Cons: More battery life.

Pros: Size, speed, looks, screen.
Comment:
This replaces my previous Asus EEE Pc 1000HA and its a nice step up in performance and looks. This netbook is lighter, faster, and more beautiful than any previous EEE PC. The keyboard is easy to type on. I think this will make a great University Student daily use computer. The mouse pad was easily the best surprise. It is almost completely invisible but it works perfectly; way better than my former netbook. I also like the bigger screen 12" vs 10". While 10" is useable, 12" makes multiple windows that much easier.2GB of memory is a must for a machine with Win7 and this has it; and its not Win7 Starter either; which I appreciate.

Cons: -No Bluetooth-No USB 3.0 ports-Italian Keyboard

Pros: -Plays 1080p, both flash streams and Bluray perfectly with the right codec.-Powerful enough to play most current generation computer games.-Good speed for general tasks and multitasking.-Thin design
Comment:
I was a little disappointed that this netbook didn't have all of the premium features such as any kind of Bluetooth, USB 3.0 and for some reason it had an Italian keyboard (Luckily I don't usually look at the keyboard when typing. Also, was I the only one who got this?). The camera isn't exactly something to be ecstatic about and it seems like it was just planted in there just to have it there. The keyboard could be slightly better (aside from the Italian thing), but I don't find it all that flimsy like other people do. I've seen Asus keyboards much worse. If it weren't for these issues I would give it a perfect 5 stars. Cons aside, I got this netbook as an upgrade from my Eee PC 1000 HE because it was too sluggish and didn't fit my lifestyle too well. The battery life on the 1215N is probably a few hours less than the 1000 HE, but that is to be expected with the 1215N having a smaller battery, twice the processing capabilities, the larger screen, and the extra graphical capabilities of the Nvidia processor. The average battery life for daily use such as watching some 1080p Youtube videos, some light gaming, and word processing puts the battery life at around 6 hours with the display at half brightness. Full brightness and gaming to the max all day (ie. Minecraft), and 1080p Blurays put the battery life closer to 4 hours. The sleek design I enjoy over the 1000HE which was bulky and heavy. The 1215N actually weighs less than the 1000HE when I compared them with the batteries in. The trackpad is another attractive feature and doesn't have buttons that stick out, hanging over the sides. On the 1000HE I would always accidentally bump the buttons or due to the cramped spacing of the keyboard/trackpad I would accidentally tap the trackpad when typing causing my cursor to skip around. Also, the trackpad doesn't feel so much like sandpaper.Overall, with the good features and the bad weighed against one another, I give this netbook a 3.4/5.
