Macros; DPI on the fly is awesome and clutch for a gunship on black ops with the 4000 setting. Matte texture that is a bit rough, but i like it. Stiff buttons, but i like that over the X5 i had which had actual sensitive buttons. Tilt wheel is kinda rendered moot with my 22" monitor, but it functions nicely. The led indicator shows anything you will need to know about the mouse. What DPI setting your on, whether the battery is low, charging or Full. A lot of persons stated there was no way of figuring out if the battery was complete, effectively my mouse shows when it is totally charged. So, your mouse sucks and mine is king. None that can't be afforded. I have my receiver is underneath my desktop about 2ft straight in front of my mouse. The charge cable reaches fine and I haven't had a skip but. It's uncomplicated to conserve battery life. The side buttons are stacked flanges rather than buttons, this distinct really feel is probably the finest evolution in mouse design that needs to be adopted. I consider this turned into a different Pros section. You should get this mouse. This is a large mouse. My girlfriend doesn't get pleasure from it like I do. If you have smaller sized hands, I would be ready for a climb when employing this mouse. The charging cable has a magnetic finish and it snaps in effortlessly and doesn't interfere with the balance of the mouse whilst in. This is the finest style for a mouse that I have observed in its class.

THe notion of interchangable feet, a magnetic cord attachment, the position of the forward and backward thumb buttons, and the capability to record macros are all good. But the potential of this mouse to accurately track is simply non-existent. There are occasions exactly where this mouse just doesn't react to my movements. It's typically just for a fraction of a second or so, but it's painfully clear in a wide range of games. I don't know if I ought to blame the Bluetrack for this or the Wireless nature of the mouse, but either way it's insanely frustrating. From time to time I will move the mouse slightly to click on a button or a thing and it will move, then studder a bit as I stop it from moving. There are also problems with the mouse buttons themselves. You can truly press the button and hear the 'click' sound as the button is pressed down, but the mouse will not register that the button has been pressed, and as you release the button you once more hear the 'click' sound that all mice make. In other words, from time to time the buttons just don't respond. The two principal functions of this item (moving a curser, and clicking) are it's two weakest points by far. If you are taking into consideration a mouse, then buy a Logitech. Any Logitech. This mouse is one to be fully avoided, and I will almost certainly just return it to Newegg. Will I ever obtain Microsoft hardware once again? Ehh... possibly in yet another couple of years we will see... but with organizations like Logitech out there, Microsoft has a lot of perform to do.

Solid really feel/weight to it. Added Feets you'll be glad you had extrasButtons placements are A++ for quick button clicks when in gameLED screen shows speed and when battery is dying.2.4g Wireless.. No lag at all!DPS speed 750 - 4000 Only con I have is the magnetic charger, after 6 months or so for what ever cause the magnetic charger begins to behave funny meaning sometime it will charge the mouse and some time it won't and mouse's indicator will reflect that as nicely. I've Lookec about on the online it appears to be a pretty recognized dilemma, now I just charge my batteries on a battery devoted charger and switch out batteries on my mouse when I want to because the magnetic charger no longer charges my battery in the mouse itself. All round it is a great strong mouse that's built to last despite the concern with the charger which I think was an afterthought least researched component of the mouse package from Microsoft.

nice amount of programmable buttonsGot it on sale for ์ 4000dpi (although I dont need it that high to game)the 3 button cycle of dpi changer (you can transform the values of these in the settings)wireless appears to work fine (no functionality lost) (Im working with the Mouse for a laptop)The dangle/ receiver for the mouse is really the cable management point that also comes with the different forms of feet for the mouse. I hoped it would be a smaller dangle that can be detached from the charger. Now there is no purpose in getting wireless if i cant actually use the mouse to take with my laptop simply because you have to carry around the huge receiver and thats not cool. If youre buying this item to use on the the go with your laptop, feel once more. Install the newest version of intellipoint(drivers)This point is big. Good issue I have major hands.Had this for handful of months and its still working fine. Expecting it to final me at least 2 years. We'll see about that

*Excellent tracking*excellent button placement*long battery life*Extremely Comfortable*Hockey Puck Base station is great *dislikes cloth mouse-pads*clunky software This is by far the finest mouse I have ever owned. I have bigger than average hands, and it is the most comfy mouse I have ever utilized. I did have some tracking difficulties when I was working with a cloth mouse pad, but my major mouse pad is a Xigmatek pro, and I cannot say enough excellent factors about the mixture. I am not at all a fan of the microsoft Intellipoint software that it runs with, but it has been fairly substantially set and overlook. I selected 3 fantastic sensitivities, and havent touched them in ages. The mouse delivers far more correct tracking than both of my preceding higher end gaming mice, when being additional comfy than both by far.

