The cost was just ideal for me. I went from two - 256MB RAM to 2 - 1GB, the maximum my HP Pavillion can accomodate. So far no error messages. My games are functioning far better. I was content to notice that the chips used on the new memory had been the very same as the old, "Samsung". Installing the DIMMS was a small more tough than I anticipated. I had to get rid of some stuff from my floppy drive so I could access the slots much more readily. Removing the old memory DIMMS was easy, but I had difficulty pushing in the new ones. Memory functions fantastic for a great price. Kingston is a good brand and backs up their items with a restricted lifetime warranty. Wish the old computer I was updated could have applied 2 GB sticks ;)

I have installed Kingston Ram in several older computers and never ever had a issue. This 1 gig stick was easy to install and works best on an Abit KG7 Mobo None As usal Newegg Rocks!!!!!

Puts your box into overdrive just like it's supposed to. Honestly I don't game on my personal computer just surf the net and download music or movie mostly and it works just fine. It doesn't install itself, but sliding the chips in is straightforward sufficient. Fire and Forget, what else do you want...?
