Economical, Fantastic sized keyboard for my size 7 1ǘ hands, 1 two" screen a should, very good battery life four 1ǘ hours. This is my initially laptop of any kind. I like its portability, ease of use. It is rapidly adequate to send high quality netflix films to my large screen. It is incredibly quiet and functions just about everywhere. I only require my desktop for film and photo editing now. I don't like all the ASUS application on it. I will eventually take away most of it. I don't know why anyone would want the ten"screen. That is too small to get much of anything performed.

This was a cheap but wonderful upgrade more than my last laptop. This netbook has a lot of speed thought i did turn a lot of windows 7 apps off to boost the speed. I like having the HDMI port. This is more of a dilemma with ASUS than the essentially personal computer. It comes preloaded with tons of crapware. You have to get rid of a lot of applications you will in no way use. I can't come across out the answer to my question anyplace but how numerous gigs of ram will this mobo support? I am performing a small gaming on this computer and i want to see if i can upgrade it to four gigs.

1. The ATI Radeon Graphics Card 񢬚) would allow me to have no challenge streaming MLB games and Netflix videos.2. Windows 7 Property Premium (instead of starter) was loaded on the unit.three. 2GB of DDR3 Ram4. Robust Wireless (B/G/N) Atheros Adapter.5. The AMD Neo Chip Ƒ.7GHZ) was substantially quicker than the Intel ION Processer.six. HDMI port to hook up to my Sony Bravia HDTV.7. three USB Portseight. Only 3.21 pounds.I've owned this so-called netbook for 3 days and it is nearly as fast as my 2 other laptops (desktop replacements), which price three times far more than this unit. 1.There was some bloatware on this unit, which I had to analysis to come across out what function it performed prior to I removed it.2. It was hard for me to vertically scroll down. I resolved this by going into the settings on the Synaptics Pointing Device - Wheel - Roll the Wheel 1 notch to scroll - and changed it to one screen at a time. This made vertical scrolling much less difficult.three. The battery only started charging immediately after it fell beneath 95%. No huge deal I suppose. I wanted a light, ultraportable notebook that I could carry about with me on my summer time trips, but I did not want to sacrifice poor functionality or spend a lot of income for this. Net browsing is rapid. The price tag was suitable right here and so far overall performance has been extremely fantastic.

The integrated radeon graphics on this factor are wonderful. i can play half life 2 4x aa 8x as at a native resolution fine. cod mw2 can run on medium settings. The model i bought had no os so idk if it comes with the catalyst manage center but it did assist out a lot with power consumption. The keys are spaced out like a mac book and the further two inchs is effectively worth it. theddr3 ram is snappy as properly. building are alright the bezel in the from of mine has a decent gap in it and wont snap down also the mouse pad is quite nice despite the fact that the click is seriously hard to hit. This factor has a genuinely good balance involving simple tasks, multimedia, games, and energy consumption. I by no means thought i would be installing steam on this little thing but it rips and i advise.

ი.1 inch HD screen (so substantially much better than the 10inch low-resolution models primarily due to the fact with the 12.1 you can see the entire internet site natively without having scroll-bars.)+AMD K125 CPU performs far better than any single core Atom and is just under the dual core N550.+Bigger keyboard tends to make a globe of distinction compared to the ten inch models. +HDMI-out to 1080p resolution (Intel integrated graphics limits their HDMI-out to 720p)+Discreet ATI 4250 w/ added 128 MB RAM (Side-Port) for playing Direct X 10.1 games with low particulars+Large Multi-gesture fingerpad +Matte finish greater than shiny plastic -Battery life fairly poor for a netbook, three-four hours.-With black matte plastic, finger oils show up as black spots-Tough drive makes clicking noise when accessing information -Challenging drive is not simply replaceable and if you do replace it, this voids the warranty-With No OS, you have to have a transportable CD-player to set up WiFi driver on a 32-bit OS. You have to have personal WiFi adapter to download driver for a 64-bit OS. For 踰 (in my case 跽.99 - ฤ coupon) you won't locate a much better netbook. [IF YOU GOT THE ASUS EXPRESS GATE MODEL w/ NO OS] I did have some issues installing the Wifi driver as windows didn't automatically come across it and the CD that came with the netbook a) wouldn't perform if you don't have a transportable CD player and b) if you have a portable CD player - doesn't install with a 64-bit OS. I went to ASUS straight for the driver and they had a newer version and an older version, for some purpose the new version didn't perform but the old one did...it took me many hours to finally get it to perform and it would be a major problem if I didn't have a added WiFi dongle on hand to access the internet, be forewarned.

