I would not recommend this software. The main reason for me saying that is because it can, and with the majority of people; does, develop an error, in which the main security screen is just a blank box, thus preventing you from scanning, or getting to any subsequent screens. To remedy the situation I tried several things, even uninstalling it completely and re-downloading it; this worked for about 2 days, until it went back. Recently I refunded my renewal, and have gone with AVG, with no problems.But, when it works, it works good. It scans proper things while and before downloading, it scans websites, and, contrary to the other reviewer, it does not have laggy updates at all as long as you are on a high speed internet.All in all, I would not recommend this software program, and would definitely never purchase again.I would have given this a one or a two star rating, but since I never ordered McAfee from NCIX, the lowest I can give it is a 3.
