Two of these appears Great in Crysis 2! Plays with Intense settings. And Two of these is probably quicker than one 6990. Due the greater GPU and Memory speed of the single cards. Not seriously any cons. Other than the size of the cards and the wattage expected to run two. I set the fans at ຦ for minimal noise and decent cooling. Amd appears in to be in the lead on Video cards right now. Excellent for them. Especially with the introduction of the 6990. In my opinion the the 6970 cards are superior than the the 580GTX due the fact that they have additional memory per card which signifies they are less probably to utilized shared program memory. Just want they'd invest far more money in bringing out greater CPU's. I'd like to see AMD on leading again with the CPU's. Been also lengthy.

Stays cool, Great appear, Very Nice graphics. No troubles at all as soon as I got it installed correctly. Replaced with a 4870 HD haha. In Left for Dead 2 I utilized to get about 17-40 fps now I get 300 fps. BFBC2 I'm not positive the fps but maxed out everything no lag no hang ups no snag absolutely nothing. I felt as if I were there. went from 7.2 - 7.9 WEI Big! I have the nzxt phantom black full tower and I have about 2" of space from the end to my hd bays. I installed the disk drivers and kept telling me it was up to date the disk gave me v8.8 i think its at 11.2 now. It wouldn't let me update it and kept saying it was up to date... I ultimately got previous that though. Really Good card. Def worth the obtain. I had my doubts in a no name brand.. I usually go with asus or a thing. But this card proved me incorrect. Runs each game on max settings, quiet, stays cool. Truly just an amazing card- I upgraded from a ATI Radeon 4980 to this, mainly to prepare for newer-gen games (BF3, etc...) None so far! It's fairly huge, but this was not an concern for me seeing as my situation is enormous. Also, make confident you have a decent power supply (it needs a minimal of 550W). Doubly so if you are receiving two.

This card runs my games (COD BO and BFBC2) at max settings with no hicups and gets excellent frame rates. I have been slowly overclocking it and testing stability with no problems to report. It handles my games greater than my 5870 did so I am pleased. Temps keep in the 60's in my rig when running a stress test and fan at 65%. None for me. The card could be as well loud for some men and women when the fan is above 60%. I registered the card and have a two year warranty with it.

Quieter than expected. When method kicks on you hear the fans run at max, sounds like a jet taking off, but then they slow down to a additional nominal noise lvl and keep there, even for the duration of heavy gameplay. One card runs superior than two 5770's in crossfire by a substantial margin. Substantial buffer so operating AA maxed out doesn't cause stuttering in most games. I genuinely like these cards, don't get me wrong but what I have to say in the cons, these run things quick and smooth. I'm just super crucial on some factors. I see room for improvement by way of driver assistance. When I use the cards in crossfire, I'm not seeing the performance jump that I saw with getting my 5770's crossfired. When I run benchmarks, they run superbly. But when playing a game like, Battlefield:Bad Business 2, it gets the similar frame rate whether or not I have it crossfired or not, but that frame rate is nonetheless greater than that of acquiring 2x5770s crossfired, but just significantly lower than expected (I'm operating typical of 100fps, which is respectable, but my 5770's in crossfire had been carrying out 90FPS. For a supposedly better product with a value tag 3 occasions the quantity, I was expecting far more.) Only game I've genuinely had problems with this card so far is the new a single known as RIFT. RIFT doesn't help crossfire that nicely, so obtaining two of these cards is working against me. I get a lot more FPS with 1 card disabled. I've had my technique crash when toggling crossfire back on. With these in crossfire, RIFT gets around 30-60FPS sporatically. I get odd shadows in game as properly, the 5770s handled shadows far better Plastic casing around card sits sort of low, some motherboards PCI-E slots sticking up go a small high and stop me from pressing the card all the way down. I fixed this by putting a piece of card board beneath the mobo to make it concave and the other PCI-E slots to drop down a small bit so I can get a superior connection. An problem for the 2nd card, not the first. Cards are fairly lengthy, make sure your case can handle them. If you're searching for a card for the extended haul, this is it. With the two year warranty and advancements in gaming coming out this year, this investment will be worth it. I have faith that the crossfire concerns will be worked out with driver updates in the future, when I first got my 5770's I had a lot of game not want to run properly with them, but after about 2 months, all these concerns got ironed out and they worked beautifully. Shadows appear like garbage on these cards. I dont know why, but they glitch and tear. Play Metro 2033 outdoor enviroments and you will see.

