This is the first time I've owned a netbook, but I've played with numerous. And this one surely does what I've necessary it to. Wonderful battery life. While you have to recall, to get the advertised battery life of 13 hours, you have to literally turn Every little thing to low-energy mode, meaning it's seriously challenging to play games, or watch hi-def motion pictures.Quick laptop or computer. This thing is unbelievably fast for its size, specifically if you get a 2GB stick of RAM. Plays most of the older games I've put on it (Fallout Tactics, Elite Force, Starcraft) and can output hi-def motion pictures. Windows 7 Starter. I don't know what Microsoft was considering when they came out with this OS. Formatted the netbook the second I bought it, and installed XP.Smudges. The outside of the netbook shows smudges/fingerprints effortlessly. Quite a lot have to wipe it off every time I touch it. Remember, if you go to install a new OS, you have to use an external DVD-drive to install it, as it does not come with a DVD drive. I didn't even assume to look and verify if it had a DVD drive when I bought it, but luckily I had an external USB DVD drive lying around.
