Cons:
Upon set up, take careful note that there is an ATI HD audio integrated into the card and if computer is set to auto detect audio card, will disable any integrated card currently had. Simple to fix, on boot>set up and change audio option from auto to enable.
Pros: Great boost to transfer rate, runs nice and quiet too. Simple to install, is up and running with CCC in about 8 minutes or less. |
Switched from NVIDIA and had ASUS 8500 silent and 9850. Both these cards are very much the bottom of the barrel and the worst amount of "bang for the buck" I have ever seen. I currently own an ATI HD5770 (to replace 9850 NVIDEA which fan died in 2 weeks) and required a new card (HD5670) to replace the 8500 NVIDEA silent magic on my secondary computer which over-heated after 2 years in the worst way.ATI Radeon cards are the best cards that I own and have been beyond happy with their performances. Though not quite up there with my 5770HD, the 5670 is in EVERYWAY the best of the lower ends out there and compared to my NVIDEAs once owned, may as well be up to par with higher ends and can't beat the price. All my future purchases will forever be with ATI.
