I bought this card for my friend for his gaming rig and he has been very pleased with it, it runs very cool, the fan is almost unnoticeable, and he can run every game on max settings with no issues

Cons: GPU stuck at 300MHZ down from 900MHZ sometime, if stuck, it won't come back till restart. ATI Driver will bring the GPU speed to 300MHZ when idle, and should bring it back to normal when loaded. However, this is always not the case. It happens pretty often that the GPU speed will stuck at 300MHZ when loaded which make this 6870 work like my old 2600. what make it worse is that if it is stuck, only restarting computer can resolve the issue (I hate doing this cause I have to close and save everything and abandon my existing simulation(from my work))

Pros: fast and cheap

I found the similar complain on many web site, so I am pretty sure this is not a single case. I try to contact sapphire but found out they have no technical support in North America, only email. I will try to contact they via phone if they do not reply my email, and ncix don't have a solution on this issue.

Only the second time I've gone with AMD over nvidia. can't say I'm disappointed. There's nothing wrong with the card. I've had a couple issues with the drivers. each new driver seems to solve a problem yet create  a new one but it's slowly getting ironed out. I think I'll stick with ati next time as well. I'm hoping to find this on sale so I can buy a second one^^

Pros: Sapphire gives you all the cords and adapters you need. Apparently other brands do not do the same. Strong performance for the price

Fast delivery since I ordered the card on Tuesday and recieved it on Thursday. It replaced my 5750 sapphire vapor x. I can run recent games on max settings and stay at 60 fps and have no lag while running fraps. I get roughly 30 fps with Rift on max settings on a 1920x1080. But Rift seems to have a lot of settings that are GPU intensive, so I don't know how it compares to the more popular games out there. I dont think anyone will have a problem. No problems with the drivers. The fan is quiet even at 100%. Just fits my mid-range tower. The PCI-e plugs are on the side, which is good for people with limited space. A very good mid-range budget card with tons of positive reviews. Just got it, but so far so good.

Very good, better than crossfire'd 5770s and cheaper too.at 239.99 its a competitive price point. There are many options. Apparently, AMD had driver issues sometimes. But with this card i've had no issues. Recommended buy but with the 6950 out for just alittle more...yeah all depends on ur budget. This will play games at ultra settings smoothly though!

Cons: Can be VERY loud when playing very demanding gamesCrossfire, not so amazing.ATI Drivers (Bunch of annoying bugs, and crashes)2 Cards, 2 different boards, 2 different heat sink, same Chipset!

Pros: Quite (without to big of a load)FastGood Upgrade

I got my first card a few weeks ago, and I was VERY impressed. Every game I threw at it I could play on max, or at least VERY close. When I got my second card apparently they ship out 2 different versions. The one you see in the image above, or the heat sink on the Sapphire 6850 (Link: http://ncix.com/products/?sku=56384&vpn=11180-00-20R&manufacture=SAPPHIRE) After a bit of mucking around, I found out they are the same card (same chipset, same basic layout) just different heat sink/ board. When running crossfire there is an improvement, but not even close to performance I was expecting. Some games you will notice ZERO increase in fps, while others you do notice around 10-30 fps more.I Did do a few benchmark tests with 3D Mark 11 with free license (720p)P4165 3DMarks - No Crossfire.. P7320 3DMarks - With Crossfire.. So yes there is a good improvement, but appears only in select  games / programs! Conclusion: good graphics cards, better in crossfire (with select  games), normally quite sometimes gets loud (with a huge load),

Cons: A little bit expensive compared to other similar performing cardsFan gets really loud if it goes over 30%Driver has some issues, let's hope ATI releases a new one soon

Pros: Good price/performanceReference designSapphire qualityEyefinity and all that exclusive AMD featuresRuns cool

I bought the Sapphire reference card specifically since it had included the most accessories compared to other brands like XFX, gigabyte, powercolor. Just to name a few Sapphire included a display port to mini-display port adapter, a hdmi 1.4a (newest version) cable, D-sub adapter and a crossfire bridge connectors which other brands didn't include.

i upgraded from a pair of Sapphire hd 5770 in xfire. the gain isn't as much as i thought it would be! dx11 apps big gain heaven 2.1 the 5770's got 31.9 fps and this 6870 got 38.9. but in dx10 aps like 3d mark vantage the 5770's gpu scored 18476 and the 6870 gpu scored 16923! but the drivers are still cat 10-10. but still love the perks of this card. i can always add another one for xfir would still recomend it good card. look forword to tweaking it more. hope that amd updates the drivers in near future!
