Cons: poor battery life

Pros: ergonimic and smooth
Comment:
Overall nice feel to mouse, high arch supports palm nicely. The chrome alloy accents on thumb rest discolored within 5 mths use.Worst part of this mouse if the extremely poor battery life. It came with a Sanyo Eneloop 1900mAh battery which is a plus but this mouse consumes so much power it needs to be plugged in and recharged every two days from normal use.

Cons: Software (SetPoint) isn't the best

Pros: Works on glassMany buttonsFits my hand nicelyStill using the rechargeable batteries that came with itNano (very small) receiverCan use the receiver with a compatible keyboard (such as K800)
Comment:
The reason why I got this mouse was because my desk is all glass and I didn't want to use a mousepad. So instead of getting a 5$ mousepad, I decided to get a 90$ mouse. Makes sense doesn't it ? :)I really like that mouse, possibly the best I've had. It has a great response time, many buttons and it fits my hand. Be careful when shopping mouses online, not every mouse will be confortable in your hands. Of course, the Darkfield technology works as expected and I was impressed on how good it works. I tried on many glass surface and other surfaces, no issues at all.I've been using this mouse for the last 3 years and I don't have any complaints really. I recently had an issue with the Setpoint software, where I had to downgrade to a lower version, otherwise my CPU would spike each time my screen goes in screensaver. This is a known issue of the current versions of Setpoint, but that is an issue with Setpoint and not the mouse itself. I realized while writing this review that I am still using the rechargeable batteries that came bundled with the mouse, which is impressive after 3 years. The batteries easily hold their charge for 2/3 weeks when using the mouse on glass for 3-4h/day average. It tells me that the mouse is quite easy going on energy.Really a very good buy. I recommend it to anyone. Logitech sometimes is flakky when it comes to their lower priced gear, but this mouse is their premium line and is worth every $.

Cons: This mouse seems to stutter occasionally - in the middle of a game, the mouse would stop responding, but only for a couple of seconds - this issue rarely occurs, but is still an annoyance, and only started happening near the 10th month mark.

Pros: Receiver is very small and inconspicuousAble to use while chargingAble to use on multiple surfacesFree scroll very nice functionVery comfortable to use for a long period of time.
Comment:
This is a very nice mouse, the function to allow it to scroll freely is very nice to browse long pages. The 4 buttons on the side are nice, but I only use the forward/backwards one. The rare unresponsiveness is a slight nuisance, but only when playing video games. This issue did not occur until 10 months in. The Darkfield technology is interesting, but it still feels best when using it on a mousepad. I would recommend this item if it is on sale when you purchase it.

Cons: - 1500 dpi is a harsh downgrade from 6400 dpi

Pros: - Very comfortable- Nice shape and design
Comment:
Great mouse that I bought for on-the-go use with my new laptop. Love that its wireless receiver is a tiny, unobtrusive one. Figuring out how to set/increase DPI took a google search but otherwise no real complains. Just be aware that 1500 dpi is really weird when you're used to much higher dpi numbers.

Cons: Right hand onlyList price is ridiculous but sale price was worthwhile

Pros: ErgonomicsFree scrolling choiceBattery charging within mouseWorks on any surface
Comment:
I have the previous generation of this mouse, and decided to get another at sale price. $70 is fair for a mouse with these features and build quality, but the list price is high. The free scrolling and the fact that the mouse can be used on any surface are pretty compelling features.

Cons: - Battery Doesn't Last Very Long- Not Precise Enough For Gaming- Expensive

Pros: - Wireless- Good Range- Precise For a Wireless Mouse- Rechargeable- Lots of Neat Functions & Hidden Buttons
Comment:
I bought this mouse to go with my wireless keyboard for my bedroom. Sometimes I'm too lazy to get up to change the movie or whatever. It's great for that.

Cons: - Battery indicators are only shown when low or when turning on/off- Battery only lasts with normal use for 2-3 days- Isn't quiteas accurate/responsive as my other wired logitech gaming mice- Side-wheel buttons don't have any resistance or noise, making it hard to tell if you've hit them or not.- Expensive

Pros: - Feels good in the hand- Works on multiple surfaces- Many different buttons- Free-wheel scroll is fun to use- Thumb button window cascade is great, even though it doesn't work as well with multiple monitors
Comment:
Bought with the intention of using at work, I haven't had the experience with gaming and the like, however I've found it to be a good mouse once you get used to it. It has a different feel to the other Logitech mice I've tried throughout the years, but it's reasonably ergonomic, has several nice features, and works on multiple surfaces. Unfortunately, the battery life isn't all that great, and there other other issues that are a little annoying.Being as this is my first wireless mouse, out of everything I've seen, it's a solid buy, but it needs quite a bit of improvement compared to the usual quality I expect from Logitech.

Cons: This is a very long mouse, not for people with small hands, you need average or longer fingers for this one. You have to lift your thumb a fair bit to use the forward/back buttons as the thumb ledge juts out above your thumb and those buttons are above the ledge.

