Cons: Mine had issues with artifacting and freezing. This doesn't reflect every 7950 ever made by Sapphire, just my own experience.
Pros: One of the best stock coolers out there. Remains quiet, and stays under 60c while gaming, ~70c while stress testing. Good performance. |

Cons: will force me to update from skt775 to sandy or ivy...11 inches so be aware of that.had a little moment about the hdmi audio, dont install the one in the ati drivers, use one of the realtek hdmi codec.
Pros: runs coolsilent !dual bios in case something goes south...will force me to update from skt775 to sandy or ivy... Comment:
plays the games i like at 1080p perfectly after fidling a little with the audio driver to get sound over hdmi to the big screen. |

WOW....what a beast! This card can handle any game i throw at it with flying colors. I upgraded from a Asus 4870 and what a difference, my 4870 could only handle Skyrim (1920x1080) at medium settings with good fps, the 7950 handles it on Ultra High with full distance detail and high AA/AF. Bad Company 2 looks like a completely new game on DX11. The new drivers just released on 03/09/2012 work alot better than the ones that came with the card. I looked at alot of other video cards and reviews, and I was thinking of getting the XFX DD 7950, but this one was in stock and had more silent fans and also room for high overclocks which I have not done yet as it works awesome out of the box! |
My 4th Sapphire card, and despite my problems with this one, I would consider buying from them again, as I've been happy with all my previous Sapphire cards, and there were some good pros about the cooling solution on this one. I decided to return it and reconsider upgrading in the future.
