Excellent tiny board. Unlocked and above clocked my Phenom with no asking inquiries or acquiring as well hot or failing or something like that. If you have a significant graphics card, the freaking BIOS battery is underneath it. lkasdjfo;aisja;weijfasdf. Not exactly an above clocker's wet dream. I'm not taking any eggs off of this due to the fact it was made to be a spending budget board with a stock downdraft cooler and a modest (or no) graphics card. I stuck a GTX 460 and a Hyper 212 on this factor and it is CRAMPED, but it all fits.Purchased this to replace a dead q6600 that my old PSU took with it when it shorted out and fried every little thing soon after about three years. This will almost certainly hold me more than for a lengthy time. |

Applied for my NAS develop for the low power, affordable onboard video, low price, 2x PCIe x1 and 6 SATA slots. Functions like a charm. Documentation isn't fantastic but you will at least be able to uncover what you need. None Applied this to create my unRAID server. Didn't recognize that the Atheros LAN is not compatible with unRAID, so lost the funds I saved on this board acquiring a ฮ Intel LAN card. This is my personal fault although, board functions excellent otherwise. |

Uncomplicated install, instant POST on initially try. First point I did was unlock the second core on my AMD Sempron 140 and was fast and painless. BIOS provides plenty of options like overclocking profiles (save settings, and so on), backup of BIOS to USB (and restore), firmware updates from USB, and so forth. 6 SATA ports a plus, plus an IDE port. Flash screen was enabled by default so I couldn't inform what crucial to hit for BIOS. Had to look it up in the manual to even turn off the flash screen to show tests and on screen prompts (DEL gets you in, FYI). BIOS didn't seem to give boot choices for devices not linked as far as boot order. What I don't know is if you set USB as alternative 1 for boot, then eliminate it, if it will put it back as option 1 when you re-insert. Still sort of annoying...maybe a BIOS update would repair it if I was seriously worried about it. Also, sound didn't work with Win drivers, loaded CD driver, worked, but then a windows update ought to have botched it yet again. It's a property server, so I'm not even employing sound and as a result haven't troubleshooted (troubleshot?) it. Shows as enabled in device manager and still working with the CD driver, just need to discover a driver that operates better. Only has a 4 pin CPU power connector so limits high wattage CPUs and some overclocking. Not that I care...it had me at "core unlocker". My cons are longer than my pros only due to the fact I didn't list every little thing that worked excellent. If I didn't mention it, it works fine. It genuinely is 5 star worth IMO. Was super uncomplicated to set up. Still incorporates a floppy port for some cause...just will take up genuine estate. Overclocking switch on the MB seems handy, even though I haven't used it. Far more USB ports could have been nice on the back, and/or an eSata port, but my situation offers each those to the front so whatever. As yet another reviewer said, I had to get the manual out for pin outs on power sw/lights, and so on, as the writing on the MB is hard to read. No major deal. |

I gave this four stars simply because I heard it's just about outdated~Has all the slots I will Will need. Have not encountered something wrong with it however. |

I like the truth that its all black. It worked good correct on startup. No problems whatsoever. I adore this board and all of its attributes. I utilized it for a mid range gaming machine and I got much better accomplishment! NONE. Price was quite low.Able to handle my WHS setup with no issue 1 two Dimm slots Documentation could have been much better Undoubtedly not for gaming or intensive usage, but would operate properly for a parents machine or the like |
six SataCore UnlockerLow Power ConsumptionI have been running this board for a week and a half now. this thing is awesome for my purposes. I constructed a freenas server out of this board. I picked it so i could put a low power Sempron in it and make use of its 6 sata slots. I am using software program raid for my Hdd so no comments on Raid.Booted Up first effort. Recognized my 1600 Ram immediately. Motherboard writing was challenging to study and decipher. I truly had to whip out the manual to hook up the power, hdd, reset, and led pins. Normally written on the board. Oh nicely not that massive of a deal.