Right after weeks of investigation on what netbook will supply far better overall efficiency 񡼿 N intel) or 񡼿t AMD) With the conclusion that the 4250 is about 2-20% faster than the New gen intel ION graphics. The Amd processor keeps up with the dual core atom and beats it in most applications when overclocked.Very Quality SCREEN!Nicely spaced keys make prolonged typing quite simple and painless.Asus Express gate is handy if your OS goes kaput on you!Matte black case does not show fingerprints easy in contrast to the Acer and Hp glossy circumstances.Runs MOST new games. (playable meaning 18-35 fps)Runs Fallout 3 Medum settings Fallout new vegas medumTest drive unlimited med no AAtwo worlds 2 low 2xaaVampire:MBL medium to highCSS medumHl2 higher HORRIBLE HARDDRIVE! Pauses game to read/write cycle, has a terrible seek time. Will ocasionally lag and pause gameplay to load game sounds ect. Incredibly loud and slow. Extremely recommended you change this out as soon as you can. Terrible click bar button mouse thingy... I suggest an aftermarket mouse for all notebooks anyways.Horrible .three mp Webcam.. I had a superior camera on a ten$ prepaid cellphone... In 2005.Lags a bit playing 1080P from web Fantastic mix of notebook speed with netbook sized portability! Gaming capability, autocad, photo-shop ect.HD playback wit HDMI out fantastic for HDTV movie watching!I advocate a 7200 rpm drive with a very good seek time at the minimum, A SSD if you can afford it and 4gb of RAM if you want to game.

Very good machine. I might have rated it four or five eggs if I didn't have a hardware dilemma that I have to resolve with ASUS. I assume that New Egg ought to deal with these matters when they arise. They should act on the behalf of the buyer to resolve the issue with ASUS. It appears that do not stand by the items that they sell.

- AMD Processor- ATI Graphics- 12.1" 1366x768 Resolution.- DDR3 Memory - Loaded with Bloatware.- Finger print magnet.- Difficult drive access clicking.- 1080p playback. When I was first searching for a netbook, I saw newegg.com posted that this netbook can do 1080p playback. I knew it was also good to be true. 720p plays properly although. I've written up an in-depth evaluation of my experiences on my website, search for MatheusDebull 1215T on google if you really feel like reading it.

Incredible performance for the dollar.Incredibly mobile.Very good personal computer to have with you when you are on the go. Battery life is acceptable for a netbook, but greater than most laptops.Keyboard flexes and is slightly smaller than a normal keyboard (also some keys aren't where you might expect them to be - throws me off at times), so not ideal for writing for an extended quantity of time.

- Solid size and screen- Reasonably rapid can good at handling single tasks not fantastic at multitasking- Large keyboard compared to 10inch netbooks - keyboard is kind of mushy feeling not really negative even though. - not the greatest construction- Is consistently buzzing and quite dam loud when performing mundane tasks. If somehow it shuts up it would be close to ideal- battery life isnt excellent possibly wait for the subsequent gen neo's to see an improvement.

I love this machine. The keyboard is just the correct size and so is the screen. The hd is great and getting the full version of windows 7 is a great plus. IIt has more rapidly ram and a quite huge harddrive which is nice. HDMI output and sd card reader is valuable, have already employed it on my HD television and it looked wonderful. The click pad on the mouse track is genuinely tough to press with your thumb which isn't exactly useful. The keyboard is somewhat flexible and is kinda flimsy feeling All in all this is a wonderful machine! Recommend this to everyone who desires a superior, solid quick netbook.

compact, light, much more typical screen proportions than ten" netbooks. Still a bit underpowered for some points.

The computer itself is absolutely what I wanted. Smaller than a typical laptop, but not overly smaller. It has sufficient power to really run World of Warcraft, when I am on trips out of town. Ideal for my needs of a laptop that is not a desktop replacement, but battery requirements are not a leading concern. I wanted to make this method a dual boot W7/Ubuntu machine. I created a mistake though, and overwrote my windows install when I installed Ubuntu. My fault, and I do not location blame on any person but myself for this. Where I do have problem though, is that I opened a support ticket with Asus, just to see if there was a way to recover my Asus windows install, either from the recovery partition, or by means of other indicates, and have received no response from Asus a week after my inquiry. I was prepared to be told that I would have to purchase yet another windows license due to the fact it was my mistake that caused the problem, but it surely annoys me that they can not respond at all to my support request. This program is great, what small I did have a opportunity to play around with the windows OS showed it to be a lot responsive, and, as I said, it played WOW. It seems sturdy enough. Obviously its not going to take a great deal of a beating, but you wouldn't anticipate that from a 踰 dollar laptop constructed of a plastic exterior. Bottom line, if you don't ever do anything stupid, or don't care if a corporation doesn't respond even various days soon after their own 48 hour timeline to a support ticket, this procuct is definitely worth five eggs.