Pros: Enough buttons to have almost every function you use normally at your fingertips. Not too many buttons to be confusing. The extra programmable button to the left of your thumb is very handy.
Comment:
I previously used a VX Revolution and an M705 (lousy replacement for the wonderful VX) as my laptop mice. My 705 started to lose the ability to scroll up in a page, so I bought this one to replace it. It has a better thumbrest and the buttons are decently placed on this MX. But a warning, do not buy it if you have smaller than average hands, even by a little bit. I normally rest the heel of my hand on my desk and move the mouse using my fingertips only, this is not possible with the MX unless you have long fingers or fairly big hands. But other than that small detail, the mouse is very smooth and responsive, and has virtually no lag if you are close to the receiver. I haven't tested it at any real distance yet. It's also nice to have a rechargeable mouse that you can continue to use on the wire while it's recharging. I probably should have bought the M510 wireless because of people saying it's more for smaller hands, but the large thumbrest with the extra button at the edge of it peaked my interest. I will adjust to this one, it is a very good mouse all in all.

Cons: could use 1-2 more buttonsquite hard to get used to the wheel's button

Pros: Very comfortablebutton customizationthe software works really nicely, lots of options.
Comment:
I always kinda of "cheaped out" on mice, but this one is definitely worth the price. It's very comfortable to have the whole hand rest on the mouse. It's quite accurate for a wireless mouse too. The software is very nice and allows you to set up the buttons' function on a per program basis. The mouse seems to be well well built and looks like it could last a while.

Logitech makes great products and this mouse is no exception. It is very precise and the USB receptor offers a very long range. The mouse itself comes with a rechargeable AA battery and acts as a charger.

As always Logitech produced an excellent mouse. It's durable and well desgined. Compared to other gaming mice, this is just as good. I do a lot of FPS, and had no problem with this mouse. I would definitely recommend this mouse to gamers, or non gamers.

Cons: Price can be steep if you don't get it on sale.

Pros: Works on glass surface, switchable DPI setting, battery is rechargeable, replaceable, removable, charges through micro USB
Comment:
Like all Logitech MX mice, this didn't disappoint. Very easy to set up on Mac and Windows 7. Very comfortable. Battery is simply a Ni-MH Eneloop which you can recharge, remove, and replace when needed. Comes with a nice carrying pouch to keep your cables in. Highly recommend.

Pros: USB Chargeable while in use - no docking / works on all surfaces / doubled up as a presentation device to flip slides across large area / Used battery compartment as usb receiver storage
Comment:
All in All great product - good build / no more replacing batteries or having to keep a battery charger around. There is no issue with button(s) placement - mouse designed for average size hands.

Comment:
Great mouse - I like it !!! I got this to replace a piece-of-junk Logitech Revolution MX mouse that came with my keyboard. This one is a huge improvement over that. It has a more ergonomic grip, although this could be further improved - it's not perfect yet! It can be recharged from any powered USB port, for example I am using a port on the printer, which is on my right hand side so it's close to the mouse. The mouse will continue to work just fine during recharging. It also has LED battery level indicator. I particularly like the wheel, you can scroll through a lot of pages really fast if you want to. Other than that it really feels like a quality product. Its only flaw, if I had to find one, is that it is a little too tall. I have an older Logitech mouse that was lower and felt a lot more comfortable in my hand. Anyway, this is a mouse for big hands, my wife cannot use it at all. And that is a definite plus!!!

Cons: Middle Click button sucks. You have to put a lot of force behind the press for it to register.- Some people will not like the height of the mouse - especially for people with small hands.- Hyper scroll switcher gets in the way of using the wheel, you may touch the switcher when you use the wheel.- Setpoint 4.8 software not as good and integrated as Intellipoint 7.0.- Mouse cannot fit in the included carry bag. Why would anyone need a bag just for the cables.- Back and Forward buttons are too high, too much effort to use these buttons.- the Zoom button gets in the way of the Back and Forward buttons.

Pros: Rechargeable- 9 programmable buttons (must install Setpoint software) (left and right side scroll counts as buttons)- Only requires 1 battery for power- Able to use the mouse while recharging (uses a standard micro USB connection)- The horizontal scrolling of the middle button is analog.- Great range on the receiver, I am able to get great reception over 10 feet.-The hidden button under the thumb is in a kind of okay position - wish the area is even bigger.- Comes with a good Eneloop battery- Power switch on the mouse.- Good enough DPI and adjustable in setpoint.- A smooth mouse because of its great laser tracking technology and wireless receiver.- small wireless receiver.- A great service from NCIX.
Comment:
- Good for gaming. I was able to map all 9 buttons for different functions in many FPS games such as crouch, prone, reload, swap weapon, melee, etc.-Coming from a 5 button Microsoft mouse with Intellipoint 7.0 i was use having customizable buttons per application. Setpoint was very disappointing as it did not do this. I quickly discovered Uberoptions that solved that downfall.- Some people will not like the height of the mouse - especially for people with small hands.- The middle button - it is bad. I've used many mouse before and the middle click was always a firm click with a loud clicking sound. This mouse middle click is more like you have to bang your finger on the button for it to register. With customized middle button in Firefox, closing tabs or opening links in new tabs which use to be a simple 1 click with my previous mouse is now a 3-5 clicks for it to register. I use middle click a lot with Autodesk Maya, so this mouse does not work for me. Maybe I have to break in the middle click, but for a $117 mouse I shouldn't have to break in anything. Not just me, some other users in Logitech forum, customer reviews from other online stores, and CNet user reviews have complained about this. So, I concluded even if I ask for a replacement it will have the same problem. Due to the abovementioned problems, I have RMA this mouse for a refund. This mouse would be a great mouse if the mouse is not this tall and defective middle click button. It is sad.
