Cons: - Middle button is hard to press, but you can just map one of the arrow keys to it

Pros: - Great feel- Looks nice- Different profiles for DPI's and button controls- Color adjustable LED's- Very accurate
Comment:
Bought this mouse for $49.99 during the boxing week sale. Couldn't be happier. Never had a laser mouse for gaming, just optical. I have also never spent more than $20 on mouse. But I see this mouse is worth every penny. Both grips are comfortable. Mouse just feels right in your hand. I highly recommend it to any one looking for a gaming mouse.

Cons: Need more types of grips for big handsthe dpi buttons take a while to get used toside button are just slightly off spec for big/long hands with current grips

Pros: Price (on sale for 49$), customization, DPI, Glide, touch...
Comment:
over all i love it, previously used the original G5, and this G9 is very nice, the 2 included Grips offer a nice change when needed, wish there where 1 or 2 more to chose from.the Glide is perfect, key sensibilities are spot on, the middle wheel is slightly hard to press but its shape help's allot.Overall i give it a 9 out of 10.

Cons: The additional grip that comes with the mouse seems cheap and the primary grip feels MUCH better.

Pros: Where do i start. AWESOME mouse...BUY IT!
Comment:
This is my first mouse that i've ever bought...i was contemplating between logitech and razer, and well i think i've made the right choice. This mouse comes with weights, extra grip, super cool packaging, and most of all, very effective in every day use.

Wiegth system is a gimmick, altough I ended up style using some since the mouse is really to light wihtou them. I reaplaced a broken copperhead with this and it is a bigger mouse.

Couldn't resist the $49 offer and I'm really satisfied right now. This mouse is perfect for ppl who have somewhat small hands and use finger grip, and want smooth glide experience. I really like the feeling of button clicks and wheel rotation. Perfect match with Steelseries SX pad!

Pros: Comfortable for claw grip, braided cord, looks sharp.
Comment:
Very happy with this mouse, extremely responsive and customizable. Was nervous about ordering without having a chance to try holding it first, but couldn't pass on the $49 sale price! Glad I went ahead. Braided cord is excellent for avoiding kinks. Was a nice addition. I use a claw grip to hold it and it's very comfortable, pinky finger rests on the edge rather than dragging on the mouse pad. Not sure how it will work for alternate styles. Gave 5 stars simply because the price was phenomenal for a mouse of this caliber.

Cons: Its Broken after 12 months because of Stiff Cord

Pros: Great control
Comment:
Great mouse in all aspects especialy for claw style holders. I play games that need high control such as Starcraft and Counterstrike.....Cord is so stiff that it has broken inside and the power no longer goes to it consistantly.....would not recommand

Cons: Feet tend to collect dirt, have to be wiped off once a week.

Pros: two grips included, one for those that use their palm, and another more suited for those that hold the mouse with the fingers. Very low friction when used with proper surfaceDPI profiles stored onboard
Comment:
I love this mouse, ive now used it for around 2000 hours of gaming, and its still performing flawlessly. One great feature is that you can adjust the differant dpi profiles (speeed) and switch on the fly. The profiles are stored in the mouse, so if you reformat, or use it with another computer, you retain the sensitivity that your used to. Im using it with a steelseries sx pad, and the very low friction level is great for the minute accurate movements often performed when gaming.

Cons: Grip style may not be for everybody?

Pros: Seems sturdy and well constructedCustomizableFast and accurate so far
Comment:
Noticeably bigger than my previous Logitech, however it is quite easy to customize to your liking. Has extra outer 'cage' to adapt to hand size and a weight package to change to feel overall, Glides and clicks smoothly. I have not used the programmable buttons yet, I find Logitech software a little on the bloated side. So far, so good, longevity will be the telling.

Pros: -good feel-adjustable weight
Comment:
Quality design, super-smooth gliding, very customizable. This mouse is extremely well-suited for people who hold their mouse claw style. (google claw grip mouse for explanation of different styles) If you do not hold your mouse claw style, you probably won't appreciate this mouse as much as other more traditional models. But if you are claw style, like me, it is a godsend, as the two thumb buttons are both in range of your thumb!

