Pros: This is a great printer compared to the brand brothers

THIS is the best printer I ever used, its auto duplexing saving money and paper, also it has a LCD screen to see my photos.

Cons: - A bit heavy- With ethernet, it seems to pause between pages - seemslike no memory for spooling like laser printers?- printing could be a bit faster- There is no USB cable included.- Setting up the ethernet connection requires that usbconnection be setup first.- remains to be seen what Canon (updated drivers etc) willprovide when Windows 7 is released.- problem with multifunctional devices are when somethingstop working.- printer may have been replaced by the MX860

Pros: - It has USB or ethernet connection.With ethernet connection, any machine can print directlyto the printer versus with USB connection, you have tospool to the machine that the printer is connected to.- It has a telephone cable included.- duplex option- can print, scan, copy and fax- quality seems fine.- There are two paper inputs (at the back and paper tray)- supposedly do DVD/CD printer but I believe it requiresan extra optional tray "F".
Comment:
Relatively happy with the printer so far.Basically wanted an ethernet colour printer with duplexoption. Got this on sale ($124) and free shipping, so itwas great value even compare to newer multfunctional printers. This review was modfied by poster @ 08-18-09 07:32 PM

Cons: Need to configure networking thought the USB port the first time

Pros: Duplex scanning and printing over network cables. CD/DVD printing is very good/quick/simple. Photo quality is great. Cost of running is fair to good.
Comment:
This printer is excellent, have found it ideal in every way, after the initial setup.You do know that the "USB" socket is actually a PictBridge socket and just as well you couldn't get your flash drive in it!
