Cons: Never going to be a power-house video card.

Pros: Inexpensive AGP solution.
Comment:
If you need to replace a dead or dying AGP card, this is a decent middle-ground card. Not too expensive and NCIX presently offers a shipping deal. If you want to push the limits of AGP, however, this is not the card. It is not 8x compatible, and I have noticed some artifacting in higher-end applications (Microsoft Flight Simulator X). Don't hope for the sky and you won't be disappointed.

Comment:
I went from an old 3dxf card to to the diamond 1650pro and it is 100% better. For the cost and how easy it was to install this card is great.

Cons: Dual Monitor flaky

Pros: Moderately fast. Frequent driver updates
Comment:
This is a decent card, but it has problems driving two monitors reliably. If you tweak the drivers, it works for a while, then goes out at some point when you reboot, and only sees one. Updating to a different driver solves it. For a while. A real pain.

Cons: Crashes periodically

Pros: Chear under $100 (after rebate), DirectX10, cheap Shader3 upgrade
Comment:
I purchased this for my g/f computer and it was AGP, DirectX10 and a cheap Shader 3 upgrade. However, after I took out my 9800Pro (which was rock solid and I loved dearly), it periodically crashes (I have an Antec PS 450 with AthlonXP2500+). Updated all drivers and boiled it down to the card's fault. It plays MoH:Airborne but would just crash after a few minutes (sometimes won't even boot). Even basic games from FishGame like Mystery Case Files, there's lots of graphic artifacts and crashes. Never again with Diamond and ATI!(Note: I would've given 1 star but I lost the receipt from NCIX and it needs the receipt to rate it this low!)

Cons: Don't expect to push over 1024x768 with AA and such on newer games.

Pros: Image quality is great. ATI is better in image quality imho than NVIDIA. I have had both and ATI always looks better. This card seems well designed and I like the heatsink on it.
Comment:
Have had this card for about a month and think it was a good deal. I got it for around $70-$80 when it was on rebate, and am still waiting for that as it hasn't been 12 weeks yet. NCIX also threw in Dark Messiah: Might and Magic, which is underrated I think.Picked up this card because am still using an AGP system and hopefully will get a new one next year. This should extend the life to play newer games.Performance is very good for its price. It ran Half-life 2 Episode 2 at good speed even with medium-high settings w 1024x768 even with 2x AA. It only slowed down in some spots like near the end where the huge battle occurs. Bioshock also run with a playable framerate at 1024x768 with most things turned down, but lagged alot in some places and with lots of enemies and such. Bioshock seems not optimized well and is intensive game, could have to do with my CPU also being 2.4ghz.Card is not very noisy but a little noisier than other cards I have had. The card I got was the 256mb as shown. But the picture might be wrong. This card has a ATI fan/heatsink with art drawn on it, covering most of the card. I had two 9800 pro's crap out on me from Sapphire in 6-12 months, hopefully this will not happen. This card seems well designed This review was modfied by poster @ 11-10-07 05:25 PM

Cons: picture is not what i received, i got a 512mb version in their 236mb box. Difficult to set up, did not take on first install, had to do clean install as last video card was nvidia. very hot running card with no overclocking. noisy fan but acceptable. rebate is 12 weeks.

Pros: decent video card for price
Comment:
you get a pretty good card for 70 dollars if you get your rebate. agp is a dinosaur ready for extinction though. good for upgrade from xfx 5600. plays cs source. and dark messiah at medium frame.

Cons: AGP,noisy fan

Pros: AGPCheapreasonale performance
Comment:
I bought this card for over $100, b/c i was worried AGP cards were getting scarce. Beats my Radeon Pro9500 turned into a 9800 clearly in any FPS. The fan is noisy, but overall not a bad card for an older board.

Cons: - Extra power plug needed (if you can count this as a weakness)

Pros: - Cheap- Low power consumption
Comment:
I ordered it for my Compaq that serves me as a media station. Surprisingly enough, the power supply on this computer is only 200W but the video card works perfectly on it! So far I've only tested HL2 which works pretty well, with some slowdowns in bigger rooms but I can't tell if its my computer or the video card... But for the price, it definitely worth it!

Cons: - None that I can think of so far

Pros: - Very good quality for the price- Great video playback features- Low fan noise
Comment:
Bought this card to replace my outdated Radeon 9800pro and I must say I'm quite impressed with the performance so far. I was hesitating between this and the nVidia 7600 and decided to go for this one because of low price + weekly special.Running at 1680x1050 with 4xAA in WoW (Yes I know it's an old game!), with all settings maxed, and getting a steady 30+ FPS as well as improved visuals from my previous card.
