Cons: -Battery life isn't phenomenal-Doesn't feel quite as nice as my old Logitech G15 did-not worth >$100 IMO.

Pros: -Typing feels pretty good-backlight is much appreciated-ability to go wireless is nice-smaller footprint is great
Comment:
This is an awesome keyboard - the keys feel nice, the backlight is solid. I like the smaller footprint compared to my old Logitech G15, which was great but I was starting to find it to be a bit too big on my desk.I was very much impressed with the Logitech K360 (basic wireless keyboard) but decided to spluge on a sale on the K800 (still more than double the price of the K360). I really wanted a keyboard with a backlight.I can say that they typing experience is very nice; not perfect, but very good.

Very satisfied with this purchase. Very nice keyboard like the proximity detection feature and the ability to pair with three devices. The price was better than anywhere else.

Pros: Flat keyboardBacklight is excellentRechargeable batteries hold their charge for a whileStill pretty quiet after 3 yearsNano receiver, which can connect to other Logitech peripherals (such as mouses)
Comment:
I really like this keyboard. I have nothing to say against it. After 3 years, it is still very quiet, the backlight never failed on me and batteries hold their charge very well. I am still using the stock rechargeable batteries that came with it. I have to recharge the batteries each month or so, but this is not a complaint. I never use the OFF switch when I don't use my keyboard. Doing so would probably stretch the batteries to 2 months.Because it comes bundled with the Unifying nano receiver, I can use the same receiver for that K800 keyboard and the Performance MX mouse from Logitech. The receiver is very small and I even forgot to transfer it to my new motherboard when I switched to my new build. The backlight is perfect and you can adjust it to the luminosity level that you want. It really is a great keyboard and the best I've had in the past 15 years of working with computers.

Pros: rechargeableilluminatednice designgood keystrokes
Comment:
a nicely designed keyboard by logitech, I love it. the keys feel snappy, not mushy, I have no trouble typing on it for long period. It's illuminated but this feature is not important to me as I have my desklight on all the time. it turns off by itself when not typing which will save battery, I dont find it annoying.I'm playing Diablo3, Skyrim and Bioshock Infinite for hours on it without any difficulty. It has a function keys with the usual multimedia keys plus dimming and brighten the Led lights. I'm very satisfied with this purchase.

Cons: Poor workmanship on the clips, and USB cable broke within a month.

Pros: Good lighting. After reconfiguring the sensor using the software, quite happy
Comment:
I'm really happy with the lighting, features, and touch of the keyboard. Unfortunately, it took 2 weeks to break a clip, and without the SetPoint software, that hand sensor thing (with 5 SECOND light deactivation) would drive me absolutely nuts.

Cons: Quality control/assembly issue

Pros: Customer Support
Comment:
I had this keyboard for a few months before I really started to play with the functions. BIG MISTAKE! I wanted to increase the brightness level of the keyboard but upon playing with the F5 & F6 buttons I found they worked in reverse! The increase brightness button (F5) DECREASED the brightness level and the decrease brightness button (F6) INCREASED the brightness level. I contacted customer support and after suggesting an uninstall of the Setpoint software (possible cause of the problem but unfortunately not the solution) they were quick to send a replacement (while letting me keep the original). Once the replacement arrived, I unpacked it and set it up but I soon discovered it suffered from the exact same problem as the original keyboard. I contacted support again and they said the keyboards they had tested worked accordingly and offered to ship me another keyboard. I can't be bothered sending back units if the ones they keep shipping all have the same hardware/software issues. I have better things to do with my free time then chase customer support. Anyone else experience this issue with their purchase of this keyboard? Oh well, I'll have to shell out a bit more money but I'm looking at a Saitek illuminated, wireless keyboard now. This only gets 3 stars because this stupid review asks for an order ID and for whatever reason it won't accept mine. In reality this keyboard gets a 1 star!

Cons: no solar powerslightly cramped

Pros: backlitwirelessproximity sensor
Comment:
good keyboard. Finally, wireless and backlit and not $300Sensor works well. Hate the cramped layout.... why not make it a bit wider? They make one that has a solar panel to charge during the day.On a high-drain device like this one, that feature would be a no-brainer, right?Pricey but really the only game in town and it's decent.

Cons: Backlighting is erratic, keys stick, very expensive for poor quality.

Pros: Thin, light, wireless.
Comment:
I'm now paying the price for being an 'early adopter'. I'm typing this on the sister keyboard to this one which is the wired version. It has performed so well that I was excited to get what I thought would be the same in a wireless version. First I was dismayed to see that had changed the key layout a bit, the worst being cutting the Del key in half so they could squeeze an 'Ins' key into the same space. The backlighting is triggered by a proximity sensor that turns the backlighting on for a few seconds. Often it does not activate the backlight until you actually press a key, then it goes out again very quickly, and once again if you are typing in the dark you can't find the keys you need until you press something on the keyboard. This kind of defeats the purpose. Then after about 7 weeks the space bar started to stick. I carefully lifted it and blew in compressed air even though I could not see anything in there. That did help for a few days, and then a few days later it returned and the same thing happened to the Enter key: you depress it and it stays down, slowly working its way back up again. Again I lifted it from the bottom edge and looked under and it appears to be a mechanical problem with the design of the plastic lifting mechanism underneath because the actual switch pin seems to respond properly. Now I'm going to have the dubious pleasure of testing their warranty service, and I'll report back on that if I can as well. Overall I would say do not purchase this keyboard as it appears to suffer from some serious design flaws relating to not only the proximity sensor, but also the key mechanisms.