Every thing about this mouse is excellent. The shape, the responsiveness, the buttons, the scroll wheel, even the attributes. On-the-go DPI is extremely valuable, and the buttons are conveniently positioned. I actually virtually finished this assessment, but then I lost it. How so, you might ask? Nicely, there's a explanation I'm writing this overview, and it's precisely the same reason I gave this item a two star. My mouse is currently shut off. When I leave it on after extended use all through a day, it generally begins "acting up". This in depth list incorporates but is not limited to:-Scrolling on it's own-Failure to scroll on demand-Random activation of the buttons on it's own (such as the side button mapped to "browser back", hence the loss of this overview)-Constant flashing indicating lack of battery energy, even after replacing the battery, chargeable and non-chargeable.-Accidental activation of the "macro" button, which benefits in almost moronic spamming of the previous keystrokes I used in games.-The need to get rid of the battery and location it back in for the mouse to start off working again (I do this one particular A LOT) All in all, I'm certain my solution was defective, which is a shame. This solution does have great testimonials for a explanation. I have been employing it for quite some time, and these difficulties never ever actually got to me until today. Right now my mouse have been performing really poorly, insisting to scroll nonstop, no matter if I'm in a game, on the net, or in the bathroom. Obtaining to turn off the mouse in order to read a website effectively crossed the line. Normally "resetting" the mouse by removing the battery functions. Yes, this does mean the energy button doesn't work when the mouse is failing. When it's performing properly, the energy button performs fine. Otherwise, the mouse stays on, forcing me to get rid of the battery.

I have substantial hands and a regular mouse just does not function for me. This 1 is really comfortable. I like the way it looks. The rear of the mouse appears like a diffuser on the rear end of a high end sports car or truck. Stupid, I know, but I still like it.Lots of buttons. Goes from cordless to corded very quickly. Not crazy about the placement of the 3 buttons that alter dpi setting.

Mouse failed to track correctly. Acted like it was recieving some kind of interference, the mouse pointer would jump all more than the screen when the mouse was not even getting moved!. Attached the cord which has a slick magnetic connector and the dilemma nonetheless existed. Tried reloading the drivers and switching USB ports to no avail. Also tried an additional wireless mouse which worked properly so I suspect the mouse was the difficulty. Packaged it all back up and sent it back to newegg, reordered a wired Logitech MX-518 rather which works completely. As a Planet of Warcraft junkie I was disappointed entirely with this mouse and its performance. I'll not purchase another piece of hardware produced by Microsoft, they require to stick with software. Absolutely nothing but Logitech for me for now on when it comes to mice Difficulties like this must'nt come about with a mouse this high-priced, immediately after researching additional I see that the erratic tracking is a known challenge Buy from Newegg, it's worth it for the piece of mind. Finest consumer service in the business!

Purchased this over a year and a half ago. Almost everything nonetheless operates. For me, it feels quite comfy/natural. Thumb buttons assist a lot in games, as do the DPI buttons (very easy and effective for sniping). I appreciate the computer software that permits you to customize the buttons for each and every game. I have banged this about a bit/dropped it/spilled beer on it and am impressed that it nonetheless functions. Lengthy battery life/short recharge, also. Also, the recharge wire is so small that you won't even know it's there when you are recharging. Absolutely has not slowed me down when gaming. I've gotten utilized to the beautifully manufactured, heavy, knurled, aluminum scroll wheel and can\'t stand my buddy's low cost, light, rubbery wheels (when I game more than there). Bad mouse, no cheese. Some individuals comment on the looks, but who truly cares. I appear at the mouse about 2 seconds a day; to determine exactly where it is prior to I use it.Would obtain once more if this 1 ever fails.

