Cons: - Heavy for a small mouse.- Needs two batteries.- Expensive.

Pros: - Very sturdy with heft.- Excellent detent mode.- Responsive wireless.
Comment:
I don't like smooth scrolling mice, so the ability to turn on detents for the scroll wheel is a nice touch and works extremely well. Nice and tight with good resistance to it's clicks, but absolutely no friction when in non-detent mode which may put off some folks. For some reason I had trouble double clicking the left mouse button which I attribute to the overall flatness of this mouse in relation to my hand. The thumb area was a bit snug too, but the buttons there were well placed compared to other mice I've tired which have the same configuration.I like this mouse insofar as this style/size goes, though I was pretty surprised at how heavy it was once the two batteries were added and even before that. I went with the G700S in the end though which IMHO is the better choice when you compare prices (when it's on sale).

Cons: Battery life is short under heavy usePoor construction

Pros: Nice sizePerfect for laptopComfortable Comes with a case
Comment:
I used to love this mouse....it was easily the best mouse I ever owned for comfort and gaming once you get used to half size between a laptop mouse and a gaming desktop mouse. That being said it was sadly soured my experience over time. The first mouse started to develop problems with the back button after the first year. Logitech graciously replaced it with another one under warranty. The second mouse lasted about 6 months and then the right click button started sticking and getting stuck on. Logitech again replaced the mouse under warranty. The now third mouse was working great up until recently when it is now double clicking when I left click once which can really mess stuff up when your playing a game. All in all if it would quit breaking this mouse would be terrific but unfortunately after 3 replacements I will not be going back to this model anymore.

Cons: - No on-board memory- Higher battery drain with the dark field

Pros: - Smooth scrolling- Very responsive- Comes with a nice travel pouch
Comment:
Overall a great mouse. I needed a mouse for work that is wireless and supports hyper scrolling (I scroll through a lot of log files on a daily basis).Battery drains faster than M505 that I own prior to upgrading to this mouse. (been using the M505 8+ hours a day at work for over a year and still running on the stock battery, not sure about this one, but SetPoint is saying I've only got 93 days of battery left)I also own a G9 at home and would have loved the on-board memory be on the anywhere MX (mainly keystroke assignment) so I can plug on another laptop with the same settings.I have not tried the darkfield to comment its effectiveness.
