn't look at that a actual con. A good upgrade more than my 4850, if for nothing at all other than to not have to hear that jet engine of a fan it had.

* Low energy consumption* Only needs 1 PCIe six pin connection* Comes with longer crossfire bridge* Fantastic efficiency for 180.00.* Not a incredibly major card. It's about the exact same size as a dual slot 3870.* Idle temps were about 36C. Below the load of the 1 game I tested on it didn't get higher than 60C. None but... Didn't get from Newegg due to the fact I needed it very same day. At initial use, it's a good performing card. I have only tested it on LOTRO. Utilised the "ultra high" graphics settings selection in the game, and I thought I heard the card laughing...As soon as I get additional testing carried out, I'll repost results.

For the price tag, this card can do just about any resolution in single-display gaming, but I upgraded from 4850 to do a 3x1 Eyefinity making use of 1680x1050 displays. I can get the full 5040x1050 in the HL2 series, higher particulars, looks fantastic. In BF:BC2 I have to back off to the subsequent lowest resolution 3840x800, but man oh man, does Eyefinity truly give the game that extra depth. I can see how the extra horsepower of a much more high-priced card could come in handy, but this card is so worth it at the price they were asking...and there is constantly the eventual card in crossfire to bump up frame rates. Con, this isn't really a con, but beware that you have to get an active Displayport-to-DVI dongle if you don't have a Displayport-enabled monitor to get the 3x1 Eyefinity. I did along with this card - the N82E16814999030. Don't even try to use any VGA. My setup is the dp-to-DVI adapter to DVI monitor, DVI-to-DVI monitor, and a HDMI-to-DVI cable that I had lying about. All digital, no issues, and it all plugs in uncomplicated on the back of the card. I wonder if the card would run quicker with a more modern CPU than my Q6700...that may well be holding this card back a bit.Been pushing this card pretty difficult given that x-mas, and never had any freezes, crashes, and so on. This is my 3rd Sappire card and they appear to provide the value.

Makes use of only one particular six-pin. This is very important for men and women who attempt to upgrade their Dell-like machines. Fits in my little-cased beneath-powered Dell XPS 435mt nicely (stock 350W power provide). Utilizes about the similar quantity of power as the 8800GT it replaces. A correct mid-range king! None. With this low power requirement, it would be nice if they can come up with a single-slot version for older Computer's.

This plays all my 2009 games on highest settings, stays cool, appears cool, crossfire performs fantastic, the dvd upscaling is amazing! A lot of my dvds appear like hd on the huge screen. Surround view! are you kidding me? The list doesn't go this high on advised hardware specs. for some new games. Great luck obtaining audio options, and when you hook the computer up to the t.v. to watch a movie, and then you play a game, the game's sound won't automatically perform over the hdmi, it's still trying to play more than the default audio device.