Really like the mouse. The DPI switching on the fly is awesome... the receiver and charger mechanism is wonderful. The mouse wheel has a excellent feel to it and the custom program macros make switching amongst games seamless. But... the mouse is a small pricy which is the only reason I knocked of an egg! If the mouse was 15 dollars less costly I would have offered it 5 eggs so if you have the funds, I propose this mouse.

- Feels nice so nice.. when my initial 1 went south I bought a different one particular!- Texture doesn't quickly show fingerprints.- Medium sized mouse feels good and meaty in your hands (lol)- The thumb buttons feel excellent- DPI is smooth and dead on even for wireless - My final 1 bugged out and it would automatically click on it's personal.. wth right? haha- Microsoft hardware warranty is kinda a doozy trying to navigate the maze. I've attempted on 3 occasions to start off the RMA approach by means of their web page but it was down every single time I tried. Microsoft server fail! I've owned a a different one prior to this 1.. but I bought it for a smokin' deal at 54.99. I thought I would see a fair quantity of lag for a wireless mouse but for the everyday gamer there is no way you're gonna notice. It's so easy because you can use it on any surface like your jeans or your face. (YOUR FACE Folks)If you had the income and want a sweet wireless mouse this is it.

-Higher DPI awesomeness!-Sensitive and good tracking!-On the fly adjustments-Great wireless. No troubles with connection whatsoever! Like any mouse, comfort is an issue. It's tough to judge from a computer screen if it'll be what you like. Gave this five eggs for performance.Personally, I have a massive hand that I've broken 3x. I also like to grip my mouse in a "claw" grip. That mentioned, if you have a substantial hand and grip in that fashion, you may possibly not like this mouse. Palm-style grip, and you're set. In particular if you have a major hand. Fantastic mouse and as far as I'm concerned worth the cash.

Awesome mouse. It does what its suppose to do. Enjoy the plug-and-play capabilities. Took awhile to get applied to the high sensitivity, but I quickly overcame that. None It came down to the X8 or the Mamba. The Razer Mamba does beat the X8 on just about every little thing, but the value is just also fantastic to pass more than.

A new style that is slim. The red LEDs make it look nice. This would be Perfect if they fixed the bugs! This piece of tech has a mind of its own. You can install the computer software and do the update BUT it will nonetheless do random actions such as double clicking, cutting/pasting, and so on. It slips, but that can be fixed with some skaters tape. This is meant to be a gaming mouse to give you the edge. This mouse puts you at a disadvantage due to the fact it has a mind of its personal, and slips out of your hand when moving it.Take my advise, get a thing else.

The sensitivity tuning is a nice feature. The on-the-fly macro creation does its job. The mouse is pretty comfortable even immediately after lengthy hours of gaming. The button layout is placed tremendously properly and is easily accessible. The charge and play is a unique aspect. The replaceable feet is a good addition. What is actually a impressive draw for this mouse is the price. 80 bucks for decent wireless gaming mouse. The negative part about this mouse is that, for me at least, it is erratic at instances. It would skip and stall in the monitor. The last couple of months it has not been working adequately. It's either the mouse and the receiver are not linking up ideal or the Bluetrack technique not working . Also the play-and-charge seizes to work now. It doesn't charge the mouse at all anymore. It is a very good gaming mouse when it is functioning to its complete possible. For the price its a decent option to the mamba.

almost everything was working and it seem to be a good mouse all round but not for the price.we are paying big for a gamer mouse and IT'S NOT A GAMER MOUSE. there is only two button to the left. the third cant be changedthe buttons for the dpi on the prime either.so there is absolutely nothing unique with that mouse...the software program is the good old intellipoint, there is nothing at all new inside except that we can adjust our 3 dpi mode speed...no led, nothing at all... i bough that mouse at special value here on newegg for 45 $ but tomorrow i go ship it back with a RMA... i hope it will not price me also considerably income lol because the shipping is at our charge when it's not broken...I just bough a planet of warcraft mouse ten min ago.the g500, g700, and S.A.T. x7, (not S.A.T. x9 its 150 $ !!!!!) appear extremely great as well.the g700 look the finest for wireless/quality/price/utilityi chosen the wow mouse just mainly because of the key finger buttons (its original and look entertaining lol) and for the led flashing... except that i ought to have taken the g700 im an idiot lolz+ the g700 look far better for fps... on overview ppl say the wow is no very good for fps but i dont believe so... there is just as well quite a few button it ought to be fantastic.
