It's the best keyboard/mouse combo I've had so far... I have yet to see the battery last 3 years but so far no battery to replace.

Cons: none

Pros: sensitive mouse, nice touch feeling keys and no nonsense build-in functions.
Comment:
I really like the combo. all I have expected are there. the mouse is actually smaller than I thought. maybe a bit too small for someone with big hand.

nice combo... i was suprised how sensitive the mouse was, had to turn it down quite a bitI like the way it feels overall, although i'll probably upgrade in a few months to gaming mouse/KB and give this to my parents who will love it for what they do :D

Cons: Poor keyboard

Pros: Great mouse, good range, good response. Love the keyboard resting pad.
Comment:
Funny i was just debating on putting up a review on this keyboard since i saw it on sale again. My gripe is with the keyboard and the new direction logitech went with the key design. After a year of usage the keys started to creak stick and have friction making it very difficult to type and causes mistakes. I have to note that my keyboard is on a pull out shelf so it's never exposed and I've never spilled anything on it, moisture, dust, etc. This applies to all the keys except the numpad since they have not been used as much. I am now shopping for a replacement, very disappointed and i'd stay away with all logitech keyboards with this key design.

Cons: No adjustable DPI on the mouse. The middle button for the mouse is hard to adjust.Keyboard size is very huge

Pros: Comfortable KeyboardOne of the most impressive wirelessTwo wireless items that can connect with one USBExcellent Battery Life
Comment:
I had this keyboard for over 2 years. Got it for $99. I am very satisfied with it. If you are playing games with it, you can't go wrong with this combo. The mouse is rated one of the best wireless mouse in the market, and to attach with a very comfortable keyboard. Great buy!

Cons: LCD is not backlit. Could have put backlit keys in too. but that would affect the 'long-life' approach. SetPoint doesn't give me a battery life estimate for the keyboard (software related thing?)

Pros: soft touch keys, softpadded hand rest, on/off switch for mouse & keyboard, 1 unified receiver, battery level on LCD display. Mouse battery charge in SetPoint is estimated for over a thousand days remaining.
Comment:
LCD doesn't really show much compared to a previous logitech keyboard i gave away, but the battery level is exactly what i expected to see.the mouse is good, nice fit. if your into gaming beware the 'third-button' or the button below your thumb is sort-of easy to activate which by default zooms all your windows out into a sort-of 'expose' mode (like on a Mac). not fun while on a streak. you will have to disable or re-assign the button in the Setpoint software. Cons: SetPoint still not optimized for MK710LED keyboard status hard to see in dim lightingMouse for smaller hands and maybe heavy for some

Pros: Great Design, Look and StyleLED Status Indicator Keyboard2.4Ghz Mini Unifying USB Receiver Hyper Scroll Comfortable and Compact MouseComfortable and Quiet Keyboard with Cushion Palm RestBatteries Lasts for 2 Years+ shown in SetPointOn/Off Switch for both Mouse and KeyboardGreat Logistics Built Quality
Comment:
I bought this set as a replacement set to my Microsoft Wireless Desktop 3000 BlueTrack Combo because my cousin really liked the Microsoft set and had good use for it (mouse on glass). The keyboard on this set is great and more comfortable than the above mentioned Microsoft keyboard plus it has a LED status indicator for things like battery level, caps lock and function keys. The tracking on the mouse for the Logitech set is not as good as the above mentioned Microsoft BlueTrack mouse but it comes very close. However, the comfort, hyper scroll wheel and cleverly placed additional buttons makes up for this. The batteries on this set last a very long time, SetPoint shows 2 years + for the mouse and probably longer for the keyboard. The MK710 also features a mini Logitech unifying receiver that allows connection of other Logitech unifying wireless peripherals with the need for an addition receiver. Conclusion, the MK710 is a great, well built and smartly designed wireless mouse and keyboard combo and excellent for those looking for make the wireless switch.