With two of these in crossfire. I enhanced my 3dmark 11 score from 5300-5600 to over 9400. Substantially superior than I hoped. Now the method truly rocks. You can set everthing to the max and forget it. Fallout New Vegas runs smooth as butter. Make sure you have a hefty power provide if you going to run two. 850 wasn't sufficient for my technique. I purchased two power supplys prior to I settled on a 1200 watt just be protected. It was a tight fit to put two in the situation. Correct up against the HD case. GTX 580 a week prior to and i send it back due to the fact of the heat and fan running like a jet engine everytime i was gaming. Now that i got the 6970 i seriously do not see why is the GTX 580 far more high-priced!

THIS CARD IS Amazing! Not only can it handle anything thrown at it, but with the constant buffer purge technology involved you never have to be concerned about fps dropping beneath 36 fps if you and you only get that low if you are running several video intensive applications at the very same time. still no skipping or lagging this card is just spectacular you'd better have a cage big sufficient to hold this monster!

Additional memory than the 580GTX and only slighty slower. I've had mine considering that december the 1st week of it's release. Didn't get that one particular right here. But I just ordered a second for crossfire. Kudo's for Newegg for getting it in stock today. You can nearly order two of these for the price of 1 580GTX! If I had to knit pick. Possibly two items. No Phsyx assistance. I know it's Nvidia factor. And a lack of existing programs to take advantage of hardware for video processing and converting. Let you know how the crossfire functions out. Must be pretty awesome.

Strong, doesn't hesitate with new games (not that I have a lot, but the couple of that I do dominate. I really feel this card will surely final me very a although. Catalyst Manage Center provides this infant even a lot more lasting power. I don't have any games that I can't max out so I haven't utilised CCC for much yet, but it's nice to know that as time goes on and newer cards come out, I can simply kick the CPU speed to 950 hertz and the memory clock to (if i recall appropriately) 14500 hz, which signifies it will be appropriate for even longer.*card has an HDMI out port that supports sound so using my desktop as a gaming AND home theater Computer, makes me Incredibly pleased *I only notice concerns video wise with older games (Age of Empires 3 and portal, perhaps driver problem?)*The 1 genuine concern is purely cosmetic, I have no cause to think it degrades high quality of the pc's function, BUT when I 1st got the card there was a rattling inside it, a day later a modest (less than a cm square) piece of plastic fell out from the inside of the card, no idea what it goes to, but when it fell out the rattling stopped, but what is that factor?! AND the metal piece with all the interfaces on it was bent! That kinda bothered me, but it's in the case, functions fine, no will need for me to return the card over it Awesome card, absolutely buy it, the two games I have issues with the concerns are so minor it's actually not even worth much. I did call Diamond Technical support 1 occasions and it was pleasant and they sounded like they were in my country, incredibly amazing

They've carried out nicely on each and every game I've put them up against. I adore my new cards. They run so hot you could no kidding connect a heatpipe to a skillet and cook off the GPU heat. I never believed some thing could put off that a lot heat... You can constantly alter the fan speed by way of the ATI catalyst computer software...it does bring down the temp really a bit. I bet I'd make a fortune with the heatpipe skillet invention... ? Hmmm...

It does what it is supposed to and the price for performance was good. Heat output is fine and the sound level is low. A very large card and may well not fit in some cases. The card is really longer than my motherboard but I use a full tower. I attempt to always obtain diamond goods as they have never ever let me down.Performance isn't what I expected. I was running two 4850's in crossfire and the 6970 performs only slightly better. I played my games maxed ahead of with decent FPS. The 6970 actually only allowed extra overhead to enhance AA a small. I increased FPS on typical for most games by only 10 which isn't noticeable but I can often crossfire it later with my old 4850 to increase performance.

Cons: no accessories,

Pros: 4 way crossfire support, best price per performance, nice cooler and colours,
Comment:
bought 2 of these for a 4way crossfire rig, they work well in 3 way with one slot between each but 4 way it get way too hot and shuts down the pc withing 15~20 minutes due to bad cooler design,Very great card for price vs. performance but AMD/ATi should not advertise 4 way crossfire support unless you upgrade to water cooling. But they are very great cards, I bought 2 sapphire's for accessories but at a local shop unfortunately.

Cons: - Dimensions (see summary)- Price is a tad bit more than I wanted to spend. I'd give it a 5 star if it were closer to $300 than to $400

Pros: - Very Fast- Runs relatively cool for such a large card- Overclocks very very easily and without a hitch
Comment:
The card runs fast, cool, and overclocks nicely. It's wonderful. I have the option of doubling it up for almost perfectly scaling crossfire, so that's again a huge bonus. The drivers work well. Love the card. The one criticism I have is that the metal panel for the DVI/HDMI connections (which must be screwed onto the case) doesn't quite fit in my case properly. I'm sure this wouldn't be a problem for someone with a large case, though I do have an Antec 900 which should be of the proper dimensions (length-wise the card fits just fine).I'd give this a 5 stars were I to not have had the fitting issue. Rating 4/5 (one star off) due to my own bit of troubles with fitting the card.