Bought this to replace my Lachesis which doesn't work properly with the Goliathus cloth pad (confirmed with Razer). This is a much better mouse. It's more comfortable as the Lachesis has an awkward ambidextrous design at the front. Customizable features like grip, weight, led color are all great. Glides very smoothly

Cons: Not as confortable as can be.

Pros: Solid build quality which is expected from Logitech. Comes w weights, and two body shells, on the fly sensativity adjustments on the mouse itself.
Comment:
Great mouse, as expected from Logitech. Not as confortable as my MX Revolution or my MX Performance, but this is MUCH more responsive. I like the textures on the diff grips too. Not everybody likes the grip of the G9's (i know two friends who hate it). I think it's definately a personal thing.

Cons: The scroll wheel button is too stiff; takes too much pressure to be of any use. In my opinion, the mouse is heavy enough without any of the additional weights.

Pros: Easily adjustable on-the-fly DPI. Custom colored LEDs. Switchable grips for fingertip or palm style gaming. Very comfortable. Great profile manager software. Looks cool.

I've owned MANY gaming mice in the past, and this is by far the best mouse I've ever used. I will certainly purchase this mouse again in the future.

I bought a razer lachesis (my first razer) and it wasn't the best mouse I've used. Then I got the G9... wow! finally something different. I still prefer the feel of the MX1000 but this mouse brings so much more to the table. All the buttons are easy reached and used and are completely programmable with keystrokes and macro's. And to top it off you can save profiles to the mouse that you can switch to with the press of a button! And you can color code them so you know which profile you are one. this is a much better setup then the razer system of blinking lights and slow profile switching.I love the profile switching for dual booting OS'es and formatting all the time. I dont have to worry about resetting up all my macro's and keys for wow and other games. Its already there! Its nice to boot up to a fresh intall of windows and have my sensitivity settings already the way I like them :DYou might read some bad reviews from people but every bad review I have read is from ignorant people... they say that other mice have profile features while this one doesnt... but it obviously does so I have no idea what they are talking about.

Only had this for a few days but its awesome. I'd have to wait a while before i see any major flaws but for the time being i dont see any problems and its comfortable / responsive.People should wait for it to be on sale for sure, not worth the regular price. I got mine for 59.99 but its on sale again for 49.99.

Comment:
I bought this mouse on sale for 60$. I needed a mouse to replace my mx620 which wasnt cutting it in FPS games. I grew addicted to the smooth scrolling of the logitech mice so I instantly chose the G9 as a wired alternative. The adjustable sensitivity is amazing as I actually can increase the precision when using snipers and decrease it when I use knee-jerk weapons, all on the mouse! I found that the mouse works best without any weights and again it is great that you can customize that. The only drawback is that the scroller is tough to 'click', especially in smooth scrolling mode.

Ok So i bought this mouse yesterday when it was on sale for $69.99. Although it was on sale-I think that 40 ish would be much more reasonable for this mouse. I noticed a few things when i opened it:why is the box so damned gaudy? I mean there's this magnet so it opens up like a book-the instruction booklet is in a nicely packaged little box and is FULL COLOR; there is this nice little tin box which contains the weights and is covered in VELVET. I mean Logitech could have given us a blander box. I would have gone for a blander box if it had been cheaper. But on to the mouse. It's great. No doubt about that. Much better than the copperhead I had been using. But it's still a tad bit unsensitive. Ah well. The weights are surprisingly useful. Although i initially thought that they were another gimmick.Overall...i give this mouse a 8/10/. Mostly because of the practically extortionist price that Logitech is charging gamers for this mouse and their sad attempt to justify it through packaging.

I wouldnt buy this mouse again, I got it from another store so I cant give it one star. I expected more from logitech, back to microsoft for me. The hurdles you have to go through to rma this thing with logitech are too much of a hassle.

This mouse is supurb for gaming, editing, and general use. I prefer it over gaming mice with higher button counts. The thumb buttons and sidescroll function on the wheel are plenty enough inputs. The real deal sealer here is the variable sensitivity control right on the mouse. Also it can be custom weighted, as it comes with multiple weight sets, i go for maximum weight and size to provide a hearty experience.
